Sidewinder rolled into the base aswell, messaging to Burnout "This is where Optimus himself stays?" The AutoBot couldnt believe it, he might meet the inspiration to robots like him on Cybertron and beyond..

"Well done...I will request additional assistance while we wait..." Jetlag replied, turning away, staring back toward Washington DC in the distance...

"Yes. With his possession of the Matrix, it is safest for him to remain in a secure location." Burnout explained as they drove into a large hanger, which was actually empty upon entering, a few catwalks lining the walls. "Now we wait...Prime should be ready to speak with us soon enough." Burnout said as he transformed, the cruiser folding out to reveal the AutoBot's true form...

Sidewinder's arms swung out and slammed his palms into the ground as the silver pannels twisted about with snaps and clanks, his legs parting, the pick up's cabin splitting apart and moving back as the AutoBot's head rose up and locked into place. Sidewinder also got to his feet as a few pannels and some inner workings locked into place, his visor locking just above his eyes was last..

Arachno nodded, content to stay where he was while Jetlag did his job.

Blitz buzzed over the fence, his small size preventing him from being registered as a threat. He reverted to his robot form while still in the air, rolling into the hangar as he hit the ground. Scuttling inside, he crouched in a dark corner of the hangar, his black armor keeping him hidden as he watched the two Autobots...

the black and silver Tahoe rolled into view in front of the two Transformers, the engine revving loudly as the bumper shifted forward and split, the panels moving around as the entire machine wound up and onto it's digitigrade feet, a large hand hitting the ground for support as the last of the parts twisted into place with numerous clanks, clicks and mechanical whirs, the bumper wrapping around the right arm as a bulky, relatively wide formation of metallic parts formed up on his left arm, Roadrage rising up to his full height in front of them. "I take it those srap heaps tried to hunt you down" said the Autobot calmly, his tone deep and gravelly, his visor glowing a dim royal blue in the daylight. "Any idea how many were following you?" he asked....

Ravage glanced about briefly, checking to make sure that he was truly alone and that there were no humans nearby. So far, he didn't see any, but he wanted to avoid contact with even a lone human, so as to keep his prescense secret to all but the deceptions...

"Like I noticed. You two sound like this is a damn sport. This war decides the fate of an entire species, show some respect." Burnout snapped, his enclosed head making his voice seemingly come from no where. The AutoBot waited, knowing Prime was busy, but didn't exactly like being surrounded by arrogant rookies...

"Exactly why i asked about their condition. the more damage theu sustained, the more likely they'll be out of action for a while. i'd rather be destroying a horde of cripples than a horde of perfectly intact Decepticons when the time comes...makes protecting the human race all the more easy" responded Roadrage...

Roadrage grunted, amused by the short temper of the Autobot. a senior. possibly more so than himself. but then, he did have a reputation for delighting at the very possibility of beating a Decepticon senseless....even if it did occasionally end up with a few injuries to himself. he didn't bother responding to the Autobot, knowing the mood wasn't the kind that he could chat with without rubbing the wrong way. he wondered what was delaying the meeting....afterall, it WAS the local Autobots' presence that called for it...one would assume they'd be the first to arrive...

"Right...sorry" Sidewinder said, looking about uncomfortably. "So, are the stories true? Is Prime who they say he is? A kind but just warrior and leader?" For the longest, he had been wanting to meet the leader of his faction and the suspence was killing him..

"Couldn't put it better myself actually. He-" Burnout began, when he was interrupted by a loud bang, the sound of a cannon discharge. Spinning around, he looked toward the opposite side of the hanger, at the opposing opening, the AutoBot leader Optimus Prime standing just inside the structure, arm cannon smoking. Following the larger AutoBot's gaze, Burnout saw a small robotic figure smashed against the side of the hanger, the relatively tiny mechanical being now missing both its legs, which was merciful, considering if it had been hit full on. "Decepticon spy...the humans detected its entry into the base. Seems they underestimate our allies." Prime explained in his usual commanding voice, lowering the arm-mounted weapon as he walked toward the small grouping of AutoBots...

Sidewinder spun around, only to begin stuttering. "O-O-Optimus!?" Was all Sidewinder could've said when the AutoBot leader started speaking. "I am so unprepared.." He muttered so that even Burnout could barely hear..

Burnout rolled his eyes at the rookie's response, a gesture barely seen thanks to the AutoBot's helmet. "Its good to see you again, Optimus." Burnout said, nodding to the AutoBot leader, who still had a number of the Decepticon-gone-AutoBot parts attached to his body, to honor the memory of Jetfire. "That it is, to you too, Roadrage." Prime said, nodding to each AutoBot respectively. "And I see you have found our newest recruit. Are you prepared to fight alongside your brethren to decide the fate of this entire planet?" Prime continued, staring hard at Sidewinder, suddenly very serious...
