Soon, the arguement between Cloudstripe and Sabrekit ended, the kitten walking over to his resting spot along with his sisters, being nipped in the ear by Stormkit, though he and Nightkit started sharing tongues, grooming one another, as they all lay in a cluster tired and exhausted from their day, the three kitten's eyes shutting in unison as they fell asleep. "Well, what did he do this time," Starclaw mewed, looking up at her drousy mate, waiting for him to lay with her. "The usual, he nearly burned another part of the forest," Cloud replied with a friendly hiss, yawning and laying down with Star, falling asleep wih her, sleepy from the day's events.

"There was one of our former clan mates" Snowstar growled, raising a paw and licking it a few times. "One that just wont give up. Then there were faces even older than him." He added before he ran said paw over and ear. He thought back to what he told his father about names, how they didnt matter. "If you dont mind, may I call you Violet?" He mewed, putting his paw on the wet rocky ground and giving his mate a level gaze. It had been so long since he called the brown tabby by that name.

Cloudhaze had gotten to work as soon as she heard her name called. She got Coldeyes to look over the sleeping leaders, telling him to wake them up if anything happened in their dreams. The blue eyed deputy complied, though he wasnt quite used to being told what to do by the medicene cat. "Dont make this a habit" He growled to the she cat, though she had no time to exchange banter. He simply sat in the Leader's den after that, monitering the white and black toms in silence.

Cloudhaze had prepped the nursery with the herbs she'd need to help the new queen give birth. She always found it funny, how toms seemed to only know their mates were expecting when the day finally came when the brood started to make their way into the world. By now, she had started to escort Heatherpelt to her place in the den. She'd be there for a while...

The half-forgotten name made Hawksight twitch in surprise. Violet...the name her mother had given her at birth...the name she'd given up when she'd been named a ThunderClan warrior. "I....yes. Yes, you may," she meowed. She gave a small smile.

Heatherpelt gasped as a sharp pain racked her body. She stumbled, but somehow managed to keep going until they reached the nursery. "I - I appreciate this, Cloudhaze," she stammered, clenching her teeth as another wave of pain attacked her.

Wraith smiled, returning the gesture appreciatively. "Thanks, Winter. i really appreciate it" he growled. "I'd better get back to the Clan. these days things have been getting too unpredictable for me to take a break" he grumbled with a somewhat defeated look. "You won't hold it against me?" he meowed as he looked up at Winterpelt...

"Of course not," Winterpelt meowed, giving the black leader's side an affectionate flick with her tail. "Duty calls and all that." She smiled, a knowing smile. "I think you'll find that when you wake, there will be good news waiting for you."

"We were so young when we first met. When I think about it, I cant help but chuckle at the thought of a frost-furred cat keeping another warm in the snow" Snowstar growled, smiling as well. That day was so long ago, yet he remembered it with vivid detail.

Cloudhaze moved Heatherpelt to the nest she had readied and mewed pleasantly "Just doing my job, just like your job now is to stay strong for these kits!" As she waited for Heatherpelt to settle in, she got to the pile of raspberry leaves and started to chew a few into a poultice

"After what we've seen so far, i need some good news" he growled with a thankful smile. "I hope i see you again soon, Winterpelt" he finally meowed...

Hawksight chuckled. "Who would've dreamed my mad dash to warm the Clans of the Twolegs and their monsters would lead to everything that's happened since," she meowed, a faint trace of wistfulness in her tone. "Sometimes I wish we could go back...things back then were simpler."

Heatherpelt barely managed to nod determinedly before an even worse pain made her jaws open in a soundless wail. She knew from her time as a medicine cat that the kits were just about ready to come into the world. Great StarClan! Now I know what all those queens I looked after went through! she thought with grim humor. She could hear the sounds of Lightstorm pacing anxiously in front of the nursery entrance, the white tom wanting to be there for his mate but not daring to go inside until it was all over.

Winterpelt let out a purr. "Of course you will," she meowed. Maybe sooner than you think, she thought, as the dream-world and her form began to grow blurred. "Take care, love. I'll let you know if - or rather, when - Tigerclaw tries something."

Wraith nodded with a smile, growling "Remember to inform Starclan of our discoveries in the Dark Forest...We can use as much advice as we can get right now" he growled finally as everything faded, the black bengal tom sad to leave, but knowing he had a job to do....

The Leader's eyes fluttered open, Wraith rising to his feet and looking around, seeing Snowstar still sleeping, and Demontalon having woken up...

Demontalon was staring down at her paws, expression unreadable. Even Sunstorm's worried about Tigerclaw...he told me to stay close to Auburnpelt. And he wanted me to keep an eye on Thunderheart and Blazeheart. The fur on her shoulders twitched in response to her unhappiness. I'm just one cat. And much as I dislike it...I'm still afraid of Tigerclaw... She let out a quiet sigh, noting out of the corner of her eye that Wraith had stood up. Snowstar was still asleep...probably talking to Hawksight.

Snowstar smiled a bit wider, though the thought that the murderous clan he was faced with now was forming and gaining power in those days made him uneasy. He dared not show it, not wanting his mate to worry, but at the same time he knew she'd want to know. "Things...werent so simple back then, Violet" He mewed. "Our current problem started a long time ago. Its only now did they reveal themselves..."

Cloudhaze quickly gave the birthing cat the poultice and mewed "Push when you feel the greatest pain!" She froze for a moment when she realized Heatherpelt already knew what to do. A medicene cat helping a former medicene cat give birth. Was this a first for the clans? She pushed her thoughts away, focusing on the task at paw

"So, she's....uh..." Fogcloud growled as he sat down by the nursery's entrance, having seen his brother's frantic state from across the clan's camp. He didnt say anything else, not really sure what to say

"Yes," Lightstorm meowed, glancing at his brother, not stopping his worried pacing. He was about to become a father! While the thought excited him, he was at the same time afraid that something would go wrong.

Heatherpelt nodded again and obediently ate the herbs, then let out a cry as another contraction hit her. She tried to take her mind off the pain by giving a push. A small, black, wet bundle slid into her nest. That's one, the light brown tabby thought, panting. But how many more are there?

Hawksight cocked her head, worried and curious. "Tell me about it?" she asked, knowing that if it was this serious the rest of StarClan would need to be alerted.

Breezekit had really no idea what was going on. He was freezing cold and hungry. He could feel the ground around him, but still could not she. As he took his first breath of cold air, he quietly stayed lieng on the floor, trying to stay warm in this odd new world.

The black tom was shortly joined by two more wriggling kits, both female. One was a long-furred dark brown tabby with a white streak extending from her nose to the tip of her tail, the other gray she-cat with a dark gray patch over her left eye and dark gray forepaws. Heatherpelt, though tired, was busily licking all three of the little ones nestled in the curve of her belly. Lightstorm poked his head into the den, unable to bear waiting for news of his mate any longer. As his eyes fell on the three kits and their exhausted mother, his gaze softened with love, relief, and joy. "Is she alright?" he asked Cloudhaze as he stepped into the nursery and lowered his head to sniff at the three little ones. Our kits, he thought proudly.

"Dark Forest worshippers. They believe spilling innocent blood will save them from damnation. One of them calls himself Ahzek, and acts like a medicene cat...only with...strange powers" Snowstar growled, looking to the pebbles under his paws for a moment, before growling "They've taken Firestreak. We're going to get him back"

"She performed perfectly" Cloudhaze mewed, bowing her head. "She should be fine, she's just tired"

Fogcloud stayed outside, rubbing his chin with a paw and growling "Wow...for some reason I thought this day wouldnt come so soon...or did time fly by?"
"The cat's older than your father when he first had you and your sisters!" Another cat mewed from Fogcloud's side. Fogcloud widened an eye and looked to him. He growled to the other gray tom "...Where'd you come from?" The cat shrugged. "Loneclaw doesnt keep track anymore. Loneclaw just goes where Loneclaw feel's he's needed"
"....So who's Loneclaw?" Fogcloud asked, confused. "Your looking at Loneclaw!" The starry gray tom mewed proudly.
"Loneclaw's you?"
"Yes. Loneclaw comes to check up on Loneclaw's family at times like this"
"...Uncle?" Fogcloud mewed, recognizing the cat from the stories he was told by his father. He was there when he was born too. "Wow, its been a while."

Hawksight let out a quiet gasp. "No wonder we lost sight of him," she meowed with sudden understanding, her eyes widening in distress. "We should've suspected something was wrong..." Her paws kneaded the pebbles restlessly. "How do you intend to get him back?"

Lightstorm let out a purr. "That's fantastic," he meowed. He moved to rest behind Heatherpelt, unable to take his eyes from the kits. "What should we name them?" he asked his mate. She blinked at him tiredly, but with a softness in her eyes he'd never seen before. "I was thinking...Breezekit for the black tom," she replied. "But the other two...I haven't been able to settle on names for them yet." "How about Cinderkit, for the gray she-cat?" Lightstorm suggested, touching his nose to the tiny gray cat's head. "Cinderkit...I like it." Heatherpelt turned her blue gaze to the brown tabby. "Breezekit, Cinderkit...and, how do you like the name Bramblekit?" Lightstorm's purr rumbled in his throat as he licked her cheek. "I think it's a perfect name for her. They're all beautiful, Heatherpelt...just like you."

Robinflight had noticed the commotion around the nursery. Murmurs of the proud parents' names reached his ears; Lightstorm and Heatherpelt's kits had arrived. Two she-cats and a tom. He smiled. He was happy for them; it was obvious how much they loved each other, and right now Lightstorm must feel as though he were walking on clouds. His gaze slid sideways and he found himself gazing at Poppytail, Emberspots, and Vixentail. The tortoiseshell was sharing tongues with her former apprentice as her daughter groomed Poppytail's back. The murmur of their voices reached him faintly, but he couldn't make out what they were saying. His gaze lingered on the russet-colored she-cat for a few seconds before he realized he was staring and looked away, embarrassed and hoping no one had seen him looking. He was one of the Clan's deputies; he couldn't afford to let himself get distracted from his duties. But...all the same, he found himself glancing back towards Vixentail. Maybe he should ask her if she'd like to hunt with him... He gave his head a shake. Focus, Robinflight! he scolded himself, firmly setting his gaze on the camp entrance.

"Thats something Shadowsoul and I need to work on" Snowstar mewed. He stepped forwards and touched noses with Hawksight, trying to comfort his mate as she would try to comfort him. "We will overcome this threat" He assured, before pulling back and growling "Its time I wake up. Take care of yourself, Violet"

"Think its safe to go in?" Fogcloud asked, one ear turned towards the den's entrance. He didnt hear much happening from within. "Yes" Loneclaw growled with a nod. Fogcloud took a breath and turned to head down into the nursery, the starry tom following

"And you, Snowstar," Hawksight replied as she began to fade. "Be careful."

Lightstorm looked up as Fogcloud entered, surprised to see the strangely familiar StarClan cat at his brother's side. Deciding it wasn't a big deal right now, he meowed with unmistakable pride, "Meet your nephew and nieces, brother. Breezekit, Cinderkit, and Bramblekit."

Snowstar bowed his head and closed his eyes. His surroundings also faded, becoming a blank white as a blinding glowing light engulfed him. He opened his eyes again, looking not at moist pebbles, but neatly packed dirt held up with brambles. He stood up from his nest, arcing his back as he did in a stretch before looking to the other three cats in the den. "Welcome back" Coldeyes growled. "Anything to report...?" He asked

Fogcloud passed his eyes over the three suckling balls of fur. He laughed at the black kitten. "The only tom of the litter?" He mewed. "How....relatable"
"Let them grow to be happy, healthy and fluffy cats!" Loneclaw commented, tilting his head as he looked at the newborns

"We're in over our heads, that's for sure," Demontalon remarked quietly, shaking her head. Noting the noise in the camp she twitched an ear and craned her neck, trying to see what was going on from the den entrance.

Lightstorm chuckled softly. "Let's hope he doesn't eat bugs to prove he's a warrior, eh Fogcloud?" he teased, remembering when his little brother had tried to get his sisters to eat a beetle, then done so himself.
