OoC: Wow, I was just reading back a little ways. Looking at KP's post. It is rather understandable that the Imperial Red Dragons may have been rather strict. I certainly would not want to be Inferno.

A young falcon flew along the horizon. He was scouting the huge grasslands for prey. He noticed a huge structure with smoke coming out of it below him. Green skinned creatures walked back and forth and came in and out of the structure. The Falcon flew on past in case they decided he would make a nice meal. He feared those creatures. A little further on he heard loud squealing noises, looking down he saw 7 huge dragons feasting on Warthogs and boar below him. Their squeals died down quickly though and so the Falcon continued to fly off. He certainly did not want to suffer the exact same fate those pigs suffered...

Redeye was flying over the land. He let out a roar and flew on faster. "Wheres something good to eat around here?" to his luck he found a unicorn "Heheheee..." He flew down and dug his talons into the Uni's skin. He killed it and flung it into the air. He roared as he snapped it up and swallowed it whole. "Tasted good"

Hydras entered the area that was destroyed by him. He thought "Now what!?" The 2nd head thought "I smell...unicorn...fresh smell." He saw the unicorn trot down the path os destruction. "We can use this..." The 3rd head hissed sinersterly. He ran through the trees still standing until he past the Unicorn. He stepped on and snapped a twig but he kept moving, fearing the Unicorn will see him past if he stopped. He got to the tip of blood rose valley and rubbed his back on some trees, leaving his smell. The sound of the Unicorns trot will surely confuse the humans into thinking that the Unicorn was the 9 headed beast while Hydras lived lik nothing had happened.

OoC: In case any of you are wondering, Garroth is a Lance Commander, a rookie in charge of other rookies.

Garroth knew the Orcs would've seen the fire and destruction of their precious pig farm. But that would be good, cutting off their food supply would help, Orcs would not be able to fight well on fatigue. That would be a major factor in their downfall. The dragons had learned how to take out a foe, first by normally poisoning their water (their bites are poisonous but not to other dragons) or food supply or removing that altogether. This could give them a huge advantage in any battle. And they were all just rookies, same with Garroth. Though Garroth was Lance Commander, not any of them had been in a real battle like this before. They had been trained against each other which hardly ever resulted in death (normally until one faints or is knocked out by the other, usually they would have rules on how a fight would be laid out) and they had never been in an invasion or war. Still now they were going to be in a fight but it was going to be a quick one. Garroth looked at the Orc Stronghold, something like that surely would take more than 3 days to level to burning timber. He wondered why not at least give them 5 days. But Acacius specifically said 3 and so 3 days it would take. If they returned in failure, there would be severe punishment but nothing resulting death luckily. Possible banishment was likely. And they would be outcasts. This was serious business. Garroth needed this to go right...

the next day, in the fiery pits of the Black Mountain, a large red Dragon took off. Inferno had left his lair and started flying off to the Red Emperor's cave, to meet with him for his coming lesson. he made a point of flying over the BloodRose valley while he was at it. anyone who asked him would be responded with the need to stretch as a reason behind the slightly longer path...

Fieras awoke, hunger the reason. her last meal was a small horse, which was less than filling. she thought of the Dragon she wanted to see more than any other. Inferno. the literal Dragon of her dreams. it was his presence that made her ask her father to let her join in the lessons. it was for him that she chose to join in the lessons. she went to the entrance of the mountain top cave, the cold breeze whipping against her scaley form, as she stretched, before taking off. he began to roam in search of something to satisfy her hunger...

Morning, Garroth and the others had awoken after a good sleep. It was bright light today. A few clouds hung in the sky but a good bit of weather was nice. Garroth had already planned out their attack formations and battle strategies so there was at least one or two that could fall back on or refer to if in dire need which was unlikely. Borgus, a green dragon who had a horn that stuck out in particular flew off first, he was rather a brutish type that acted without thought. Magnar rose up, she flew alongside Borgus. She was speedy and swift which made up for her strength. Next was Fergus, he was silent and stealthy. Sacrus glide upward with a gentle force of the wind, she was one of the few that was usually gentle and a rather one that socialized a lot, that was going to change. And finally there was Mallis, he usually kept to himself a lot. Garroth was not into really knowing so much about the lives of his dragons but still knew a little bit about them each. He took off after Mallis and joined the others and took lead...

The unicorn finally arrived at Bloodrose Valley to find that it was deserted. There was no sign of a unicorn anywhere. Where did they all go, he thought and scanned the area. The scent of roses entered his nostrils, but he ignored the smell and ventured deeper into the valley, looking for any sign of a unicorn. Still, he was no sucessful. Did the humans...No, Inferno said that there are unicorns around...but where? Where else would the unicorns go?

Garroth flew up in the lead while Borgus, Magnar and Fergus went a diagnol formation on the left of Garroth. Whilst Sarcus, Mallis and Jorvus (another i forgot to mention whom was like Borgus but preferred to use magic a lot) made a diagnol formation on Garroth's right. This formed an "Lance Phalanx". This was a good attack formation and it was also a basic one for some but complex for others. Garroth knew this was the best ideal phalanx for sieges...

Drionach sat quitely not talking to anybody. He was still waiting for word on the green dragons movements. However this wasnt the reason for his silence.... he thought back to so long ago........
[flashback]
He was getting a lesson with 4 of his freinds. Stimeak was also there, but he was sitting quietly away from the group. Another two dragons also sat tgether not to far away. Their mentor was droneing on about humans and demons and other bits of boring history. One of his freinds, a Silver royal by the name of Shimmerscale, hissed to him "Drionach! Who the hell is that other guy you came with today, Stimeak?" Drionach rolled his eyes and growled "Some orphan that my father has to take care of. He is really wierd and quiet." The two of them laughed quietly and got back to listening to their mentor. Stimeak had been living with him for awhile now, little did he know that this would be one of the most shocking days of his life. He and his freinds were going hunting, but the other three dragons had to go aswell. The four of them planned to lose Stimeak and the other 2 dragons. When they were flying through a tight mountain pass tracking some prey, Drionach gave the signall and they started flying their hardest. The four dragons burst out laughing as they sped away from the three other dragons. They turned sharply through another gorge. Barely able to contain their laughter. Then Drionach looked back to see Stimeak keeping pace with them, he was soaring above them going just as fast as them. He looked down at him and bellowed "You didn't think you could lose me that easy did you? If want to leave me lost in the mountains, you are going to have to be a bit more creative than that." Drionach was about to laugh at him and start making fun of him somehow when Shimmerwing shouted "When did you get that fast?" Stimeak made a roll leveling out with them. He shouted "Well you have never tried to out fly before now have you? So what makes you think I haven't been this fast for ages." Allirya a female silver imperial dragon roared "I geuss you got that right, so your name is Stimeak right? This is Shimmerwing and this here is lightning talon. " She gestured first at the male royal that had commented on his speed and then she gestured towards a female royal dragon. she roared "Im Allirya, and you already know Drionach obviously." Drionach shook his head in utter suprise. But this wasnt going to be the biggest suprise of the day.......

OoC: oooh I look forward to hearing more from the Silver Dragons. Keep it up Doc.

Immediately as the dragons flew over the Orc Stronghold, a huge horn sounded. It was a signal, the battle had begun. Warriors and Archers ran back and forth out of the camps into the watch towers or Stronghold. Garroth knew then the time to strike was now. Immediately he raised his hands (well claws actually) and white light brimmed from them. The other dragons did the same. They were casting magic! Garroth and the others casted their ability Ridge, a very basic Earth ability that caused a piece of land to be raised up. This would seriously damage structures, enemy units would be shaken but not too hurt. Immediately the ground shook as pieces of land were raised into what looked like a star shape with several ends pointing in out, came out from below the Stronghold, shaking it, causing it to be off balanced. Then suddenly the Archers began firing, a huge array of arrows flew up in the sky toward the dragons. The Lance Phalanx dived downward and they flew at the Orc Stronghold, ready to lay down the main phase of the assault...

Valroz was ready. he had gather an army of Imps. They weren't to dangerous, but he had a LOT of them. He led his army out of the Wastelands and to the Green Dragons' stronghold. On the way there he noticed a group of them attacking an Ork encampment. He grinned and growled, "Alright, let's rid of these ones first." He drew his flaming sword and pointed it at the encampment. He bellowed, "DESTROY THE DRAGONS!" The Imp army charged forward, firing guided arrows at the dragons.

Garroth and the others opened their mouths revealing flames that were getting larger. They were about to shoot acid flames from their maws. Immediately as they got close enough, Garroth and the others rose up into the air and shot acid flames down on the Orc Stronghold. The green flames did a lot more damage than they had expected. The acid flames were slowly eating away the metal material and other material on the stronghold. Not only that but it was catching on the grass and that spread across onto the other buildings, setting them aflame. This would turn out easier than they had expected. Garroth guessed then that they only needed 3 days in case they were just a bit slow at destroying the stronghold but this was going to be really easy. Suddenly out of no where, arrows fired from a distance away. Garroth saw that whoever they were they were not industrialists. They had not known about another foe. He knew they were imps. "Dragons, we've got company, its an army of Imps. They are coming to assist the stronghold! We have to destroy the stronghold and then leave!" Said Garroth in mind read to the others. "Garroth's right, this won't take long, once we are done we should make a quick retreat home. They won't be able to attack a Green Dragon home, that is suicide. Let's finish this pitiful Orc Stronghold off!" Replied Sarcus in mind read also. The others nodded and manuevering through Orc and Imp arrows dived back down and this time, shot acid flame breaths (not fireballs but like a flamethrower) and this time, they flew around and criss-crossed over and over the stronghold and around it. Sarcus then flew around and burnt the grass around the stronghold, forming a ring of fire. An inescapable path. Now this would cause serious confusion and terror among the orcs. Arrows eventually stopped firing from the orks. And suddenly came an explosion noise as the stronghold rocked and fell over from the ridges that had held it up and damaged it. And the rest of it began to burn away very fast. Garroth roared along with the others in victory. He saw the Imps were not far away. Quickly he and the others flew up and away dodging the arrows being fired. At least the mission had been accomplished and now the imps would not catch them...

Valroz bellowed, "After them! I want to spring my trap!" The Imps chased the dragons mercilessly, Valroz following close behind, and his trap, a Shade hiding an army of true Demons, behind him. he burnt the forest as he went along, to coax the dragons out. Every tree he touched burned into nothing but ash. Those he missed were shot at by the Imps with flaming arrows. The massive Demon was simply burning the entire forest into nothingness.

Garroth and the others picked up speed suddenly as a huge gust of wind caught them, sending them back their way home. Garroth knew the Imps could not outrun the dragons. They already over several enormous hillsides and cliff faces and far away from the Orc Stronghold but it still burned in the distance but the Orcs would be dead now. They could not escape. Borgus swerved around and used his acid flame to cause a huge wall of fire further up in case the imps would follow, then they would not be able to pass any further. Garroth knew they would get home shortly. Today was a victory...

Valroz spurned his troops ahead, the tireless creatures continuing. One of the dragons had made a wall of fire in front of them. Valroz laughed and the Demons and Imps simply walked through the flames, continuing to the dragon's home...

OoC: So you know Dinoman, Green Dragons do not live in caves. We live a long way and plus we are not tired either. It did not take long to burn down a simple stronghold. This is just to give you a heads up. Not backmodding here.

Garroth knew they were far away from the imps now. The imps were fast but the dragons were faster. They were not even tired after that small assault. They almost home now...

OOC: there, I edited it. But don't think I'm giving up without a fight!

The Imp army stopped. Valroz took himself and several Elite Demons to track down the Dragons from the air.

OoC: Good luck though, cause the Green Dragon's home is a looong way. And you would die instantly if you were to venture right into their territory. So I would just advise that you you should retreat. Valroz will die. I'm not lieing in this case.

Garroth and the others were now entering their territory. Here they would be protected. Not even the Indusrialists or Demonic Empire would dare enter it. Even an imp army was no match for dragons. Even one like Acacius would easily mow down their army. Garroth and the others flew through 8 huge towers made of granite (set in rows of two) with green flames in them, there was ones below that on ground level, signifying anyone that they were entering dragon territory...

Ooc: Come on, just a couple dragon and Demon casualties before I retreat?

Valroz and his Elite Guard caught up with the flying dragons and called to them, "Die, dragons!" He aimed his firey bow at one of them and prepared to fire. However, upon seeing them enter their territory, he retreated. He had better plans for them...

OoC: Alright, but i'll make your Imps deaths really painful.

Garroth saw arrows firing. The Imps were catching up. He then realized they must have magic they are using. "The imps are using magic to catch up with us, we'll have to fight them. But we'll raise the alarm." Hissed Garroth out loud. The others nodded. Then suddenly Garroth looked up and let out a roar that sounded like a horn of some sort. It was loud and it spread across the area. He knew that it was a disress call. The Green Dragons would all know and they would come. It was one tactic Green Dragons used if an enemy came into their territory. It would only take a few minutes before the entire dragon army was upon the imps. Garroth and the others flew up to a hillside. And then they flew in a loop and came shooting down from the sky back at the the imps. "Last chance Imps! We have ignored your attacks on us. That is a good enough sign to mean for you to leave us be in peace! And to not get involved in dragon business! Now flee or the whole garrison will be descending upon you as i speak. Leave now! You will loose this fight!" Roared Garroth out loud. This would be their final warning...
