The marines keeps firing despite the many losses, still having atleast 17 or so soldiers left to actually fight. The downed marine quickly scrambles to his feet and barely manages to limp back to his own as they keep firing, most in cover due to the collector drone firing at them...

The swarm of creatures simply clambered over the soldiers' cover, dropping down on them and mercilessly shredding them up close, their swings bone-breakingly strong...

A few of the stronger soldiers fight back, but the weaker ones try running or are simply killed by the beasts seconds after they are attacked. "We need help, 2-9-8-1!" a marine shouted over his radio, and just seconds later, as if on cue, a couple dozen missiles hit one spot on the eastern wall of the freighter, and large, flesh-tearing plasma rounds rip into the ship as large chunks of metal are sent flying, most of the shots crashing into the swarm while everything else is left to be pulled into the vacuum of space. The marines, however, allow this just to escape in one piece, if possible...

The swarm of creatures, as well as much of the cargo near the hull breach, is sucked out into space, the atmosphere venting rapidly. Eventually, metal plating automatically slid into place over the hole, sealing it shut yet again. The Collector and any of the creatures and soldiers left that had managed to brace themselves before the explosive decompression were momentarily stunned by the event...

Only a few of the soldiers remained, leaving themselves behind just to allow their allies to escape while they fought off the enemy shortly after recovering. Those outside, mostly now floating in space, watch as the dropship that saved them gets turned around and the cargo bay opens, giving them access into the mostly empty ship before they departed...

The swarm pressed forward again, and a booming voice growled from the Collector: "I will direct this personally." The Collector began to spasm, glowing cracks forming in its carapace, before it finally let out a burst of energy and stood straight, now fully possessed by the Collector General. Raising its rifle, the glowing Collector steadily made its way towards the remaining troopers, firing constantly and bombarding them with pulse rifle fire from the alien weapon. "Face your annihilation!"

Three of the five soldiers are quickly dropped, one managing to fire off some shots from his pistol before getting killed just seconds later. The other two hold their ground, one throwing a sticky grenade, made up of a bundle of grenade heads and one stick, right at the collector, which sticks to it and detonates a mere few seconds later...

The field of Force energy around the possessed Collector absorbed much of the explosion, and its reinforced carapace stopped the rest, though it did succeed in sending the creature flying backwards into a knot of the zombielike monsters around it. This didn't seem to stop them, though, and they continued to surge forward, pushing the last few soldiers against the docking tube's door, effectively cornering them...

"Ah! I can't take it!" one marine screams while putting the barrel of his pistol to the side of his head, before pulling the trigger and ending his own life... just to keep the zombie-like beings from taking him. The other one, however, pulls off five pins of grenades on the belt around his waist and rushes at the swarm, prepared to take out as many as possible rather than let them take him for their own needs...

The Collector watched impassively as the last soldier sacrificed himself to take out a cluster of Husks. The ship would probably be destroyed now, but that was the least of Harbinger's concerns. They had proven their point, and it was highly unlikely that the G.E.A. would come anywhere near the Terminus Systems ever again...

As if on cue after a couple of moments, multiple plasma bolts and lasers sailed through space at the freighter, all crashing into it mere seconds later, tearing it's hull, bridge and cargo hold to nothing in a few moments...

The freighter was quickly vaporized, simultaneously destroying the Husks, the Collector, and everything else aboard...

The G.E.A had noticed the threat aboard the freighter they had just destroyed some time after getting contacted by those who survived, knowing what damage it could've done to the others within it's remains...

Upon being sense, the Imperial probes drifted towards the ships that have discovered them. A small beep sounded through the cockpit of the starfighter as the pilot took note of the coordinates and began to head towards the location but was in no rush. Even with its stealth, the pilot still had to be careful..

Soon enough, crew members started working on establishing contact with whatever had sent the probes, some trying to send the messages to the machines themselves and hopefully manage to somehow get it sent to their owners. Others tried sending it off at the direct source or sources that sent the small machines, but to no avail...

The small probes got closer and closer attempting to get a good visual to identify if it was GEA or GCM. The probes were small and seemingly harmless and simply drifted around the space of the ships simply for gathering data. The probes that were being contacted however responded with the same message in standard basic.

"HELP: Need data to closest public space sport"

The idea was that which ever fraction was, they would simply send the probes information which would secretly transfer the data to the starfighter. Surely there would be some military presence at said space port but hopefully there would be civilians around which would allow the pilot to blend in and get the information he sought.

"That is a negetory, sir," a crew member said into a lone microphone, while quickly adding on, "all G.E.A controlled space ports are either destroyed or under heavy rebel control. Best you'll get is to come 'board one of the carriers deeper in the fleet... of course, I'll have to run some scans and clear you to come within our fleet, though..."

The probes halted their movement as a message was responded to the fleet from the probes, the star fighter in command of the probes still at a distance and being wary of the situation. "Understood... permission to dock on one of the carriers for repairs and perhaps a chance to speak with a junior officer" The pilot of the star fighter was slightly hesitant, he could reveal itself and find himself out of the comfort on being in stealth mode. From the look of his ship, it would seem was not a standard civilian but of course risks had to be taken and he had to do what was required. The pilot waited for a response.. the probes had done their job..

"Ok-hold on," the crew member responded and pressed a few buttons on the control panel before him, quickly preparing scanning machines to run tests on the person's ship before he could be granted access into any designated ship himself...

The pilot sighed as he accelerated towards the fleet, direction the star fighter until he was in range and slowed down. The star fighter's lower compartments opened up as the probe droids found themselves re-entering the star fighter. The pilot looked around, it was meant to look like a civilian ship, no signs of allegiance to any fraction but besides the two obvious blaster cannons, the internal missiles and mines could be detected which could put him in some trouble still with the way he personally looked and how his ship was armed, he could have been just a wandering bounty hunter of some sorts to most people.
