Deathwyrm surveyed the base carefully, not yet exposing himself, letting the other dragon take care of the communications first...

Kyle just watched, not moving as he nervously stood there. He gripped his weapon, ready to react but then again felt too scared too. Something was off like the creature was in pain..he wasnt sure why but it didnt matter really, at least to him...it was still something that endangered everybody here

"Sir, we've lost radar on the area around us," said a man inside a large building, with alcoves jutting out on it's sides, the structure itself an irregular box shape.
"Probably just another glitch, or electrical storm interfering with satellite again. It should be back up in a few minutes," another responded.

Morgoth next proceeded to drift over to the large, irregular box shaped building, taking care not to let the humans outside see him. He was fairly sure all their long range sensory equipment and transmissions came from here. Cutting wires would not do, he would have to destroy the equipment itself.
He contacted Deathwyrm telepathically, his voice audible in the other dragon's head.
It's me, Morgoth. I think now would be a good time. If you could just provide a distraction to the bulk of the fleshbags' fighters, so I can destroy their long range communication, and prevent them from calling help?...

Deathwyrm, incapable of replying, simply took action. With a massive beat of his leathery wings, he took off, sailing towards the human base and swooping low across it, breathing a stream of flames as he passed overhead, incinerating anything beneath...

OOC: Deathwyrm can respond, just by "thinking" the words while Morgoth is telepathically linked to him.

A single sentry standing by the large fence that surrounded the base screamed as he saw the dragon, running toward the largest building in the human encampment.
"We're under attack! Dragon attacking base!" he shouted as he sprinted toward the command center of the base, not trying to hide himself from the dragon, focused on reaching the building.

Morgoth let out a mighty roar, going inside the building in solid form, telekinetically smashing boxes and communication arrays onto the ground, burying the nearest fleshlings under them...

OOC: Yeah, but Deathwyrm doesn't know that. :P

Deathwyrm literally landed on top of the fleeing human, crushing him to a pulp underneath his weight. Rearing up on his hind legs, Deathwyrm let out an earth-shattering bellow, partially to get the attention of the humans and partially for his own amusement...

OOC: Ah, gotcha

The humans, fully alerted to the intruder's presence now, began to file out of the the building, armed with rifles set to kill. They stepped out in a rush, searching madly for the dragon that had created the ground-shaking roar, each one not wanting to be its first victim...

Morgoth destroyed the last of the equipment, a few lone fleshbags who hadn't been crushed by communicator relays or ripped to shreds by the dragon fleeing for their lives. The Phase dragon let them go, knowing Deathwyrm would probably be needing some help soon. He slipped through the roof of the building, flying low toward the command center where the commotion was taking place...

Deathwyrm, due to his size, was hard to miss, and he made little effort to hide. He roared down the incoming humans, unleashing another colossal blast of fire to incinerate any human that got within range...

the trio's hearts almost stopped as a familiar rattling roar boomed throughout the small village, the hissing screech of the Serpentine wyvern rising to it's peak, a streak of blue-gold flames shooting from it's mouth, the billowing of wings audible once again, this one having a more resonant tone, as if the membrane was taught to the point it 'rang', the billowing giving a faint buzzing sound. in an instant, it was over. the Serepentine wyvern was blown from the fountain and slammed into the ground, hissing, it's whip like tail lashing around violently, as a thin golden streak came down from above, the Wyvern falling silent, the golden streak halting, revealing the attacker's yellow eyes. Mike squeezed himself into the corner of the room, not letting himself look at it anymore, willing himself to melt into the wall. Jake and Max had hit the deck, hiding behind the bed, hoping the creature wouldn't look their way...there was no doubting it...it was the Shadow Wyvern...

Kyle gritted his teeth as he dropped them and found himself a place to hide, away from the gaze of the wyvern. He tried to limit his shaking as he clutched the gun even tighter. As time slowly passed on, the idea of ending everything right now for a quick painless death seemed reasonable but at the same time, he didnt want to endanger those around him..

a second hissing screech was heard as another attacker came in, this one possibly the first one's mate, wanting revenge, a streak of blue and golden flames shooting forward as it landed. the Shadow Wyvern leapt to the side, before unleashing a stream of shimmering silver, the creature freezing solid. another rattling roar came from the beast, as it turned towards the kill it had made, biting down on it's torso and leaping into the air, flying off, the buzzing billowing sound of it's wing membranes fading into the distance. for several minutes the trio, in seperate rooms, stayed as still as the dead, frightened that it may have been a mind trick to fool them into coming out. when they finally did, Mike made a beeline for the others, skidding to a hault in the doorway as he saw, over the other two's shoulders, the sight that lay outside. the frozen Serpentine wyvern stood their, wings spread, a stream of what seemed like liquid spraying forward. that liquid was the fuel that the Wyvern would ignite to breathe flames...it was the core of the fire it used to incinerate it's foes...and yet there it was....an arcing, solid stream, frozen along with the creature that was spraying it, a statue. "....*******.....hell" said Mike, completely dumbstruck, the other two silent in shock...

Kyle took a peak slightly but couldnt stand to look, afraid that he may have done something stupid. They were completely outmatched at the moment. He shook with fear, trying to contain himself. His thoughts stayed completely himself as he prayed somehow the creature outside would just disappear..

"Well Kyle....you just saw what did your jet...and your friends...in. that's the ******* that was chasing us across the countryside to St. David's" said Mike, managing to find his tongue again. the other two were still stunned though. Mike was the most senior of them. he was their leader, as well as the one who had probably seen the most out of them all. but even he had to admit...he had never come across one of these before...he had heard stories...local legends of ghost wyverns that came out of nowhere, destroyed every trace of human life in an area, then disappeared as fast as they appeared. stories of mind manipulating creatures with sadistic pleasures, tormenting their prey with visions of a paradise, of food, health, freedom, wealth, family, friends, women. all the pleasures that drove people to do as they did, used as a weapon to distract humans, to make them turn against their bretheren, or lure them into the open. and again, stories of necromancing beasts that rose the dead to do their bidding. but never....never had he expected all three to be of the same creatures...

"Fire at will!" came a voice from within the group of humans, as they saw the large dragon looming in front of them. The sharp report of gunshots cracking from their rifles began, the humans in the back firing a hail of bullets at Deathwyrm as his blast of fire ended...

Deathwyrm snarled, the bullets little more than an itchy annoyance. With a mighty bellow, he literally swung the entire front half of his body down and to the side, sending the small knot of humans flying...

Kyle narrowed his eyes as he shook with a sense of fear. It was almost as if the creature was following him as if it had unfinished business. Kyle remembered how truly lucky he was to actually survive but considering he was the only survivor of eagle team. He almost sort of wished he died along with them because at the moment, he was seemingly stuck to deal with a creature that he didnt know to fight.
"This is crazy..." Kyle stuttered. "Damn..how the hell are we suppose to deal with something like that"

Morgoth cackled sardonically as the humans slammed into him and fell to the ground, having been lurking as a hazy vapor, just before re-materializing as the screaming fleshbags hit him.
Using his mind, he picked up all the fleshlings from the back half of the group, flinging them toward Deathwyrm for some fun.
Amidst all the chaos, he sensed yet another dragon in their vicinity. Telepathically speaking to Deathwyrm, he said, There's another dragon, very close to us. It's a large one too. Be on your guard...

"We don't 'deal' with it. we have to survive it. get far enough out of this damned dark zone and we won't have to deal with it. outside the dark zones communication's easier, so tactics can be used by the higher ups to take the ******* down if it keeps following. From what i gathered from the Commanders back in the base when we worked for the GDEA, most of the smaller ones avoid leaving the Dark zones. they ride on the destruction the Ancients cause. bigass ******* with an incredible amount of firepower. they're what destroyed Europe. it's their attacks that cause Dark Zones to turn up. and in the Dark Zones, where communication is all but impossible....the smaller ones have their fun" said Mike. "We better rest up for tomorrow. god knows what's gonna happen next" added Jake. Max nodded, but was still silent. "Right. i think i saw a map just before our friend turned up. i'll go get it and plot our course. the rest of you rest up" said Mike finally, as he turned to leave the room...

the low thump of massive wings was audible over the base under siege, something notably large passing overhead, above the clouds, the thumping growing louder, and more frequent, as the clouds overhead began to glow, cast with the glow of whatever was above them. a booming roar tore out across the area, as a massive white fireball shot through the clouds, punching a hole through the thick blackish grey blanket and slamming into a tower, a massive explosion engulfing and obliterating it as the creature descended. above them hovered Inferno, the massive Red Dragon's mouth glowing white, his piercing, glowing gold and blue eyes watching the activities below with a predatory gaze, the sheer loathing of the dragon strong enough to be felt, sending a chill down the spines of those who caught his fiery gaze...

Many of the humans attempted to flee; three dragons was just too much for them. Those that didn't seemingly dropped dead, their nerves having been pinched off by Morgoth telekinetically.

Morgoth entered the new dragon's mind, with no resistance.

"If your goal is to obliterate the humans, then i am a friend. seeing as all i've seen of you here is destroying humans, i assume that is the case" rumbled the Dragon as he eyed the fallen humans, and the large Dragon that had been part of the attack on this base...
