Steeltalon smiled faintly. "Yeah...maybe I'm just overreacting." She closed her eyes, calm but still unable to shake the thought that Raven was up to something.

The three raptors slid into the trees, vanishing without a sound. Raven shivered at how stealthy they were and started the run back to Steeltalon's cave.

Redtooth swam ver to the bank of the river and put his head on the ground, an annoyed look on his face.

Darkness grinned back, turning to stare at the wrestling hatchlings. They were more independent now, but still couldn't be left alone for long. Darkness turned back to Steeltalon, enjoying the moment together. Now enough of this kind of talk....what did you think of mine and Sandstorm's "light hearted prank"? he growled, grinning again.

Steeltalon shrugged. "How mature of you," she growled jokingly. She switched her gaze to the hatchlings and her gaze softened. "The gray one's just like you," she purred quietly.

Raven arrived back at the clearing after a few minutes. He was surprised to see Darkness and Steeltalon talking quietly together. He gave Redtooth a mocking glance and hissed, "I went for a walk."

Bluescale headed back to his cave, He had just killed a dryosaurus. He dropped the carcass on the nest. a little baby Tyrannotitan crawled out and started eating it.

Redtooth saw the mocking glance. He glared angrily at the raptor, but resisted the urge to kick him into the river. He had too much on his mind.

Darkness grinned again at Steeltalon before turning to glare at Raven. His threat still applied, and if he heard one more mutant comment, he would snap. Darkness snarled at the raptor, turning back to Steeltalon.

"BlackStorm" she growled, as she listened to the excited chirps of her children. curiosity had pushed her to ask a question. "What made you become a mutant anyway?"

Steeltalon hissed quietly at Raven and stood up, stalking over to the gray male. "Listen good," she growled, not at all in the mood for Raven's comments. "I know you went off to see someone." She scented the air and caught a familiar scent. She couldn't exactly say who's it was, but she remembered it. "From now on, you don't go ANYWHERE without Darkness or myself with you. And you do NOT have permission to eat from kills any time you want or go hunting." She stalked off without waiting for a reply and settled down beside Darkness again.

Darkness blinked, not expecting such an outburst. He shook it off and nodded, barring his teeth slightly at Raven. Darkness turned back to Steeltalon, smirking slightly. Good job... he growled jokingly, still smirking.

Steeltalon bowed her head, smirking. "Thank you," she growled softly, resting her head on Darkness' shoulder.

Raven's eyes widened. So this is the other side of Steeltalon, he thought. The side that others very rarely see anymore. He smirked and nodded. "Understood..." he hissed, laying down.

green eye was shocked when steeltalon told raven that he couldn't eat from kills or go hunting. the dark green eyed rex appraoched steeltalon and growled:"what was that about?" green eye also heard steeltalon mention that raven had gone off to visit someone.

Steeltalon pulled a disgusted face and looked up at Greeneye. "He called me a...mutant," she sighed. "And he judged my hatchlings for what I am."

Redtooth snarled at Raven, desperately wanting to kill him, but not wanting to upset Silver at the same time.

Your welcome... Darkness growled, resting his head briefly against Steeltalon's. He seems to be listening... he growled, glancing at Raven. With good reason... Darkness snarled, smirking at Steeltalon. He looked up, seeing Greeneye. Again. Darkness sighed and moved away, knowing that Steeltalon would want to speak with him.

Steeltalon transfered the disgusted expression to Raven. "Just because I'm a half-mutant..." She suddenly remembered something. "Night called me a half-breed. He was right..." Steeltalon sighed.

upon hearing that raven had called steeltalon a mutant, green eye became angry. he also heard steeltalon say she was a half mutant. just because steeltalon was a half mutant didn't mean she was like darkclaw had been. green eye went over to raven and snarled:"if i hear you instult steeltalon, you will regret it." green eye went over to steeltalon again and growled:"where is silver?" it had been so long since he had last seen silver.

"She went to where she's staying with Rawclaw. A clearing with a pine tree in the center, and a stream runs along the edge of the forest there," Steeltalon replied.

Raven glanced up at the rex, his expression blank, and closed his eyes. He'd need rest for tomorrow, when the signal would come.

Softfoot smiled and hissed "Good to meet you Blackstorm. And I never really, just beacame a mutant. I just found this lake and it seemed whenever I drank from it, I would just feel alot better. I don't see what the big deal about it is though. I mean, Im still me. If anything I am easyer to get along with now than before. Why do you ask?"

Shadow leaf grunted as she woke up and started shifting slightly. Sandstorm snickered and hissed "I see you're finally awake" She ignored the comment and walked over to the para carcas, slightly hungery. He just laughed and climbed back up to his branch...

Darkness scoffed, barring his teeth slightly. The thought of hearing that raptor say more about his mate and hatchlings disgusted him, even after the subject was changed. I'm psychotic, but does that give anyone the right to disgrace me? Darkness growled sourly, disgusted from the raptor's comments. Of course it doesn't....and if that raptor says a word about mutants, he's as good as dead... Darkness snarled, answering his own question. He kept his voice above normal, trying to let Raven hear his words.
