"Uh...ok then..." Charles responded, shrugging, not knowing what exactly Alec was so surprised about. Nonetheless, he began riffling through the files once more, finding a few rubber bands in the process, which he kept for later use...

finding only 3 clips of ammo for his glock, Jose cursed. apparently whoever owned the gun these clips were for had forgotten them in a panic, as many had done. it was a miracle however that nobody else had pilfered them before he got there. not being one to complain, he stuffed them into his urban camouflage, cargo pant pockets, and began looking for something else. some other form of protection. the police were bound to have something. something other than a baton and handgun ammo...he had a sledge for slower targets and getting through weak walls and similar obstacles. the baton wouldn't be a bad idea for faster moving enemies...though chances are by the time they got into that range, he'd be dead...still, best not to dwell on negative thoughts. as he moved onto another desk, he heard something. freezing and listening carefully, he heard muffled voices. the prospect of meeting other survivors overwhelmed him. there was still someone alive! he carefully moved towards the exit to the offices to find whoever it was he heard...

Meanwhile, a low moaning roar could be heard out in the street as a window was smashed, a large, grosely deformed creature swung out at Nemesis. it had a 5th limb jutting out of it's spine, and swung wildly, it's blade tipped edge trying to hit the monster. Nemesis, contrary to his slow appearance, dodged sideways as the blade swung down from above, not to avoid death but rather to take advantage of the still recovering creature as it raised it's blade again, the Nemesis landing a heavy punch in the creature's gut, the blow literally knocking the creature, which was almost Nemesis' size, off it's feet, and slamming into a knocked over wooden table, the table being smashed to pieces as the creature stumbled back, the bladed limb swinging wildly and lodging itself in a metal desk. as it jerked to get free, Nemesis' throaty roar filled the air, the monster running forward and swinging his arm down onto the creature, the weight of it flooring the 5 limbed monster instantly, a loud snap marking the 5th limb had been broken by the blow. Nemesis reached down and raised the creature up again, a purple and yellow liquid-like substance bubbling from one of his palms as he thrust forward, a long, spear-like purple and red tentacle ripping into the creature's skull and ripping it apart, the beast falling to the floor at the Nemesis' feet. Nemesis crouched down low, ripping apart the beast as he began to feed, the need to sustain his powerful body temporarily keeping him occupied. he already detected 3 humans nearby, but knew the hassle and time spent trying to get ahold of them would make it much less beneficial to him than killing this lumbering, poorly mutated creature and feeding off it instead. but that didn't mean he had forgotten the humans...

After smelling that the creature was still there,The Slasher was confused. He Sniffed Again and detected that the creature was with another creature that had apparently just arrived.Deciding to watch and see if he could get an easy meal,The Slasher moved towards the police station just enough to see their outlines, but not get caught(He's not teleporting,he's still walking towards them).

a low rumbling snarl came from within the store where the Nemesis was currently feeding. it sensed a large number of creatures in the area. aside from the humans, there were also at least 4 undead creatures there as well. one, he identified as his most recent human victim, which had mutated not long after being struck down. it, he knew, would be no threat to him, due to the virus he injected into it having brought with it a natural fear of him. the others however, posed a threat to his supply of sustinence...if they stayed too long, he'd be forced to eliminate them....and if he engaged...he would pursue them until he either killed the target, or eliminated the threat it posed...

After tracking down the scent,The Slasher noticed the large creature inside a store and apparently eating another mutant.Walking closer and closer,he sniffed the air cautiously. He had more wolf than human instincts,so if this creature was territorial he would have to retreat unless there was no other choice but to fight...

a low breathing, almost sigh-like snarl came from the beast as he rose from his meal, staring right at the intruder, Nemesis rising to his full height, dwarving the new zombie. Nemesis began to make his way towards it, the tendril within his arm beginning to wind as he prepared to kill it. entering the same block as him was bad enough, but interrupting his meal was an entirely different story...

The second the creature stood up,The Slasher crouched down slightly and put his head down in a passive stance, however if that didn't work his blades were at the ready...

Nemesis let out a throaty roar as he got close, preparing to engage, a number of tendrils having collected below the surface of his arm, ready to skewer the monster in front of him. interruption of his meal and invasion of his current ground was unacceptable...

Before the creature could react The Slasher leapt up at it and dug his blades into it's shoulder and stabbed his lower jaw blades into his neck while slowly beginning to wrap his mouth around his head,in an attempt to devour his head...

Nemesis swung his arm up, grabbing the creature by one of it's thin arms, the other arm swinging up and impaling it through the torso with 5 tendrils, forcing it to let go, the Nemesis pulling it off and raising it into the air, before pounding it repeatedly against the floor and throwing it aside, the creature thumping hard against the wall, the plaster cracking, several pieces ofi t falling off on top of the creature as Nemesis turned around, a low snarl coming from him, the tendrils retracting into his arm...

Nemesis snarled as he looked at the creature, eying it carefully, the beast contemplating how best to eliminate the foe as he slowly moved forward...

Noticing the creature moving towards him,The Slasher lashed out with his bladed hands and let out a roar that could be heard from quite a while a way.

Nemesis snarled at the outlash, and lunged while the creature was recovering from it's own attempted attack, landing a punch in it's face, knocking it sideways into a corner, before turning to face it, a few feet away...

the Nemesis raised one of his massive arms to block the first two blows before landing a crippling kick in the chest of the creature, knocking it back and leaving it in a crumpled pile. deciding the blow would be damaging enough to make the creature get the message, the Nemesis turned his back on it, walking away, having had his fill of the creature he had been eating prior to the interruption...

OOC:Nemesis seems a little hard to fight,or even injure for that matter...Oh well .

Quickly rising once again, and seeing the creature walking away,The Slasher let out a pathetic whimpering sound, acknowledging his defeat, and looked at the police station. Now that the creature was ignoring him,he could get the humans. He slowly began walking towards the police station, cringing in pain with every step. Finally getting tired of the pain,he turned back around and began limping in the opposite direction to find shelter..

Charles looked fearfully at the door to the station, hearing a variety of disturbing sounds coming from the outside world, though he didn't know if they were nearby or not. "Maybe we should pick up the pace...it isn't exactly safe here...and I don't know about you, but I'm exhausted." Charles breathed, looking toward Alec.

Alec, who was rummaging about a desk said "Same here, maybe this is one of those stations that have those reserve cops, there should be a sleeping area somewhere upstairs"

After finding a secure little 2 story building near the police station,he walked and went upstairs to rest in the closet as he did with the other house.Once he was fully healed,he would hunt for flesh.Any flesh would do.
