"So you like to play with fire?" Kerafrym boomed, smirking as he raised a clawed hand, the fire around his head zipping toward his hand as if called like a dog, suddenly engorging greatly. He flicked a claw forward, sending the enhanced fireball toward the wizard, which dwarfed the human in size...

The wizard threw himself foreward, yelling out as he desperately tried to find cover....

A cyan bolt of lightning sparked up from the other side of the town, striking the dragon on the wing, another bolt coming from the roof tops and hitting the dragon's leg... The wizards were trying to fustrate the dragon for now, trying to cloud its judgement...

Kerafrym swung around, closing his eyes briefly as the flames that ravaged the town snaked toward him in mid-air, coming together in a ring all around him. Opening his eyes and clenching his fist, the flames suddenly exploded out in all directions in a steadily growing ring of fire...

4 white robed battle mages were scaling the cities catherdral.... the leader looked down, holding onto his hook with one hand, letting the other rest for a minute or two... The ground was so far below.. completely blasted... He looked up at the beast causing it all... Another of those damned dragons... but this thing was more than average.... Much much more... He shouted out to the rest of his party "Knights! We continue! We do not have far to climb!" He quickly pulled himself up in a short jump, swinging his hand towards the side of the cathedral, a pin of pure white light appearing in his hand and stabbing into the stone.... The rest of the mages continued in a similar fashion, cloaks bellowing in the wind, their hoods drawn over the heads...

"Magic wielded by you vermin...It is a disgrace, seeing your poor grasp on its true ability!" Kerafrym boomed, able to sense the magic being wielded, but could not yet pinpoint the tiny creatures responsible. The dragon's massive tail slammed into the ruins of a burning home, causing it to collapse in on itself, the flames making it a deathtrap before the beast's tail finished it off. The town was in ruins...the massive beast had made sure to slaughter its residents, and now only the puny mages remained...

a pillar slowly collapsed, the lead battle mage looking up and seeing it. He roared down the tower "TAKE COVER!" and then leapt to the side, holding his hand out. The other mages doing the same. The pillar collapsed, crushing through the side of the cathedral flames licking out behind it. The rubble caught one of the battlemages, carrying him away from the building. He screamed out and then disappeared beneath the stone and dirt... plummeting down out of sight. A few tiles fell off the tip of the spire... They weren't sure how long it would last... that pillar had been supporting one corner of the massive structure... Their spell was of grave importance... The leader looked down, making sure the other 2 were safe before continuing up, the ledge they planned to work from barely 10 meters above them...

An orange arrow zipped up from one of the blasted streets..., stabbing into one of the titanic dragon's ankles... leaving a long orange chain behind, leading down to a mage riding a horse. He was cantering towards a well, unhooking his stirups and standing up on the saddle, as if preparing to jump off into the well, chord in hand...

Kerafrym laughed at the mage's attempt to subdue him, watching in delight as the ground in front of the mage's horse cracked, a geyser of lava exploding into his path, covering the well and all around it with lava, as well as burning the horse's hooves severely. The massive hybrid didn't do anything further, amused at the puny creatures' attempts to fend him off...

The battlemages finally reached the top, pulling themselves up and taking no delay in preparing their spell. One of them drawing cyan runes in the air, another taking ingredients out of a bag, while the last held his hands together, almost like he was in prayer.... This spell had to work. It was probably the most powerful spell used in their order....

Kerafrym's eyes brightened, sensing magic being drawn in great excess. Turning, massive tail knocking over yet another burnt building, the beast set his sights on the mages atop the broken building. "Not so good at hiding yourselves, even from an enemy like me?" the hybrid boomed, a laugh echoing darkly around the area, a sound that chilled even the darkest of beings to the bone. The dragon exhaled, sending a gust of flames toward the mages...

The battlemages leader looked up, seeing the torret of flames approaching them. Quickly he rammed his hand into one of his pockets, withdrawing a small blue stone. Instantly, the spell he had been forming was stored inside it, the stone taking on a blue glow. Without saying a word, he threw it to the mage drawing the runes, who caught it instinctively. Then the battlemage sprinted forward, leapt off the tower and let the fire engulf him, shouting out an incantation as he did so "Aretevo!" the massive jet of fire reached out, threatening to lick around the ledge, but then it withdrew, collapsing around the leader, the fire flowing into him from all around, engulfing him and burning him to ash but keeping the remaining mages safe....

Kerafrym laughed darkly at the sacrifice. "As if it matters!" he roared, swinging his massive arm at the ruined building, aiming for the lower part of the structure, attempting to bring down the entire building with one swing....

One battlemage finished his work, hoisting his hastily crafted totem into the air, made from the ingredients from the bag. It had a skull at the top, with a few magical items and herbs decorated around it. The other drew the last rune, pulling the mana stone their leader had given him out of his pocket. He whispered something to it, then crushed it in his fist, the runes dissappearing. He turned and threw his hand forward, opening it out, a blue arrow firing into the strange totem. The skull's eyes lit up with mana and then the battle mage roared loudly "Vampiro!" With that command, the spell took hold, twin blue beams blasted out of the skulls eyes, launching forward and snaking around the titanic dragon... A shockwave blew the two mages back, the totem now floating in place, mana being dragged into it from all around. the snaking blue tendrils split apart, attempting to cage the monster, its magic and its energy being sapped out of it... The totem was draining its very essence, trying to turn the beast into a mere mortal...

Kerafrym grunted, but soon another laugh sounded from his maw. Opening his maw wide, a gust of flames engulfed the top of the structure, the dragon well aware that it probably fed the totem as well. Ignoring his fast-depleting energy, the dragon lifted a hand carefully, pointing to one of the mages...Who suddenly shriveled to extreme levels. Despite its appearance, the spell was not fire based. The dragon had forced all the water in the mage's body to evaporate...which caused instant dehydration, swelled the body to a bursting point, which then caused its organs to be crushed. Kerafrym, happy with the unholy death, sent another gust of flames at the totem...

The tendrils only grow more intense, the totem glowing red hot, but not catching fire.... It began to shake, orange blasts of lightning shooting out of it as it dispensed with the excess magic it was asorbing...

The last Mage threw himself off the tower, flames engulfing the collapsing cathedral behind him... He was proud though. They had struck a major blow to this monster.... Well... He hoped they had... But he had one last trick up his sleve. All he had to do was cast a feather fall spell at the last moment and he would be safe...

Kerafrym winced, but he remained standing strong. Concentrating, the hybrid ceased all actions...while the entire burning town was stripped of its flames, which now snaked toward the behemoth, crawling up his legs before disappearing completely, slowly absorbing every bit of flames that ravaged the town...

The lightning continued to blast out of the totem, increasing in intensity... growing more and more powerful.... The tendrils continued to split, snaking around the entire Dragon's massive form...

As the tendrils increased their hold, the behemoth glowed brightly, the amount of heat radiating off of him enough to melt the nearby structures, his feet burning the ground he now stood on. Kerafrym opened his eyes, which were now a firey orange, lacking any pupils, the massive dragon forcing himself to lift his head, unleashing an earth-shattering roar. The town exploded. The flaming energies engulfed the entire town in a massive explosion, areas outside of the town blown apart by the shockwave the blast had created. In the core of the explosion, the heat let nothing survive, the structures not only destroyed, but obliterated. A massive crater formed where the dragon had stood moments ago, the town still caught in the blazing explosion...

a strange calm fell over the battlefield, the Industrialist fortress crushed and abandoned, the soldiers massacred, and the Allied Forces cleaning up what remained. Inferno flew high above the rest of the Dragons, his fiery fin protecting him from the chilling cold that accompanied such high altitudes. he scanned the ground for several kilometers in each direction, spotting nothing for now, apart from the next city in their tactical assault plan. diving back down, he pulled up at the last second, spreading his wings as he neared the ground, shooting forward at high speed, and flying over the fortress, his shadow covering it for a split second, as he began to beat his wings hard, slowing him to a stop and landing in front of the other Emperors. "So, Inferno? any retliation forces lined up?" growled Emperor Rutus in his typical irritable tone. Inferno shook his head. "As far as i can see now, our path is clear. but every second we delay, that changes. they could be marching to meet us as we speak. we need to hurry". Rutus nodded, and let off a booming roar, the Green Flight's forces immediately standing at attention and leaping into the air...
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"

"Well well well," growled Valroz, watching the dragons gathering in the distance. "On the offensive at last. Beliar will enjoy hearing this." He had marched out of the Wastelands, having not received any special orders to do anything, and had simply done what he most enjoyed doing: destroying everything in his path that wasn't Demonic. He had incidentally stumbled upon the fight that had been going on at the Industrialist fortress, quite entertained by the battle. He turned away from the rocky outcropping he was using as cover, having scouted up ahead by himself upon hearing the fighting, heading back to his army that waited several kilometers away...

"Even those without the ability to see the future can say that our next battles will get even more difficult to win..." Chronos growled, his expression once again of wisdom, as well as a slight sign of exhaustion. Soridormi bellowed an order to the rest of the golden flight, which rose into the air in unison, awaiting departure...
