Her mouth dropped open a tiny bit. "You mean... you didn't see the light," she fumbled with the words, "ya know, and the Liliensternus, and... and..." The Lili looked as if she thought she was going insane. "You didn't see any of it." she mumbled. "I think I'm going crazy."

Redtooth gently patted her head and hissed, "There there, you were just having a hard time. You had takern quite a burning from that fire."

[Stallordasaurus Rex]

Red,Dawn, and the survivors of the pack jumped into the lake along side Orange saild and Razor Edge. Redclaw saw his father's body....It was being burned to ashes. Redclaw just looked away, He couldn't stand it. First his mother and now his father. He has lost both his parents, But at least he had Dawn....

Diablo and the female's sights remained lockd on eachother. Diablo, being the most nervous, "So, ummm... Hehm what an acuaintence huh?" Diablo said trying to get a laugh at it, he was only giggleing half heartedly, and the female only let out a snicker for how idiotic his joke was. But Diablo wasn't giveing up. "So whats your name?" he asked. But the female wasn't awnsering, she stared at Diablo, jsut stared, and this made him uncomfortable. Diablo really wanted to get out of there, but he felt he had to do this. He gathered his words carefully, then decided to start over. "Hi, my names Diabl-"
"Shhhh..." the female inturupted. "I know who you are." She scooted towards him, noticeing how uncomfortable he was. Diablo was suprised. "Y-you, know me?" he asked, almost falling off the rock. "Yes... you are my brother." This was the bigger shock, Diablo was sent falling over the edge of the rock. "My-my WHAT?" he asked shocked. "My brother..." the female said. "I am Leaf-tooth, the only surviver of the family you left."

[Legendary Elite]

Berserk had been drinking just a little way off from the sleeping pack, he hadn't noticed the second and third rex in the area. He was not from the Nanos drinking, suprised at the fact that he had not been noticed by the Spinos, Raptor and Nanos. The fact that he realized that there was another tyrannosaur, this one had scared the other away, made him wonder who this proud Tyrannosaur was. Berserk had no territory but was able to handle one if he had to. It would only happen if he had a mate, a female partner. He looked up at the Nanos and Spinos who had been disturbed in their sleep and at the newcomer arriving on the scene...

Raven gently nudged Steeltalon in the direction of the others. His green eyes narrowed against the smoke and rain as he led the half-mutant away from the flames. Steeltalon lifted her head and started barking commands. "Cross the stream," she ordered weakly, coughing as she did so. "It's not safe here...as long as there is a fire raging." She turned to Switchblade and crouched beside the Lili, her eyes brimming with more gratitude than she could ever express in words. "Switchblade, I can never repay you for what you have done. Thank you." She gently nudged Switchblade and pushed herself up, leaning slightly against Raven for support as she gave the hatchlings and Darkness a relieved look.

Silver screeched as lightning struck a mile from their home, almost instantly smoke billowing above the trees. She took cover from the ferak storm in the small root cave, gazing fearfully at the nest and Rawclaw.

RawClaw froze and stared up at the smoke forming in the sky. He screeched and started to gather the two eggs, bringing them in the cave with him one by one. He stood next to Silver and nuzzled her, trying to comfort her. "Sh, sh, Silver..." he growled softly and looked fearfully up at the storm. A thought suddenly came over him. What if the fire was slowly making its way over here? "Silver, let's get out of here now," he said, urgency in his voice.

Switchblade smiled weakly at Steeltalon's words. She chirped softly in her gravelly voice, "I had to do something. Everyone else was avoiding the fire, but I saw a gap that I could fit through," she slowly lifted her head, looking at her charred, bleeding flank. "Well, I could kindof fit through it." She laid her head down again, coughing. With a small wheeze, she muttered, "I couldn't leave them to die, they're my friends." The Lili made another weak smile, laying her head on the soft grass and closing her eyes.

[Shadow]

RazorEdge dunked his head under the water to look away from the blazing fire that was raging across the forest. He screeched when he lifted his head from the water making the few birds remaining fly away and squawk warning calls to anything nearby. RazorEdge glanced around as he seen a shape that resembled a large carnivore. He screeched again Another one?!"

[The Kingpin]

The loud echoing crackle of thunder jerked Crusher from his sleep. he grunted and got up. he could see a slight outline of smoke in the dark sky, and he walked towards the source to find out if it was behind or past the Deep river, to assess if he needed to move the family. Rampage growled to him to stay, but he shook his head. "At the very least, it'll give me exercise. if it's past the deep river, i'll be running back here so fast a Raptor'd get jealous" he growled. he then walked off, a slight limp the only thing impairing his pace, as he neared the source...


"DeathSpeed...from the...the pack you..killed you insane, bloodthirsty psychotic killer!" hissed the Raptor under Fatalis' foot. Fatalis hissed "And how did i kill this pack, exactly, Deathspeed? i dont remember killing any pack in recent times". the Raptor hissed "Y...you..." at that, a crackle of thunder broke Fatalis' concentration on the Raptor for a moment, and it kicked him off, leaping to it's feet, it's neck bleeding slightly from a graze it got from Fatalis' kilelr claw. "You will pay for it, Fatalis...you will pay!". it then ran out of the cave as fast as it could...

Softfoot was looking about for any other intruders outside when thunder echoded across the sky. She flinched and crouched down in fear for a second and then turned back to the cave, just in time to see a raptor sprinting away. She looked up as the rain started to fall and jogged over to the cave entrance. She walked in shaking the water off her and snraled "Who the hell was that? and what did he want?"

Fatalis hissed "Part of a pack that i must've done something to in my past...and he semingly wanted us dead. his jaws were over BlackStorm's neck before i cought him and pinned him down". his mind was working furiously to figure out who that Raptor was, but very few ideas came to mind...

Softfoot nodded and walked further into the cave trying to dry off. She hated being wet. She rolled the words around her head and then growled quitely "Something you must've done to a pack......."
She thought for a few seconds and then hissed "Pack-killer... The raptors we fought yesterday?" She was suprised she had made the connection so quickly, although, it seemed that since she beacame a mutant these little things just seemed alot more obvious.

orange sail could see birds flying into the air after razor edge had screeched. the spinosaur could see that only six of the nano pack were in alive. they had made it into the lake as well. orange sail didn't ask where the leader of the pack was because he was terrified of the fire. the lake would allow them to avoid the flames until the fire finaly stopped. orange sail turned to razor edge and growled:"it seems that we have to stay in this lake until the fire stops."

RazorEdge felt something was wrong and he had good reason to. In the depths, deep down below the 8 carnivores feet much larger crocodile than before was watching them, eyeing one of the nano pack. RazorEdge was oblivious to the danger as it steadily swam upwards toward the nano pack...

Diablo looked up at the female, still sitting on his rock after he had fallen, he was enraged now for two reasons, one that she wasn't a female that he could have as a mate, due to the fact she was his sister, and two, "I abandoned my family!? I did!?" DIablo threw himself up to be looking into Leaf-tooths face. "You abandoned me!" Leaf-tooth did not move from her position, she simply looked him in the eye too. "We went searching for you, Diablo, we looked for you. We looked around the jungle, and can you guess what happened, we befall upon some spinosaurs territory, and after I saw it drag away my parents, and my brothers, I still looked for you." Diablo's eyes were still narrowed. e turned away, again, presing his head against the rock wall. Still cooling off. "Don't you see brother? You and I are the only one's left!"
"And what do you supose I do about it?" Diablo growled. "You LEFT US, Diablo, you left us, do you have any idea ho-"
"I WENT ABOUT FIVE FEET AWAY FROM THE NEST!" Diablo roared again in her face. "Why are you here? Why are you doing this to me? Proclaiming things that you obviously have no recolection of!? Get out! I don't need you in my territory. he said, turning back to the wall. Leaf-tooth looked at him, saddend. "Diablo, you may not have been the strongest of the brood, but atleast back then you were nice."
"Yeah?!" Diablo said, not looking at the female. "Well things change!" They both stood in silence, for a long while. "Obviously they do..." Leaf-tooth awnsered to his statment. She lept off the rock. "I'm going back to my territory, it's by a cave, in the northern area of the island. If you need me you'll find me there." She walked away, bideing her time, as she traveled back to her territory. Diablo was panting from all the yelling. He jumped up onto his rock, and layed down, letting out a deep breath, as he watched the female leave.

orange sail was getting annoyed with the fact this fire hadn't stopped by now. if it had been raining, the fire would have stopped earlier. orange sail lowered his head under water to see if there were any fish for him to eat and he saw a crocodile approaching the nanos. the spinosaur quickly approached the crocodile, causing the crocodile to flee into deeper parts of the lake. orange sail lifted his head out of the water and growled to razor edge:"i chased off a crocodile that seemed to be approaching the nanos."

Silver couldn't move. She was frozen in fear, but not for herself. "Th-that's Steeltalon's home," she stammered, unable to tear her gaze from the smoke rising from beyond the trees. Terror for Steeltalon surged through her, rooting her to the spot.

Steeltalon coughed violently. The rain was beginning to put out the flames, but no one was safe yet. Forcing herself to crouch despite the fire, Steeltalon started licking Switchblade's wounds free of soot and ash. She knew as well as anybody that it was important to get the wounds clean.

Darkness relaxed slightly, seeing his mate, but remained by the hatchlings. The tiny creatures were frightened, for good reason. Darkness lowered his head, rubbing his snout against one of the tiny creatures. He lifted his head back up, staring at the fire. Darkness snarled, enraged, but was powerless to do anything about it...
