Sandstorm watched concerned as Steeltalon brought Darkness back. There was nothing he could to help either of them.....
He looked over Fatalis angrily, but he doubted that it was his fault. He dighed and laid back down where he had been. Shadow leaf sat down next to him. It was too much for her to think about. Her mind was crammed information and she didnt have time to think about it all.

Steeltalon gently stroked Darkness' shoulder with her snout before getting up and walking over to the root cave. "Are they alright?" she growled softly. Silver just nodded, getting up without a word as Steeltalon brushed past the ferns and curled around the four scared hatchlings.

Fatalis nodded at the Spinosaur. he noticed Sandstorm looked at him, the expression on his face being one of anger. he sighed at the thought of what had happened. he then rubbed his clawed hand on the side of his face, a bit of blood rubbing off. he licked the blood off of his clawed hand before hissing "I just didn't expect our first meeting in years to start like this...him thinking i had betrayed his brother, my best friend during my first years as a loner"...

Redtooth shrugged, growling, "Darkness just hasn't been very normal since that incident, I think. I wasn't there, of course, but it's likely that's the reason he's insane."

Darkness's mind was still raging, but his actions were normal. He shifted every once in a while, but remained motionless. Why am I letting my past plague my new life? he thought to himself, remembering when Crusher almost ruined his chances of living here. The past is the past...Crusher and Blade's pack have no problem with me...nothing remains now to keep me from moving on... Darkness thought, shifting slightly. He sighed, not knowing what happened with the hatchlings. Darkness remembered when one of his out bursts scared Silver half to death, when she was still a hatchling. Not again... he thought to himself, remembering the disgust at frightening the young raptor. And these were his hatchlings. Darkness sighed and continued to think to himself, not opening his eyes.

Softfoot growled angrily. She had been woken up again. The raptors who had helped her yesterday had woken her a few times already. She hadnt sleapt well. She was worried of the humans coming back. As well as that she still hadn't worked up the courage to go near the game trail. Just incase the humans with their noisey box things came back. She decided not to head back to her tempory home by the lake just yet. She would give it one more day before going near the game trail. It also meant that she could eavesdrop on a Lone wolf spot not to far away. It was the only one she had found. It seemed at night lone wolves in the area would hang out there and share stories. She often listened in on their conversations wishing she could share her own stories. Maybe tonight she would try talking to them. If any of them showed up that is.

green eye had been suprised when he saw fatalis appear in steeltalon's territory. then, darkness actually atacked fatalis and ran off. green eye thought to himself:"i'll leave steeltalon's territory for now. i should probably alert crusher that darkness attacked fatalis." green eye growled farewell to steeltalon and began the two mile walk back to his territory. as soon as he arrived, green eye ate from the anatotitan carcass. there was still enough left on the carcass to last for two more days. green eye ate from the left side of the dead herbivore and ate his fill after 5 minutes. green eye was still tired from everything that had occured the day before today. he lay down and his dark green eye's closed as he fell to sleep.

Savage limped back to his nest, the wound from his encounter stretched onto his right leg. He growled in pain as he walked. After many hours of limping, he reached his nest and collasped. He groaned as the wound hit the ground. He pushed him self onto his side then positioned his legs under his body as he threw his weight onto them. He got up and limped to a lake to get some water, the breeze stinging his wound. After drinking, He fell asleep in the shade of a tree.

@ik: dont do it.remember Crusher's in one REALLY bad mood. he's temporarily half blind and has a stinging burn wound from a rocket launcher on his right brow bone and the meat on it. he's also seen his son nearly killed...he'd eat Greeneye alive and then go after Darkness because he was mentioned...

Fatalis looked at Steeltalon, who had rushed off into a small open area under a tree, protected by ferns and brambles. he walked over cautiously, just to make sure he knew whether he was still welcome there. he kept his head low, making sure he didn't look too confidant, as that could make others think he considered himself better than them. carefully, he edged closer to the small root cave, and hissed "Steeltalon?"...

Steeltalon looked up from her hatchlings, hearing her name. "Yes?" she growled softly, not wanting to alarm the hatchlings.

Silver rested on a branch above the root cave, dozing. She was aware of what was going on, however. She was listening for anything that might endanger Steeltalon and the hatchlings. The root cave was shelter, but it was destroyable, meaning Steeltalon or the hatchlings could be seriously injured if something crushed the root cave.

Savage woke up with a sharp pain in his wound. He roared in pain. He snarled and growled. He felt weak and trembled. He smelt blood and looked down. He realized that he had been bleeding excessivly. He snarled and closed his eyes. He breathed heavier and heavier until he didn't anymore.

Savage was dead.

a large predator walked off, Rex blood on it's jaws as it walked off from the red Rex, which had only just noticed it was bleeding excessively from a few mouthfuls of flesh it had bitten off. an insane laugh came from it as it disappeared through the jungle, it's bloody teeth gleaming...

Fatalis hissed "I apoligise. apparently i had come at a bad time. i hadn't expected Darkness to be here...and i had never expected that he'd think i had betrayed his brother...i hope i haven't scared the youngsters or anything else that may disturb you". Fatalis felt it may have been his fault. coming here at a bad time, possibly catching Darkness in a rather stressed mood. and the last thing he needed now was more enemies. if a single survivor from the Ultraraptors or ShadowRaptor traitors found out about him, they'd start to gether again. having any other possible enemies because of a freak incident like this....it'd just give Fatalis more to worry about...

"It's alright...theres no way you could've known about the humans coming," Steeltalon growled softly. "Everyone's just scared they'll come back and catch us all again, or worse kill us." She shrugged, sending pain lancing through her from her burned shoulder. "We'll be alright in a few days, when the shock has passed."

Fatalis sighed. "I hope so. it seems Darkness' outburst at me accusing me of betrayal has practically blown my apology to Sandstorm to pieces. i apologised to him for what i had said a few months ago, a couple of weeks ago. and now, i wonder whether i wasted my breath"...

Steeltalon shifted slightly. "Like I said...we're all just scared. In a few days, this'll all be a memory...a bad memory we'd all like to forget, at that." She licked her burn and added, "Give it time. Soon enough they'll be ready to listen again."

Silver shifted slightly on the branch. Her eyes opened a slit, studying the scene below her. She decided nothing hostile was going on and closed her eyes again.

Fatalis hissed "Well, i think i'll leave until i know for sure you're all a bit calmer. i'd preffer not to come here as a target for hostilities"...

Steeltalon nodded. "Run free, live a long life," she murmured, resting her head on her crossed wrists.

Silver shifted again on her branch, about ready to doze off. She was exhausted, and not just from yesterday's events. She hadn't gotten much sleep, for fear of the humans.

Shadow leaf laid down tired. She was still exhasted from yesterdays events. Sandstorm raised his head and barked to Fatalis "Till we meet again brother." Then he nodded and liad back down. He was still shocked from Darkness's outburst.

Darkness still rested idlely on the overhanging rock, not expecting anyone to speak to him. He sighed, getting annoyed at the constant fact that he was always alone. Well...alone where I lay... he thought to himself, remembering Steeltalon's words and smiling slightly. Darkness's face returned to neutral and he opened his eyes to stare at the stream below, watching the fish move around aimlessly. He remembered the times he sat at this very same spot and watched the fish, that time seeming like a long time ago. Darkness sighed and continued to watch the fish, bored and still slightly shaken.

Fatalis grinned as he left the root cave. what Steeltalon had said brought back memories. a variation of it was a saying that Lone Wolves lived by. "Run free, Live long". he was surprised when he heard Sandstorm's goodbye to him. "Indeed, Brother. Until we meet again, hopefully on less...stressful terms" he called back, as he left the clearing, now heading for the cave his sister, BlackStorm and her mate had made their home...

Hunter limped towards the nest, Lightning helping along and the youngsters growling worriedly. Rampage watched her son, wondering what could have caused this. she had rushed towards Lightning's roar as soon as she was free from the human compound. she had no idea where Crusher was. that was until a loud thump came from somewhere near the nest. then another..then another. Crusher appeared from between the trees, and the look of him shocked them. he had not left the humans unscathed. his brow was burned and his eye seemed stuck shut by what smelled like....burnt blood. Crusher growled "They're dead. every last one of them". Rampage stared at her mate admiringly. he had risk losing his life to get revenge for Hunter's wound. and it looked like he could probably see well if he washed off the burnt blood on his eye. but exposing his burn wound to lake water now could infect it, as she knew well from a wound on her arm...
