Maka and his hunting group ventured through the thick trees, sniffing out the smell of a deer. Maka looked back at the following wolves, they stopped as well. They waited. "You smell it? That scent is getting stronger" His tail twitched and he started to creep slowly. The group did also. "Stay low. Don't make a sound" He spotted the deer facing away from them. "We'll take it by surprise"

as the deer was grazing, a pair of blue colored eyes watched, waiting for the right momment to strike. a white shape moved through the undergrowth quietly, not wanting to alert the nearby prey. a pure white tiger could smell a wolf pack close by, but they would know better than to think he was weak. after 3 minutes, the deer lowered its head to graze and then, a white streak came at it. azure eye landed on the deer and pinned it down before biting it on the neck, his teeth dealing a fatal wound and the prey began to suffocate. a few mintes later, the herbivore stopped moving and the white killer looked in the direction of the wolf scents, a snarl coming form his toothed maw as a warning. if they attacked him, they would pay with their lives unless they fled upon this warning.

Tyretros trotted along, glancing back occassionally, nervous. He had managed to kill a Gazzle, the maneless male already had his fill, though it was rushed. Tyretros wished to get some distance from the corpse, not wanting to be spotted by any other predators who might've caught the scent. He swung his head from side to side, seeing a river not too far from his position, his tail twitching as he lifted his head. Tyretros crept toward the body of water, knowing that other predators, as well as prey, would be there. He snarled under his breath, continueing forward silently, glancing around, still nervous, the savannah offering little cover...

Night lifted her head, giving the jackal a blue-eyed stare. After a while she shrugged its presence off and yawned, enjoying the warm sun on her fur. For the first time in a good while, she relaxed. He's probably dead by now anyway, the wolf thought with a twitch of her tail. And a mate...when have I ever needed one before? I'm fine on my own.

Nightbane walked through the tall grass. he had recently brought down a young gazelle and had eaten all he could. now he was feeling a bit sluggish, but thirsty. as he walked towards where he could instinctively sense water, he straightened his stance, his long black claws hidden within the fur on his paws. he wasn't fully grown, but he knew he was quite capable of protecting himself. so long as nothing bigger than a fully grown tiger turned up, he'd have little trouble today. still, he wanted to get rid of the smell of blood from his muzzle; the smell was really easy to pick up to those who had a good sense of smell, and he wasn't in the mood to be bothered by an annoying attacker looking for an easy meal. as he reached the river, he stretched his jaws in a wide yawn and then bent down, lapping up several mouthfuls of water with his rough feline tongue, soon satisfying his thirst and cleaning the blood from his muzzle. feeling sleepy, he lay down on his side and basked in the sunlight, his golden fur camouflaged perfectly in the dry grass. he could smell another predator nearby, but paid no heed to it for now. the smell wasn't very strong, so he knew it wasn't too close...

Redtail looked around, scanning the area for food. All he saw, however, was the wolf...

Tyretros continued to move silently toward the river, now only a few feet from it's cool waters. He upped his pace to a slow trot, glancing around nervously as he did. Suddenly, the maneless male hit something, tripping over the large object and falling inches from the water. Tyretros jumped to his paws, turning around to see another, slightly larger lion. He snarled at his own stupidity, backing slowly away from the other lion, hopping the creature wouldn't attack...

Tornado kept the small rodent pinned with his heavy front paws. having been his first meal in days, he wasnt exactly taking his time with it. He ripped a leg off the dead creature, chewing lazily and then swallowing. His ears pricked slightly and he raised his blood stained muzzle and let out a long howl into the air, returning the one he had heard earlier. But he had been tracking his meal then and didnt wnat to risk spooking it. He continued to eat untill only a few broken bones remained and then he padded happily through the forest in no particular direction.

Night pricked her ears, hearing a far-off return howl. She let out a howl of her own, stating where she was and that she was alone. If the wolf that had returned her call wanted to form a pack, maybe it'd respond again.

Tornado sweapt his toungue over his muzzle, deep in thought. He made up his mind and let out another howl into the sky. He doubted it would amount to much, but it would be better than doing nothing. He continued padding towards his rocky den...

Night slipped back out of her den, standing in the sun with her head raised proudly. She sat down and scanned the horizon, not seeing much happening. She lowered her head to lick a patch of ruffled fur on her chest, sighing quietly to herself.

Name: Blood Scar
age: 40 years
Species: Salt Water Crocodile
length: 33 feet
weight: 3600 lbs
personality: Smart and very deadly, rules the waters with very few competition. A highly skilled predator that has won many fights, and gained numerous scars to give him his name. Often gives an intruder 2 times to leave, on the third it will strike at once. Calm at first but is easy to anger. Will also often attack other predators to prove that he is more dominant and to kick them of his territory. His apperance is from scars from bullet wounds or from other crocs and despite his young age, he had grown very fast and is a immense creature. His massive appitie and the need to hunt continues to drive him as small fish are not enough but zeebras, wilderbest, water buffalo are usually the most desired. However lions and tigers and panthers are often food as well as the much more larger croc has proven himself to be a domintant predator....

Name: Isoke
Age: 2yrs.
Species: Buchell's (Plains) Zebra
Length: 6ft
Height: 5ft at the shoulder
Weight: 635lbs.
Personality: Spirited, loves to run around and play with the other zebras, likes to be alone if she is in a bad mood, if very annoyed or bothered, she will either kick out or bite. She will try her best to fight, if she is confronted with a predator, but she will usually run when the herd runs.
Description: Image

The plains of the African savannah were quiet, save for the few calls of the birds in the sky and the sound of zebras munching on the tall straw colored grass beneath their hooves. One zebra was a little away from the others with the other young zebras that ranged from ages one to three years. These were a small band of zebras that were almost fully grown. They were either play fighting, grooming each other, or just socializing. The one zebra filly, named Isoke was busy with another colt of the herd. She half reared and nipped him on the shoulder playfully, while he let out a small squeal of enjoyment and reared to his full height and nipped her higher on the neck. His black front hooves hit her gently on the shoulder. At this, Isoke whinnied and finally came down on all fours. "That was a little too hard," she nickered as the skin twitched on her shoulder to rid herself of a pesky fly that decided to make its landing there. When he only snorted and walked away to join his colt buddies, she rolled her chocolate eyes and went to join the fillies who were either grazing on the scrumptious grass or grooming each other. Isoke observed them for a minute or two before she snorted and finally laid down.

A shape sat on a large rock, licking it's paw, pretending it hasn't seen a herd of antelope and zebras grazing. It stopped and scanned the area, seeing nothing of interest, Kita slinked down into tall savannah grass, nearly completely hidden in the sun. He stalked closer, nearing the herd, waiting for the right time to strike...

Night twitched an ear. "I had a rabbit," she growled, indicating the remains of the rabbit with one paw.

Redtail's ears drooped disappointed. "Ugh, now I have to go hunt..." he groaned, turning around to go find some substantial prey.

Kita silently moved closer, picking his target, a young antelope, slightly away from the main herd. The King Cheetah moved closer until he was in striking distance, his ears flattened, picking the right moment, he burst out of the tall, savannah grass and ran at near full speed towards the young antelope, sending the whole herd into a run.

A massive creature moved through the local river... slowly approaching a massive herd of zebras that were drinking from the river. The area seemed clear as the herd moved deeper towards the river, suddenly the immense crocodile revealed itself for a short moment, looking at the herd, scars showing clear in its armor plates, one of the scars running close to its right eye. The creature went down under once more swimming towards the herd when it became quiet for a few moments. Suddenly one of the creatures were caught in a massive vice grip of immense force. Blood Scar caught on to one of the necks of the zebras, pulling it under the water, with little struggle as it disappeared. The herd backed off, running in the oppisite direction. Blood's Scars jaws, crushed the neck of its prey as it also drowned and it was not long before it died. Blood Scar then packed off and began his "Death Roll" sinking his teeth into parts of the flesh and then twisted violently, ripping apart its prey. Blood Scar then begun to eat
