One of Streamflower's ears had been badly torn in her fight. She smiled at Spottednose and meowed, "Then come on. The battle is won...Whitestar lost a life and Rushtail is dead." She laughed and added, starting to follow the Clan, "Whitestar'll think twice before he messes with us again!"

Spottednose removed his paw, showing his ear to be badly ripped. He mewed, "OK. Ow, that ear hurts..." He followed Streamflower.

"Don't worry, we'll get our injuries treated once we get back to camp," Streamflower mewed, flicking her own ripped ear. She bounded forward a few paces before slowing and running back to Spottednose, knowing her extra energy had to go somewhere.

Spottednose immediately bolted past Streamflower and ran to the ThunderClan camp. He meowed back, "Come on, slowpoke, I'm beating you!"

Streamflower sprinted forward, quickly catching up to Spottednose, while Shadowstar watched with an amused expression. "Slowpoke?" Streamflower mewed playfully. "I think not!" She put on a burst of speed, passing Spottednose and laughing. This was way more fun than laying around all day!

Spottednose smirked and jumped up to a ledge next to him and sped up, gaining on Streamflower and leaping, landing in front of her. He mewed, "Haha! I'm gonna win!"

Streamflower swerved around Spottednose, putting them at neck in neck. She smirked and leapt at a tree, kicking off and landing at the top of the ravine. Bounding from boulder to boulder, she reached the bottom and settled down, waiting for Spottednose.

Spottednose was going too fast and tried to skid to a stop, but collided with Streamflower, flipping head over tail and landing in a sitting position stunned.

Streamflower flipped onto her side. "If you're sure you won't fall down another ravine while I'm gone," she joked, standing and flicking Spottednose's shoulder with her tail lightly. She smiled faintly at him and padded through the gorse tunnel.

Streamflower chuckled to herself and picked up a squirrel, padding to her usual spot and settling down to eat.
Shadowstar stretched once the Clan was back in the camp, and those who had not gone on the attacking patrol were bursting with questions. "Was anyone killed?" one warrior called.
Lighfrost flinched. "Rushtail was killed," he meowed. "And Whitestar lost a life."
Yowls of triumph burst from the ThunderClan cats, but Lightforst slipped into the warrior's den unnoticed.
