Nguvu chuckled. "And that's how you'll live the rest of your life if i have anything to say about it" he growled. "Now. I'm going on a hunt later tonight. going to get some rest. you coming?"...

"you USED to. I'm STILL doing it...i feel like a cub" grumbled Kubwa as he got up, walking over to the lake and taking a quick drink, before slowly walking towards the cave, exhausted...

"Yeah," Uzuri growled, getting to her paws. She stretched quickly and started for the cave, the sounds of Night trying to get Lusa to calm down enough to go to sleep becoming gradually louder as she approached.

Nguvu made a low, rumbling growl as he entered, intentionally being loud, the acoustics making it seem to coem from all around Lusa, Nguvu doing it just for the sake of the reaction...

Lusa squeaked in surprise, her amber eyes widening. Night turned to look at the mouth of the cave, her body blocking Lusa's view of the source. The white wolf gave a smirk that, at the same time as being amused, seemed to ask really?

"I still do it, just not as much," Amani growled after finishing her drink, walking to the cave aswell. She stopped for another time at the bank of the pool of water, and lapped up some more drops of the cool liquids, before continuing on into the cave...

"Maybe i can teach myself not to do it then" growled Kubwa simply. "You coming?" he added...

Nguvu smirked as he entered, giving a light shrug as he approached, heading for the resting place furthest back in the cave...

Uzuri followed Nguvu, fighting to suppress a smile, as Night curled her body around Lusa, chuckling quietly. The black pup rested her chin on the white wolf's flank, almost seeming to pout. "Not funny," she murmured, interrupting her sulk with a giant yawn. "Go to sleep little one," Night growled, her blue eyes closing. "There'll be time to explore tomorrow, right?" Lusa asked in a sleepy voice. "Of course. But now it's time to sleep." The two wolves fell silent, the adult beginning to doze off. Lusa tried to keep her eyes open, but they closed when she yawned again, and somehow she didn't have the energy to open them again.

Amani walked into the entrance of the cave, before laying down in her mossy bed nearby the opening of their home, resting her head on the large pile of plants she had made earlier. Another loud yawn came from the tired lioness, as her eyes closed, she slowly fell asleep, though she wanted to stay awake, but just couldn't...

Nguvu rose up the gentle rock incline and into the dip in the rock where his own resting place was, before lying down with a yawn, resting his head, the lion tired from the day's events, though he managed the effort of raising one of his paws welcomingly to give Uzuri room to rest...

Kubwa wasn't far behind, walking in, lazily letting himself fall in the nearest free spot, his paws crossing as he lowered his head onto them, the lion curling up to get comfortable...

Uzuri stretched out beside Nguvu, a small smile on her face as she let out a sigh and began to let go of consciousness.

Nguvu rested his paw on Uzuri's flank as he let himself drift to sleep, snuggling closer as he got himself comfortable, his breathing evening out as he surrendered to his exhaustion...

late that night, Nguvu's eyes opened, the emerald green eyes scanning his surroundings, noting where everyone was. he considered waking someone to come with him, but decided not to. they deserved rest. he'd leave, and bring back the food for them...

Amani slowly started to wake up due to her sleeping problems that she'd been having for the past month, and noticed Nguvu nearby, awake aswell. She soon got up and stretched, before growling, "going somewhere, Nguvu?" as a yawn escaped the lioness' mouth, her mossy bed shifting from the movement she made...

"Going to get you all something to eat" growled Nguvu as he walked towards the entrance. "You're welcome to come if you like" he added as he looked over his shoulder at Amani for a moment...

"Sure. There's nothing much to do when your wide awake in the middle of the night anyways," Amani growled quietly, trying not to disturb the others' slumber, as the lioness got up, and waited for Nguvu. She looked out through the cave entrance, and watched the roaring waterfall nearby, moonlight shining down upon the sparkling water up ahead...

as Nguvu reached the entrance, the misty spray of the waterfall pouring down in front of the entrance reached him, sticking to his fur and dampening it. the group's den was almost right behind the waterfall. anyone not searching for it wouldn't find it, since the entrance was almost entirely consealed by the waterfall pouring down in front of it. he smiled as he saw how the waterfall's snow white form cascaded in front of the entrance, brought to life by the bright silvery white light of the moon above. stars sparkled and shimmered in the sky like diamonds on a massive black velvet background, a shooting star streaking across the sky for a moment. Nguvu smiled. it was times like these that made him a preferencial nocturnal hunter. nothing beat walking amidst the majesty of the world around him at night. the Lion glanced at Amani, tilting his head towards the jungle, before setting out to begin searching for resting spots where prey would likely be...

Amani kept behind Nguvu, wondering where Sharp Claw had gone to. "I wonder what happened to that wolf Night brought along. I haven't seen him in a while now," Amani rumbled, as she let the cool mists from the waterfall spray onto her face, walking along the edge of the rocky platform, still thinking about why he was nowhere to be seen since she had woken up earlier on the bank of the lake...

"I was told he was with us because his home got taken by a lion. by chance did you smell wolf's scent wherever you were before you came back?" growled Nguvu...

"No, but I still haven't seen him since you guys brought him here. Or he followed you four. Either way, it's like he's gone," Amani growled, walking along the pathway, misty liquids spraying her entire flank now. She soon reached the edge of the platform, and leapt off the rocky surface onto the grass, sniffing out something for the whole group to eat for a few days. She soon picked up the scent of a wide-awake water buffalo, grazing close to the edge of the river, not to far away, as she looked over, barely seeing it in the darkness around them, the moonlight nearly being no help at all.

"Being honest, i think it's for the better. he was accident prone from what i saw of him. keeping him around would threaten us all if we weren't careful" growled Nguvu. when he caught scent and sight of the Water buffalo, he grunted "Leave it. too dangerous. not worth the risk"...

"Unless we can sniff out blood from one of those injured beasts, we should leave them alone," Amani rumbled in agreement, before catching the scent of a antelope, grazing on the other side of the river, barely awake, unlike the water buffalo, however. "I think we got some easier prey along the other side of this river, Nguvu," the lioness growled, turning her head in the direction of the tired animal, that was still chewing on the grass, not knowing what dangers awaited it...
