Charles took little notice at what the zombies were focusing on, only seeing it as good luck for them. He had a last resort-excluding the mop-as a weapon, if the zombies gave chase: a can of air freshener. Not sure how well it would work against the nocturnals, Charles had used it against normal shuffling zombies to cloud their sense of smell, as well as drawing their attention to the very potent smell. He could only hope that it would do the same to these zombies, and hoped even more that such a situation would not arise...

Rather than taking any notice of the humans, the nocturnals continued dog piling the zombie, even climbing over each other to slam their jaws onto it's already rotting flesh, and aslong as it remained there, the attack will continue as relentless as it already was

Alec said as he ran, trying not to pass Charles, "Theres a police station a few blocks down, we could stay there if it's not filled with too much zombies.."

With the dog piling Getting him into a frenzy,The slasher finally resorted to his super strength.Letting out a long, ferocious roar,he threw out his scythes and began swinging away, sending limbs flying everywhere as he forced himself out of the dog pile and rushed at the humans.

"Lets hope it isn't, we can't have this kind of luck for very much longer!" Charles said in a loud whisper, facing forward once more as he ran, not exactly sure where Alec was planning to go. If he was going the wrong direction, he'd assume Alec would tell him...

Alec replied "Well, If we are gonna die, Im glad I met some one else and left that god damned school!"

As the intruder made his charge, even more zombies from the horde tackled the monster to the ground, piling up again, clawing and biting at the zombie, their weight growing and pining it down..

Finally giving up hope,he switched to simply doing a last stand. He began slashing left and right with his blades, ignoring the biting and clawing. He would go on until he became tired,or until the horde was destroyed, and either one would take a while considering his super strength and nearly endless stamina due to being a zombie.

OOC:My last post tonight.

Charles gave a half-hearted laugh, running as fast as he could, watching as they soon put a large distance between them and the school they used to consider safe. With the region being "forsaken" by the nocturnals, there were no other zombies...this would not be the case for long...

Ooc:This is my last post for tonight.

As it was walking in the direction of a gas station, the Gorilla like zombie picked up the scent of two humans(Charles and Alec) that Seemed to be heading in it's direction. Now moving at a fast walk, the beast followed the scents and five minutes laster, it rounded the corner of an abandoned arpartment building and spotted the two running humans. Suprised for a momment at seeing two humans out in the open when darkness was falling, the hungry creature then snarled and charged forward at the two humans with a burst of speed, hoping to kill at least one of them...

As the slasher cut through wave after wave of nocturnals,he was getting tired. He impaled one nocturnal through the neck while cutting of the head of another, then bit the face off of a third one.He was slowly losing energy, but he wouldn't go down without a fight.

OOC: DO NOT post repeatedly before CS can get to post, boswell, its not fair that you are attacking his characters/NPCs without him actually able to use them. Its supposed to be somewhat turn based, not someone taking advantage of anothers' busy schedule.

Charles slid to a stop as he saw the large zombie charging down the street, immediately turning and bolted toward the nearest building. "Oh sh*t oh sh*t oh sh*t!" he half-yelled, nearing a broken down building...

Alec followed suit with Charles, drawing his gun. He fired five quick shots, the bullets slamming into the gorilla's face, dark red blood that was some what clotted splattering about. The five .30 caliber bullets wouldnt be close to killing a zombie, much less a zombie that happened to be, or used to be, a gorilla.

No matter how much zombies were downed, the fight consumed the attacking zombie. The entire nocturnal hive in the area was attacking at once. Also, the ones that were sinply thrown off slunk off from the battle, their wounds healing in a few minutes and then charging back into the battle

The Gorilla zombie snarled in pain from the shots, but it kept charging and at the speed it was charging, it was ganing on the fleeing humans. The creature had decided that the one carrying the small object would be the first to die, viewing it as a threat even if the attack from the object hadn't been enough to do serious harm...

Charles kept running, holding the mop tight as he did, hoping it would be at least somewhat useful if the zombie caught up with them. He took little notice of the shots fired by Alec...he just needed to get to a building, and fast, if they stood even a fraction of a chance against the massive zombie...

Alec jumped to the right as the zombie neared him, the monster powering past him towards a thick patch of bushes. Alec quickly rounded back towards Charles, trying to put as much ground between him and the now zombie that came to a stand still

The zombie began to slow it's charging speed once it realized it was nearing the bushes. Once it did come to a stop, it quickly turned and resumed charging after the human with the gun. It now charged at a faster pace, quickly catching up with the human again and this time, ramming it with it's head, the force of the impact knocking the human to the ground, but it wasn't strong enough to break any bones. The beast then advanced towards the knocked down human, getting ready to kill it and gain a meal...

Charles slid to a stop, turning back around as he raised the mop, jabbing it into the back of undead creature, the wooden edge, though dull, pierced into the rotting flesh. The mop now barely impaled on its back, Charles took a few steps back, hoping it was enough to let Alec escape...

The gorilla zombie snarled in rage at the blow from the mop, but realized that it wasn't serious and continued towards the fallen human. Compared to the mop, the gun looked like it could be a threat if given enough time...

Alec landed on a pile of dirt, where a block was missing from the sidewalk, landing somewhat softly. Alec stumbled to his feet. He yelled "Charles get out of here! Find a place to hide! I have a plan!" Alec raised his gun and fired two more shot's into the side of the gorilla's head, running slowly at first towards the direction in which he came, before speeding off a few seconds after now that he was sure the zombie would come after him

Charles reluctantly turned, bolting off toward the nearest store: an abandoned pharmacy. Hurling himself through the broken window, Charles remained below the windowsill, waiting until the danger, he hoped, passed...

The Gorilla zombie charged after the retreating human once again, not showing any reactions to the shots that hit it in the side of the head. It was now focusing simply on catching this human and quickly killing it before it could inflict any more attacks on it...
