Mastermind E-war

Where good and bad RPGs and E-wars go to die.

The fleeing sentry, realizing it was now somewhat safe, decloaks and lands, before crawling around on the surface of the planet. It goes back from where it came, cloaking once more as it neared the edge of the forest, the computer A.I. wondering if it could escape the planet somehow with the Combine...

The space station's smaller laser turrets lock onto the cruisers and fire at them, small, precise beams of blue energy focusing on the cruisers, the EMP launchers also aimed. The teriminator cannon slowly begins charging again, currently at 5% charged...

"The great Kroot Empire offers you this Ultimatum, alien beings: Join us in our conquest, or die beneath our might." the message was sent to the inhabitants of the system, making no effort to hide the source: One of the many scout drones hovering in space, giving no indication of the settlement on the volcanic planet...

"Such bold talk" The Hai'Orakian voice was electronically distorted and seemed to drone on some syllables. "What purpose do we have to a legion such as yourself?" Was the question posed by the race of unnatrually pale aliens.

"The Hai'Orak have heard such delusions of grandure before. They never hold true. Why should we regard you as any different" The leaders of the colony replied as ships started to make their way into the inner system. The newcomers came without any signiture of a large scale craft. That means they entered discretely and were situated somewhere close to the colonized planet to have made contact in a relatively short time. The Orakian ships started scanning for energy signitures that could betray the location of a base.

The cloaking field in place on the volcanic planet did well to make things appear as normal, though the various scout drones in space were not shielded. "You may take our word for it, or we may demonstrate it to you. Unfortunately, you won't be around much longer after the latter. Choose."

"Then what is your ultimate goal? Perhaps we can find common ground there" Was the next message sent to the Kroot, the ships sent to find signs of infiltration now in orbit around the colony as they couldnt find anything with broad scanning. Several scout ships were deployed, the crafts themselves being long, slender and made of a strange purple metal that didnt react to a variety of scanning equipment. Closed digital communications reduced the chances of the craft being detected while sending messages back to the larger ships. A recurved triangular wing stretched down the length of the craft on either side behind the cockpit, and running along the back of the ship were pointed spires leaning towards the craft's aft. The ships headed off towards the other planets in the inner system, leaving a trail of orange vapor from their engines.

The sentry marches along on the ground, a small gun coming out from it's base pointing forward, basically stationary. It stayed cloaked as it slowly trudged onwards, guarding itself with just the automatic gun.

Amanda had been sent after some time to monitor the engineers working on the colony, whilst Harrison went to go meet their platoon after a moment. Morris sat in his chair on The Savannah's bridge, watching multiple monitors infront of him while crew worked to get the ship back into the air...

The din of electric guitars rang through the multi coloured halls, the expedition marched on wards, stereo held high. Flared jeans. bandannas embroiled with flowers. Conversation in slurred spaced out voices. Hippies. The air lock slid open with a loud hiss, the old tourist operator's sticker still left on the door. A single sign hung down from the roof above it, coloured in meticulous pink pen, with a little flower doting the 'i'

"Nirvana"

An almond shaped craft rolled slowly out of the gargantuan mass of the Party. Tiny puffs of gas propelled it clear of the tangled ships and metal plating, away from the space walkers playing a form of volley ball near the air locks. Another puff and the craft stopped rolling, level. Flowers swam down it's sides, yellow and green bubbles happily adorning it's metallic flank. The ship hung in space, suspended like a mysterious rock, before it's 4 rear engines suddenly pulsed into life with a flash of blue. The Nirvana surged forward.

Frayjin pulled back the throttle quickly, not having intended to accelerate so fast. He recollected himself, adjusting his head band and staring forward through the Nirvana's main console, imitating a window on the bow of the craft. He narrated to the bridge randomly "The way... man"

Hippies were strewn across the bridge, most having been knocked over during the acceleration, random items left spinning around on the ground. A blob, somehow wearing a poncho, made a strange clicking/gargling noise at one side of the deck, a woman sitting cross legged next to it nodded in agreement, saying "You've got it dude.. that's it..."

Another human stood bracing against a railing near some of the consoles, holding up his joint and agreeing "Yeah man the blobs got it, we gotta stop the war dude" A chorus of yeah man's mumbled across the room. It was the eighth time they'd come to this conclusion in the last 2 hours.

OOC:
The Nirvana looks like this painted like this with Nirvana written across the side in pink
If anyone can maybe recolour it for me? That'd be awesome.

“Apex Azimuth, you are cleared to enter landing zone four. Watch for a Saab 340 coming in parallel to you on zone five,” came the growling voice of the Raptavus space traffic controller over the radio. “Copy that Proxima, cleared to land,” the King Air responded in a female voice, though there was no visible pilot in the cockpit. The plane banked to the right, though her control surfaces didn’t move. Instead, she used small maneuvering jets on her nose and tail to line herself up with the landing zone. She drifted closer in almost complete silence, her twin turboprop engines cold, propeller blades folded back against the nacelles. The lack of wind made the trip even quieter, the hum of an electric motor the only thing the Sentient AI could hear as she lowered her landing gear in preparation for touchdown. By now she was close enough to see the dozens of Raptavi moving around the other aircraft inside the expansive bay, slightly distorted by a blue pulsating force field covering the opening. She could see the Saab the controller mentioned on her radar, and watched him for a moment. He was here for the same reason she was: supply and personnel transport. He was carrying a group of replacement Raptavi and supplies from their home airport, and would be carrying another group home who had been working here for the last two months. Getting close now, the King Air’s nose jets puffed once, slowly tilting her nose up just before her main gear touched down on a yellow-marked platform that stuck out beyond the bay. The momentum caused her nose to tilt back down and her nose wheel touched metal, the plane then rolling forward into the blue wall of energy with another puff of her maneuvering jets. Instead of hitting it, her nose went right through the field with a faint buzzing sound that echoed through her frame, and she began to slow down, now partially under the effect of artificial gravity. Instantly, a blue-striped Raptavus handler ran to the plane dragging a long metal tow cable and clamped it to her nose gear strut, signaling another by the opposite wall to begin winching her inside. No sooner did she clear the field then a group of young Dracavion lead by a single red-striped Raptavus filed out of a door on the side of the bay. They were of a small sub-species, and would not get much larger than the Raptavi, which she guessed was why they chose to fly to Epsilon Saicorus with her and not on their own in space armor. “Look who rolled in! It’s been a while, Azimuth! What do you think of the progress we’ve made on the station?” hissed the red-stripe. Something inside the King Air clicked and her stairway and cargo hatch locks released with a hiss of air, both sliding smoothly open. “It seems to be coming along very well, Dak. I see you’ve finally got bay ten up and running. Astounding work in such a short time. You never cease to impress me,” Azimuth said in her electronic tone while the Dracavion began boarding and loading their supplies…

OOC: I just realized that I forgot an "appearance" section to the individual profile. I've added it now to the template, those already involved don't have to add it to their existing profiles if they don't want to.

"Something is wrong...this is not how they're supposed to act." one of the Vespid engineers commented, shaking its helmeted head. The expedition leader nodded. "Prepare the optical veil. They might be delaying us as they mount an offense." it agreed, while the engineers got to work. "Our ultimate goal is to unite the galaxy and destroy all those who resist this true calling." the messenger responded after a few seconds...

"Interesting. The Hai'Orak goal is to further our development as a species and society" Was the next message to be sent to the Kroot. "If what you say about your kind is true, then perhaps the means for Orakian kind to advance may be partnership"

The expedition leader froze, taken off-guard by the statement. He didn't know whether to be suspicious or amused. "You must swear your race into the Kroot Republic. And I should remind you that trickery will only hasten your demise, should you try it."

Rukh awoke from his meditation, as is sensing a disturbance.

"Is something wrong?" Master Liin says.

"I... sensed something." Rukh replies.

"Worry not. It is natural to be surprised with your first empathic reading."

"So what are we to do first?"

"We shall try mind reading first."

Rukh rises and Liin stands beside him.

"Are you ready?"

"Yes."

"Then let us begin."

"The Hai'Orak is above trickey, Kroot. What good are words if they have no value of trust?" Was the Orakian response before another brief pause. "Yes, then... by order of the Mailru, the Hai'Orak hereby declare our partnership with the Kroot Republic." Was sent to the alien beings, the leader of the strange race being informed and understanding the happening in less than a minute...

Some distance from the Party, a fleet of space ships hover over a giant planet, which had only recently been colonized. A scout ship flew past the mass of vehicles and metal, the crew in the ship looking at it with awe, before turning towards it...

The Nirvana suddenly blazed past the scout ship, carrering from side to side.

"Whoa..."

The woman spoke again, nodding her head and smiling, eyes closed "That's a spirit, man"

"Yeah man"'s mumbled through the bridge again. Frayjin straightened up and inhaled deeply before ordering to nobody in particular "Ok dudes lets turn it up..."
An insectoid by a console near the left side of the bridge flipped a few switches before turning up the amplifier, a mechanical whirring sounding through the craft momentarily, before suddenly trance music started blaring out of the bridge's speakers.

A large antennae shot out of the craft's hull, sliding out of an angled panel and unfurling. It was the ship's primary com array, designed to send high priority burst transmissions, right now, it was broadcasting the music across most of the radio spectrum at high amplitude, effectively jamming most radio communications for thousands of miles around the ship.
