Orion waited for Damarian to come...and waited. He started to pace around out of boredom, his lion's tail flicking back and forth, his dark red eyes watching everything around him. There was a ripple in the water caused by a frog and a swoop of a bird as it went to another tree. The unicorn snorted in frustration. Where was Damarian? He always came to visit. What could be going on with him? He remembered back to their conversation about a female elf and rolled his eyes. "Probably spending more time with her. Well then, fine. If he wants to spend some time with some female, then I say let him." Orion wasn't really ready for a mate or female companion of any type. He liked to be alone, most of the time. The only thing that really bothered him was that there were no unicorns in this god forsaken forest. "Where did they all go?" His eyes traveled to his reflection in the water. Those same dark red eyes were looking back at him. He dipped his gold and silver horn in the water, feeling like making it shiny and wet. After that, he walked around in circles and lay down. There was still no Damarian. Orion was getting really frustrated about all of this. He decided to travel east to Alcyeria. This forest was next to Alcyeria, the home of the elves. He only went there once, and that was over five years ago. Damarian wanted to show him the elven city...

Valroz smirked. He knew that would happen. He roared back at the dragon, "That was just to get your attention, fool! It's not like hitting me with your fire-based weapons will do anything! Come and get me!" He eyed the dragon carefully, waiting until it got in close to attack.

One of Hydras' head peirced the mud. It looked around. He thought "We should leave. We havn't found anything to eat in 2 days!" The main head agreed and Hydra dug out of the mud. He got up on 2 legs and sen his 2nd and 9th head to look ahead for prey because they were the ones with the best eye sight. " There is some prey over there, looks like an elf, " Hissed the 2nd head. The 9th head said, "Yes, it is an elf..." Hydras made his approach towards the elf. The main head said, "lets have some fun with his morsel...." Hydras hid his body in the forest and spread his heads over and around the elf. The main head bagan speaking "Lossssssstt? I can tell you how to get out....for a pricssssssssssssee. The elf turned and said "WHO ARE YOU!" He pulled out a hatchet. The 2nd head joined in. "Dont..be afraid....we are friendsss. Go North and youll be out of the forest, happy, fafe and sound of mind". The main head argued "NORTHSSSS?! GO SSSSSOUTH!!!! NORTH WLL SEND YOU INTO THE HYDRASSSS MUD PIT!!!!!" Confused the elf was oblivious to the 3rd head who swallowed it whole.

Mortus roared"So be it!". he prepared a spell, his hands glowing blue, as he flew right at the Demon...

Valroz flew straight up, dodging the Dragon's charge.

Stimeak was standing next to the cave entrance, the cool wind was relaxing him. He laughed when he saw that the two beings were contineing their fight below. Even with his great eye sight he could barely make them out. He tilted his head around and growled "Neltharion? Have have you perfected the ice spell I tried to teach you?" A few days ago He had given him an interduction to some small spells. One of the most usefull being a spell to instantly freeze water. He had used it many times for differnt reasons and felt it would be a handy spell for the dragon to learn. Also it wasnt going to prove overly dangerous to anything if Neltharion messed up.

Mortus beat his wings powerfully, launching upwards as he neared the demon, who had dodged his previous charge. as he neared him, a blue beam erupted from his hands. it was a draining beam, and it was obviously starting to effect the demon, whose fire-based body was a source for Mortus' power. as it weakened, Mortus became stronger...

Valroz began to eaken because of the dragon's beam, but he wasn't done with him yet. He flew straight down, catching his adversary and plowing him into the ground. He flew back up and prepared for another attack.

Neltharion was dumbfounded, but snapped out of it quickly. I think so... he bellowed, reviewing the lesson in his mind. Did Stimeak want him to cast it? So soon?...

Stimeak thought for a few seoconds. Near the ice wall at the back, a small puddle had developed where the ice had been melted away from the dragons activity. Stimeak nodded and growled "See that puddle? Charge the magic in your hand like I showed you. Use your emotions, get angry at the puddle. Then I want you to freeze the top layer of it. Just simpily wipe it with your hand and see how it goes." To demonstarte Stimeak reached out to the damp wall and wiped it with a glowing hand. when he took the hand away. The wall shined where tiny bits of water had frozen. He wanted to test not only Neltharions magical ability, but also his self confidense and will power.

Neltharion nodded and focused on the puddle. Soon, his hand began to glow. Neltharion was proud of himself, almost loosing focus. He waved his hand over the puddle, the top layer freezing slowly. Neltharion looked back at Stimeak, expecting praise from his teacher.

Stimeak smiled suprised that it had frozen, he expected it to just get cold but not to completely freeze. He patted Neltharion on the head and growled "I told you that you could perform magic. This particular spell is one of the most usefull ones you can learn. you would be suprised what how much use's there are for each spell. Think about what else you could accomplish by being able to freeze water. Im going out side for a while" Yawning Stimeak left the cave and padded up a bit. He lay down in the snow and checked the surrounding moutains for activity. The two beings he had seen earlyer were still fighting. He laughed slightly, wondering why they would come here of all places to fight and he he started watching the mountains again.

Mortus snarled as the Demon slammed him into the ground. he rolled onto his legs, his wings closed and held tight, and then he spread them and beat them, launching himself upwards. he zoomed right past the Demon, whipping it in the face as he flew past it, knocking it back, before turning back and ramming it towards the ground, draining it's energy until it fell unconscious. he then cast a confusion spell, one of the few Psychic spells he had, to make it lose his trail. he then flew off, returning to his cave, knowing that the demon wouldn't be able to remember where he was, nevermind where Mortus had gone...

After a few minutes, Valroz got up, rubbing his head. He growled, "Ugh, where am I, what's going on?" He saw the Frozen Spire and, now that he knew where he was, flew back to the Wastelands and to Beliar.

Garroth saw the huge stone tower which rose high up. Here he saw the green dragons gathering. He flew as fast as he could and slowed when he got close and descended into a gentle glide before landing softly. He walked over to the others. A few more Green Dragons landed shortly after and headed on over to the others also. The green dragons had gathered in a semi-circle around one dragon in the middle. It was Acacius. He knew Acacius, not as a friend or family member but knew what the dragon had done. He was the one that forged the deal with the industrialists and demons but the deal had been broken by the Industrialists and demon empires and so they were after the Legendary Stone of Power and the Silverling Falls. Acacius began to speak to the dragons…

The black unicorn suddenly froze. A shiver went up his spine. He had the feeling that he wasn't alone in this forest. Of course, there were birds and other kinds of wild creatures living here but there was something else, something that could be dangerous. He couldn't exactly put his hoof on it though. "I should just get there as fast as possible." He increased his trot and kept his red eyes looking ahead. A twig broke, and he froze again. There was a rustle in the bushes. He snorted and side stepped a little. More rustling in the trees. What could it be? Then, a cry. His dark eyes widened at the sound of the cry. It was Damarian and he was close! Orion reared and was about to make a gallop for it, but then suddenly, some human rangers popped out from the trees and the bushes. They snickered and smirked and they held Damarian, tied up and bruised...

Hydras was still hungry. The main head hissed to the rest. "Keep alert, never know when prey might want to sneak by, unnotissssced...." Then an uproar was heard. The main head asked his 2nd head. " Why did the foressssst get so...uncomfortable?" The head responded. "Humans probably, they wouldn't make that much noisesss with out a reasssson. They would be much more sssstealthy." The main head said "Thisss will be their biggest mistake. Hydras ran to th site of the uproar. He burst out of the forest into a clearing where humans were attacking a uniocorn. The impact sent the trees flying. There was a small pack of humans. "Thissss will be more ssssatisfying thann an elf...." The 9th head hissed.

"ATTACK!" The main head roared as each of his 9 head attacked the pack of humans.

Inferno was gliding over the Bloodrose Valley, gliding over the forest surrounding it. he saw a small clearing where a large group of men, as well as a Hydra, were surrounding a Unicorn. "outnumbering the Unicorn and keeping it's friend at risk of death...well, let us return thet cruelty..." he grunted. he recognised the unicorn. in the many times he had flown over this forest, he had seen it with an Elf. upon closer inspection, he spotted the elf he remebered seeing, tied up, and bruised. he decided he'd let the Hydra eat the rangers, and the Unicorn and Elf he'd take. he dove in, a loud Roar echoing through the forest as he dove in from above. his claws locked on the unicorn's back, while his left hand closed around the tied up Elf. he then beat his wings powerfully, lifting himself up into the air, the downdraft so powerful the men were pinned to the ground. arrows followed him, but most missed. one went through the edge of his wing membrane, but it had happened so many times before it didn't even sting. he raised the Unicorn to his right hand, and looked at both of them...

Orion was about to attacking the humans, but then suddenly a Hydra appeared and started to attack the pack of humans. This couldn't be good for the black unicorn. There was now a Hydra and the humans! How was he going to get out of this? Then there was a loud roar and something red. Orion was about to run away from the red beast, but it was too late. It already enclosed its claws around his body, as well as take his friend. He snorted and started to squirm within the creature's claws. What if this beast was also looking for a meal? "Let me go," he hissed as he continued to squirm. When he got a look into the beast's face, he realized that this creature was a dragon! A huge, red dragon! Instead of trying to run away, he glared into the dragon's eyes. His friend was still tied up, but he didn't care about that at the moment. "What are you going to do next," he challenged.

"My brothers and sisters. We are gathered here for a reason. We each know that one reason. The orcs as we know have been making a mockery of our lands, destroying trees, burning them. Poisoning plants so they can hunt their precious livestock. As such we gave them warning like the Industrialists and Demonic Empires, but unlike them we gave them plenty of warning. The Orcs however have ignored us. They do not care for whate happens to this planet. They are blind to the bone and do not see the truth." Said Acacius walking back and forth talking to the dragons, stopping at one or more to look at them to perhaps make them nervous. He continued. "They have just laughed at us, made us look like fools, an embarrassement in all Dragonkind. The Dwarves at least have good reason. The Orcs will pay for their ignorance. You will head out there and raid an encampment of theirs, you may burn any of them you see. You may use your magic on them providing it is done swift and smoothly, otherwise you will become vulnerable. You may take their livestock and eat it or any orcs you see. Now, I know we should be concentrating on the bigger enemies out there like the Demons and Silver Dragons but at this moment, you must give the Orcs the message that they should learn to respect Green Dragons. The Orcs will otherwise continue to annoy us and then become an even bigger problem later." Acacius proceeded toward Garroth and spoke to him closely. And then quickly moved on. "Remember, do not waste time playing around! This is not training, this is the real thing. You will attack for 3 days in a row. That should be long enough to take out their encampment or at least do severe damage that it will be beyond repair. Good luck, and may the Ancients watch over you."

Acacius then bowed his head before Garroth and the others flew off into the sky to begin their quest...
