Inferno's eyes narrowed as he eyed the creatures, interested to see what they would do...

The Vulture Dragons swarmed towards the human structure, filling the sky above it. In small groups of three or four, they repeatedly dove, launching fireballs at high speed in concentrated clusters. As the fireballs hit, they exploded violently, almost like superheated missiles. The Vulture Dragons continued this tactic, aiming primarily for the building's foundations to bring it down as quickly as possible. Occasionally, a group would turn their ire on the silos around it, but mostly kept their attention on the central building...

Abaddon hisses to Inferno, "Do you really think those revolting things could be of any use to us?"

"At the very least, they'd be fodder for the humans. with a bit of luck their size will make them harder to hit. they can move in to harass them, and then we can move in during the chaos and destroy the humans outright" rumbled Inferno...

Abaddon nods. "It will certainly keep our hides from being bloodied too early in the conflict...."

The Vultures' fireballs melted and punched holes in the walls of the building, until finally it couldn't hold up its own weight, crashing to the ground in a massive heap of twisted, molten metal. The whole attack took less than a minute, and the swarm turned as one, flying back towards the larger dragons...

Inferno nodded in satisfaction. "And how far can you strike from?" he rumbled as he eyed the creatures...

The flock of Vultures stayed silent as Scavenger spoke, the little dragons swirling above their larger brethren. "We shoot far. We not need to ever touch the ground to kill puny monkeys!"

"....'Puny monkeys'?" rumbled Inferno through narrowed eyes as fire seemed to glow along the edges of his scales, outlining them. "Might i remind you that the reason we're together now is because none of us is strong enough to defeat them alone? Those 'puny monkeys' have been hunting us down one at a time remorselessly ever since our kind awoke from our slumber! Do not assume that your height from the ground is the extent of their range....I assure you...they can strike from distances even some dragons would be awed at. It is obvious you have yet to learn their true potential" snarled Inferno as he flexed his wings, giving them a slow downwards beat, the lava-like membranes glowing with the increased exposure to air...

Abaddon growls. "When can we destroy their worthless hides and make them fear and worship us as they trully should?! I grow anxious...."

"We not big and slow like you, dragon!" Scavenger chittered. "We dodge monkeys' fire and give our own in return! We burn their homes to ash and feast for days on monkey bodies!" Deathwyrm said nothing. He knew that Scavenger's boasts were meaningless until the battle was joined, but he also knew that Vultures, despite their size, were deadly in numbers. And if there was one thing Scavenger had, it was a large number of Vultures...

The small blue handball bounced against the wall, again and again and again. The room was silent, only the handball repelling of the wall made any sort of sound. The young officer sighed as he caught the ball in a firm grasp, somebody had entered the room.
"Oh.. Anthony, nice to see ya, you see the the LT?" The young pilot asked. It was obvious he was a rookie. You could tell who were the veterans in particularly the "Dalton Boys" More then half of the original Dalton Boys had died during the many battles in the attempt to rid the world of dragons.
"Nah, I think John is on patrol with Garuda in the skies of London, they should be returning shortly. They were just doing some sight seeing and practicing the ESM with AWACS. With the new shipments from home, we got ourselves much more impressive firepower.." The veteran pilot stated lowly. The pilot looked down, not really eyeing the rookie as he just lay in bed, bored or tired, unsure what he really was.
"Oh.. okay, thanks anyway" The rookie left the room and jogged through the corridors, heading out of the barracks. He glanced in the sky, searching for any sign of the LT. He sighed, glancing at the busy runway, Americans and British servicemen all over the large airfield. Suddenly the low roar of engines became audible as John and two other fighters slowly moved into the runway. The rookie watched the American fighters slowed down on the runway before being guided into the large hangers, several crewmen guiding their way.
John's fighter easily stood out the most, it wasn't fully American thats for sure, it had elements of Russian looks to it and unlike the silver, grayish coating of typical american fighters, the CFA-44 was dark black perfectly matching John's callsign: Grim Reaper
The vertical stabilizers of the CFA-44 had multiple war achievements such as the Golden Medal of Marksmanship. The word "Ace" was seen along the side of the cockpit along with small sized paintings of dragon heads with a X crossed through them. The rookie never was surprised, it was people like his LT Commander that gave hope to the people back at home.
The Ace himself finally lifted the cockpit and climbed out at once with his casual smirk. He turned, eyeing the rookie who stared him with awe who completely forgot why he wanted to see his commanding officer in the first place. "Hey you! what you staring at? Go get me a bottle of water, I'm thristy" John stated, grinning as he did so. The rookie slowly nodded and ran off to preform his task, his mind blank. He actually met his new commanding officer in person, sort off..
While it may have been a rather interesting start of the day for one rookie pilot, so far... it was just another typical day back in London for the Americans.

"We will see" rumbled Inferno as he eyed the creatures, a small flame bursting to life on the vulture's chest for a moment, burning a mark that looked like a fiery dragon's head onto the creature's chest, before extinguishing itself. "That...will remind you...that not everyone needs to worry about striking their target" he growled. As he finished speaking a rhythmic thumping could be heard in the distance, getting louder. Inferno smirked as he glanced at the source. a large silvery grey wyvern was flying towards them, a booming roar akin to the peal of thunder tearing out across the landscape as the creature dove towards them, seemingly focused on the vultures...

Scavenger squawked in alarm and flew back a short distance. However, the Vultures' attention were swiftly diverted to the incoming wyvern, and the smaller dragons all turned as one, in case the larger beast attacked them...

Abaddon chuckled at inferno's act of dominance, before turning to see the source of the roar. "Ah, I see we have company here....."

"You'll have to do better then that, creature." the dragon responded with a shake of his head. "One tends to avoid drawing attention to one's self, if they have any intention of survival..."
