The Hornet answered sharply "Intrusive and over the top. I was practically blinded by the amount of sensors crammed into that thing. your lucky I don't get migraines " The machine concealed a hint of humour in the sentence, savouring the moment to show off the fact that he was no mere functional machine, that he had an evolving mind which could easily comprehend emotions.

"Sense of humour!" The scientist exclaimed. "Such is a missing charm of robotics lately. Now its all 'Who can carry the biggest gun? Who can cause the biggest explosions? Who can break into the most secure bank?'. A robot with emotions might be the most human thing on this planet in our day and age...a sad fact indeed" There was a ding, a triangular light with its apex pointing down lit up bright green. It was over an elevator door, which slid open. "Guests first?" Said the man...

the glow of the sand sculpture slowly ebbed as it cooled. after several minutes, the statue finally lost it's heated glow, leaving a golden glass statue in the garden, red streaks lining it's wings, crystaline eyes shimmering in the light of Ira's still ignited phoenix, it's large primary wing feathers tinted a rich shade of sky blue, the glass around the tail tinted likewise, forming what looked like blue flames as a base with tongues of gold and red flames rising from it around the statue. the phoenix's head was decorated with several long, silvery feathers, and it's tail, on closer inspection, was designed like a peacock's, with several eyespot markings. sadly, in darker lighting the details would be difficult to see due to the transparency of most of it, but in daylight, it'd glow richly and would be mistaken for a living phoenix if not for it's silent, stationary state. "And there's your phoenix" said Gaara as he waved a hand casually towards the larger than life statue, standing at 8 feet high and with an impressive wingspan and area, the statue perfectly supported by the base...

"Wow. 'Impressive' would be a massive understatement." Ira let herself take in the full detail of the statue, reaching out to trace one feather with her fingertip. Her flame phoenix let out a twitter, settling on Ira's shoulder and starting to sing happily, as if it approved.

Three fireballs were launched at the hero in rapid succession, melting the incoming projectiles before exploding against the building in various places, engulfing the area in torrents of heat. The dragon's body began to heat up, its armor glowing red for a few split seconds, the acid evaporating from its arm within seconds. Havoc slid to a stop, having already moved to attack, but was now hesitating, seeing the creature's new state...

Elsewhere, in the depths of Central Park, a blazing light suddenly burst into existence, illuminating the surrounding area, quickly drawing the attention of nearby people, though they were unable to see the center of the light, the sight too painful to look at for more then a few seconds...

The Hornet stayed where he was, replying "Guests tend to die first too."
After a short pause, looking the coated scientist up and down, he added "...But ya guests firsts." And stepped in.

The man said nothing, only smiled as he stepped in aswell. The door slid shut behind him. He turned to a panel of buttons, each numbered like in any elevator, except for the amount of buttons. He pressed the milky white button labeled in black "TF". It stood for training facillity, and the elevator descended deeper into Nexus silently...

SpeedFreak turned into a blur as he bolted forward, leaping just at the edge of the building. He flipped as he passed over head, throwing the bricks in his hand down at the dragon. He felt waves of heat hit him as the fire balls slammed into the building he was just on. "Ill need to take care of that..." The hero thought, hearing the crackling flames. As his body righted in the air, he slammed onto the side of the building across the street, grabbing onto the ledge of a windowsill to stop him from falling. He then planted his feet on the wall. "Well?" Galaak asked. "Is it time to do something...'rash'?" SpeedFreak replied "Hold on a bit longer!"

After a few moments, the Hornet began playing elevator music through his broad speaker, looking around innocently.

As the creature readied another fireball, it suddenly swung around, blasting Havoc mid-lunge out of the air, the symbiote smashing into the ground a few yards away, disappearing behind a partially destroyed car. A stream of flames spewed out from the dragon's maw, setting the entire car alight, the flames soon reaching the gas tank, causing a large explosion that rocked the entire block. The creature watched the smoldering wreckage, steam slowly rising off its now blazing hot armor...

As the light began to fade, many of the onlookers immediately sought out its source...but found only scorched earth at the center. Disappointed, many who were trying to contact the (very busy) police simply gave up, deciding it wasn't worth the hassle. Besides, these strange incidents weren't exactly uncommon anymore. One particular man stuffed his hands in his pockets and began to walk away, just as a grayish limb stuck out from a nearby bush, tripping the man. The man fell, and as he did, he blacked out, his unconscious form dragged quickly behind the foliage...

"Son of....a b*tch" SpeedFreak muttered, shaking his head. "...I think its time for something rash..." He said after he tapped the headset. Galaak wordlessly got to work. SpeedFreak thought that the ship's turrets would have appeared. What he got instead took him completely by suprise. A hydrant down the block exploded, the red metal flying off its base as a torrent of water forced its way to the surface, obviously caused by the Ascatian's power. The column of water arced over and came crashing down onto the dragon, a sharp hiss of air sounding off as white smoke billowed into the air, excess water raining over the flaming buildings about the street...

The elevator came to a stop a few moments later, a ding sounding off. The door opened, and the elevator music flowed into the large, suprisingly quiet room. Personnel looked up from what they were doing, glanced to the elevator, eyed the android for a few seconds before going back to what they were doing. Word had travelled fast about the new member of the Nexus team. The scientist had a wide grin on his face as he stepped out of the elevator. "I think they like you!" he said as he stepped into the room. Like the hallways, this room had clean white tiled floors and metalic walls. Sound proof. Large glass windows allowed an over head view into various test chambers and training excerises. One such excersie was the one the cyborg was going through now. Deviant stood in the middle of a chamber. The entire thing was metalic and bare. This was a close quarters combat simulator, no cover, no mercy. The walls had dents in them. On the ground were the scattered remains of the treaded drones, several parts still moving with whirs, tumbling over other piles of parts. "Third stage: Cleared" A voice said over a loud speaker. "Fourth stage: Engaging"

Part of the wall slid out and was raised by a large hydraulic arm. From the opening, came a human sized drone. It was armed with heavy weapons, something beyond what the average thug and criminal would have. Mounted on one arm was a heavy fire automatic rifle. On the other was a launcher of some sort, tripple barreled. It launched needle like charges that could magnetize. Padded or metalic armor didnt deter the explosives. The black paneled drone's eyes lit up, a fiery orange. Clicks sounded off as its various sensors activated. Then came its rappid foot falls as it charged at the blue armored man, who quickly launched himself into a dive as he saw the robot raise its rifle, shots going off with bright flashes every time a bullet left a barrel, which were mere seconds apart...

The dragon turned its attention to the water, mouth opening as another jet of flames shot forward, engulfing the hydrant itself, the metal melting easily under the intense heat, effectively cutting off the water's exit point, the hydrant now a shapeless ball of melted metal. A warbling shriek sounded behind it, Havoc smashing into the dragon head on as it turned, axe blade stabbing into its chest armor, causing the dragon to shriek back at the symbiote, which once again roared in pain...

Some of the water that pooled around the dragon suddenly rose up in twisting columns. Controlled freezing sent ice chunks flying into the dragon and symbiote from all directions, while water scattered from the fight was launched into flames that still burned, demonstrating the alien's skill, derived from years of practice...

The heat radiating off the dragon partially melted the ice as it neared, reducing the damage. Havoc himself pulled his axe blade free, kicking off against the dragon's chest in an attempt to put some distance between them, the heat annoying the symbiote. The dragon shrieked again, now aware that the noise effected the alien creature in such a way, before a torrent of flames shot toward Havoc, the symbiote barely leaping out of the way in time...

"Weaponry protocols initiate" Galaak said in Ascatian. The soft mechanical hums sounded off as panels shifted on the craft's cresent wings. The turrets raised, two gray reticules appeared on the ship's main screen, which was basically the windshield. At the lower right of the screen, lines of green symbols appeared. The two circles panned across the screen until they over lapped. They flashed red twice as they locked onto the dragon automatically, but didnt fire. Instead of being directed by the craft's scanners, they'd be manually shot by the pilot to minimize damage to the surrounding area, though targeting was automatic. Sending the rest of the water at a particularly large blaze, the alien put his hands into the glowing sphere projected infront of him, bright spots appearing where his fingers were. Galaak made a gesture with them, the turrets unleashed orange orbs of plasma onto the dragon...

Meanwhile, SpeedFreak let go of the building, making a dash across the wall after Havoc. He jumped onto the street light he had been tackled off of, latching onto the arc over head. He then started to vibrate his body, the metal reverberation launching a sonic attack on the symbiote...

The dragon lept into the air at the sound of the weapons firing, the projectiles bolting underneath it, the creature spreading its wings to keep aloft, looking toward the source of the attack. Havoc, being some distance from the lamp post, was only slightly irritated by the attack, but knew that having two enemies that now knew its weakness in one area was suicide. Seeing that its primary enemy was distracted, the symbiote darted behind the flaming wreckage of the car, disappearing inside an alleyway shielded from view by the rising flames...

The orbs of super heated matter blew crators into the asphalt. Galaak stopped shooting, wincing. "Interstellar law...broken...weaponry damaging property, haven't established formal contact with this world's government... revealing my pressence...I've made a mockery out of sector 13...even If I do get interstellar, my standing in the galactic alliance would be tarnished if they found out...or worse...they'll reassign me to a sector even more forlorn than this one...oh the Ascatination!" he muttered in his native tongue. The craft nosed upwards and shot off after the dragon, maneuvering in ways it couldnt dream of, the turrets swivelling to lock onto it again...

SpeedFreak dropped from the street lamp, landing in a crouch that he stayed in for a while, breathing hard. If this kept up, he'd be absolutely exhausted by dinner time, assuming he hadnt dragged himself home and passed out on his bed...

The dragon, annoyed, flew into a nearby alley, almost too small to fit even the creature itself, navigating recklessly through the tight passage. Its original enemy was no where in sight, and now these meddlesome creatures were hunting it...

The craft suddenly stopped dead in the air. There was no possible way he could shoot without causing severe damages. Galaak let out an almost primal growl from deep in his throat out of frustration. He looked to another screen. The bio-signs from the symbiote was retreating. So was that of the dragon. After a moment, he opened communications with the speed gifted hero "Time to regroup. You know the place" He said.
"Ill be right there-" was the boy's reply, cut short by the sound of screeching tires. Then came the words "Freeze!" Thats when the boy yelled "Jesus, Herman CHRIST! How late could you people possibly be?! Do you like it when others do your jobs for you?!"
"I said freeze damn it!" The voice shot back, obviously angry.
"Right, right, Ill-" SpeedFreak began, rappid foot steps audible on the other end of the conversation making it clear the hero had run off. With that, the craft cloaked, disappearing from view, turning back to the woods...

Gaara smiled. "Now you have a decoration to remind you of your little performance here whenever you look into the garden" he said. "Now...shall we go inside?"...

Ira nodded, turning away and starting for the door. She couldn't help glancing over her shoulder a few times, as if by going inside she would end some vivid dream and wanted to burn this into her memory. Yoruichi was right behind her, expressing her own awe with a quiet "wow".
