Description:
The plains of the African savannah were quiet, save for the few calls of the birds in the sky and the sound of zebras munching on the tall straw colored grass beneath their hooves. One zebra was a little away from the others with the other young zebras that ranged from ages one to three years. These were a small band of zebras that were almost fully grown. They were either play fighting, grooming each other, or just socializing. The one zebra filly, named Isoke was busy with another colt of the herd. She half reared and nipped him on the shoulder playfully, while he let out a small squeal of enjoyment and reared to his full height and nipped her higher on the neck. His black front hooves hit her gently on the shoulder. At this, Isoke whinnied and finally came down on all fours. "
That was a little too hard," she nickered as the skin twitched on her shoulder to rid herself of a pesky fly that decided to make its landing there. When he only snorted and walked away to join his colt buddies, she rolled her chocolate eyes and went to join the fillies who were either grazing on the scrumptious grass or grooming each other. Isoke observed them for a minute or two before she snorted and finally laid down.
