Darkness slowed to a walk, the day now plumiting into night. Darkness's pace was slower now, the dark and exhaustion preventing him from running. He desperately wanted to rest, but knew he would loose the trail if he did. Darkness sighed, a growl escaping him as he continued his trek, his limp becoming worse with every step.

Softfoot was wactching the tree when she found her eyes closed. she opened them with a shock. She shook her head and muttered "Ughh. Sorry Fatalis but I really need to get some sleep" She yawned and barked a goodnight. then started padding back towards the cave, to her ususal spot by the rock.Where she curled up, falling asleep imeideately...

Fatalis nodded. he decided he'd go on a late night patrol, just to get more accustomed to this area, as it'd most likely be a territory for them for a while. being a loner, and constantly on the move, he had long since abandoned a true sleeping pattern. he watched SoftFoot go to the cave, and then turned and walked off. he decided he'd catch himself a couple of Compies to eat while he walked, and began to look for a few...

Blade stayed by Darkness' side all night. he was sleepy, but if it meant they'd end this life of constant movement and danger, it was worth it...

The sun shone down on Darkness and Blade, Darkness's limp the worst its ever been. He grunted with every step, the trail oddly strong now. Darkness's eyes were half open, exhaustion unable to claim him. He continued on, almost collapsing with each step...

Sandstorm woke suddenly, being snapped out of his dreams. He growled deeply opening his eyes expecting to see what he saw everyday, instead he saw an unfamiar cave. He started to panic for a second but then he remembered the preveious 3 days. He groaned and stood up, him being the only one awake. He staggered out of the cave and collapsed onto the soft grass, enjoying the sun. He turned his head glancing around the clearing. With a grunt he let fall back down again....

Raven suddenly woke, springing up with a quiet growl. He had the strangest feeling that something was wrong...the gray male hadn't seen anything last night in his dreams. He never dreamed of anything but his lost love, Cecelia. She'd been a part of his foster mother and father's pack....before his real mother and father, Amberclaw and Riptide, decided to break that up. Cecelia had been killed brutally the moment Raven had returned to the nest, in full view. "Ohh, Cecelia," Raven murmured to himself. "If only you had seen me...doing exactly what my mother wanted." He missed the beautiful female deeply, and wished he had been born to a respected family, rather than to a pair of murderers.

Switchblade nodded slightly to Steeltalon and yawned. It was getting late, and she had had a busy three days. She swiveled her head, looking for a good spot to sleep. Her eyes lingered on the cliff cave, but she decided against it. She was sure at least one of the raptors was in it already. The Lili trudged slowly to the edge of the clearing, finding a good fern and claiming it haistily. She flopped to the ground under the plant, curling up, and resting her head in the soft grass. It took a long time for her to fall asleep, in part because she still felt that there was something strange about this new place. It almost felt as if the past wasn't quite gone... as if something strange still lingered here... She lifted her head slightly and shook off the thought. It's probably just because I'm on edge. she thought. She was still unnerved about the monstrous spinosaurus. Soon she convinced herself that it was her overactive imagination, and finally fell into a light sleep.

Sandstorm stood up, shaking himself, clearing his mind. He walked over to the dead spino taking a bite out of its leg again and then he jogged off into the trees. First thing he had to do was find a food source. Any sign of prey would do for him. After that a quick search about to make sure there are no other predators than that spino.

Raven crouched on top of the cliff and sprang, landing on a branch of the tree he'd used to get up on the cliff. From there, he leapt to the ground and looked around, He'd never seen this place in daylight, and now that the sun was out, it seemed much more friendly. More home-like. Raven watched the hatchlings as they slowly woke and started jumping around, probably excited at the prospect of a new place to explore. They woke Steeltalon, who lifted her head with an irritated expression, only to get up immediately and bark loudly, announcing that this territory was now taken back by the family it rightfully belonged to. Raven watched hewr dash in the direction Sandstorm had taken--probably to show him where the old borders had been. Most likely he'd be grateful...after all, Steeltalon had lived here before.

Sandstorm crept slowly through the undergrowth, nearing the scent of some dinosaurs nearby. He poked his head through a fern to see a group of 13 dyrosaurus's walking around, grazing. It would be usefull to know where to find them in the future. He settled down and continued to watch them to see if they would move on and which direction they went if they did.

Softfoot woke slowly. Eventually when she did get her eyes open, she glanced around the cave. Everybody was asleep, as usual. Grunting in annoyance she stood up an quitely walked outside. Feeling slightly hungery she went off into the bushes to try find a compy....

Steeltalon went through the forest at a slow pace, rubbing up against trees and undergrowth where the old borders were, reclaiming the land that had belonged to her parents. Her scent would be strong here, a warning to enemies and a haven for her friends. Soon she caught up with Sandstorm and gestured for him to follow her, rubbing her chin against a tree fern.

Sandstorm nodded and followed Steeltalon, he carefully marked her path in his mind memorizing the border. He didnt dare touch and any of the points that Steeltalon had, remembering how protective she had been even to Darkness he decided this was for the better.

Shadow leaf yawned peacfully, watching Steeltalons hatchlings as they wrestled about. She laid her head down again but kept one eye on the hatchlings, watching over the.

Soon enough, Steeltalon finished marking the border and turned her head to look at Sandstorm. She was about to ask him about Darkness' past, but then decided against it and started rubbing her scent along another border. Hopefully he would take the glance as a signal to stay close and not wander off.

Darkness staggered through the jungle, unable to keep himself walking for much longer. His breathing was heavy, his limp still as bad as before, if not worse. Darkness pushed through some dense plants, arriving at a clearing and cave he had not seen before. He continued his walk to the other side, the scent trail suddenly gone. Darkness's eyes widened and he slashed at a nearby plant, his breathing worsening. He cursed to himself, collapsing onto the ground, unable to continue. Not without rest. Darkness let out a snarl of frustration, his head hitting the ground, out cold.

Sandstorm continued on watching everything, eager to see this new area, a glance from Steeltalon brought him back to his senses and he jogged up to her side muttering "Sorry" He glanced around once and decided exploreing could wait for another day

Raven's eyes widened as Darkness entered the clearing. He let out a bark, trying to get the message to Steeltalon, and immediately dragged Darkness into the cave. He ran out seconds after making sure the black raptor was still alive, scraping some moss from the base of a tree and dunking it in one of the streams. The gray raptor dropped the moss beside Darkness once back at the cave and leapt to a small ledge about five feet from the cave floor to watch over the male, so he didn't take a turn for the worse.

Steeltalon paused when she hard a bark, sounding like it came from Raven. her eyes glowed with brief joy when she heard the message; Darkness was at the cave, alive. She picked up the pace a little, marking the border a bit faster, wanting to see her mate again.

Shadow leaf jumped to her feet a the sight of Darkness, he looked injured aswell. She barked to Raven "Watch him!" and ran out, not really thinking that Raven would already do that. She rushed over quitely to the spinos corpse. Sure enough it was surrounded by compies. She took a few steps closer and then pounced out. The compies scattered squelling but she landed square onto ones back. It crumpled as its legs broke and she quickly picked it up in her jaws. and rushed back to the cave, droping the limp body next to Raven. She looked down at the pitch black raptor, worried for his health...

Sandstorm looked up hearing the bark. He instantly brightened up knowing that Darkness was back, he continued following Steeltalon quitely, eager to see his freind again.

by now, Blade was dying for a rest. he was barely standing. as Darkness collapsed, he gave up, deciding that, if there was any chance of going on, he'd need to be with Darkness anyway, as he was the only friend he actually had left now. he dropped to the ground, falling on his side, his eyes almost sealed shut out of exhaustion...

Fatalis had returned to the cave shortly before dawn, and slept. after a few hours of rest, he was up and active again, leaving the cave to find a Compy to eat...

Steeltalon finished marking the second border and glanced at Sandstorm, growling, "The river makes up the rest of the last border. Just make sure that whoever's patrolling there is careful. There might be crocodiles." She didn't know that there were, but it wouldn't hurt to be a bit cautious. She started heading back to the clearing that was her old home, as it was the heart of her territory.

Raven continued watching Darkness from the ledge, wondering how the black raptor got those wounds. He decided not to ask, however. If he knew Steeltalon, she'd ask shortly after her mate woke up.

Sandstorm nodded and started following her back to the clearing. The whole way around he hadn't smelled or heard any larger predators, this territory seemed alot safer than the caves near the game trail...

Softfoot crouched unseen in the undergrowth. Two compies were squabeling over a dead lizard infront of her. One of them was knocked to the ground and the other pounced on top of it. This was her cue. She shreiked and leapt through the air, the winning compy squealed and darted away as she landed on the already pinned one, killing it. She snarled and pinned the fleaing one with a clawed hand and draged it closer. she lifted up her hand and it scrambled to its feet, only to have a claw slam down on its neck, breaking it. She picked up the first one in her jaw and carried the other in her hand and walked over to a tree, laying down next to it. She dropped one compy at her side and started eating the other, feeling slightly hungryer after catching them.
