Sidewinder dove down to the right in a roll to dodge the gun fire, getting to his feet soon after when he heard the pattering sound of a helicopter's rotars go off in the distance. Battered and tired, Sidewinder fell foward, transforming with the orchestra of clanks and rattles, falling onto his wheels and then driving off. He hoped Burnout was ok, but the police car disguised robot was obviously much more experianced than him, he didnt have to use a visor to shoot. Even if he did perish, he'd want him to complete the mission, and that is to meet the other AutoBots in Washington DC near the white house...

Arachno stumbled back, snarling angrily. Raising his hand he fired another pulse cannon shot at Burnout's chest, blowing the Autobot backwards from the attack...

Burnout rolled with the attack, landing on his stomach as he transformed back into the police cruiser, immediately roaring forward as he slid the back side of the vehicle into the Decepticon's legs, knocking it over, speeding off the highway via the turn-off...

Sidewinder cruised down the streets as he made his way to the local society's pinacle of command, Route 66 being a direct path to the capital. Crossing the Theodore Roosevelt memorial bridge, Sidewinder went over the still waters and the small island which was also named after Theodore Roosevelt, taking the farthest left turn off from the bridge. It was mere minutes now until he reached his destination

Without pause, Arachno transformed into vehicle mode, racing after Burnout as quickly as possible, simultaneously sending a private message to Jetlag: "Have you made contact with the target?"

Jetlag, high above the ground, fuming, messaged back: "He has gone too far into the city. AutoBot reinforcements are almost guaranteed." he explained angrily, still whirling away from the city...

Burnout sped through the streets, heading deeper into Washington in an attempt to lose the Decepticon, his lighter form enabling him to move faster then his enemy...

Upon seeing Arachno start to pursue Burnout, the marble bot began to follow the two, sticking to the order given to it by Ravage. Though it was certainly very risky to follow the Autobot further into the area, the risk would be worth the potential result of useful information being gained...

Arachno slowed to a stop, then turned around. "Meet me at the road's turnoff. We will discuss what to do from there."

"We can't stay here. Starscream simply wants intel. Our opportunity to destroy the newcomer is gone..." Jetlag replied with a snarl, knowing the situation was bad for them if they remained there...

"Then find us a safe spot. I am less familiar with this human terrain," replied Arachno simply.

Shortly after, the badly damaged pick up truck pulled up beside the White House lawn, just outside the fences. He didnt want to be seen as a threat, especially at the nation's capital, so he just waited until something happened. Sidewinder's radio turned on, Born To Be Wild resuming..

Jetlag acknowledged Arachno silently, flying down toward the highway street once more, intent on guiding his ally back toward safer territory...

A short time later, Burnout pulled up next to Sidewinder, a number of new dents and scrapes dotting the body of the cruiser. "Come, Prime and his associates are too busy to directly deal with us. I'll brief you on the situation." he messaged Sidewinder somewhat irritably, driving past the disguised cybertronian, acting as if the fight between the Decepticons never happened...

Sidewinder said nothing to the much more experianced Autobot, simply following him, shutting off the radio as he went.

Arachno continued following Jetlag, contemplating whether or not to let Blitz keep tracking the Autobots...

Burnout drove casually, following the local speed limits, even though they were in a highly protected area, not wanting to disturb the citizens and tourists. "The humans' military has fortified this area, to protect their leaders against the Decepticons...this fortification also serves as a safe, secure location for the AutoBots to organize here on Earth." Burnout explained, heading toward a large fenced off area with an equally heavily guarded entrance...

Jetlag flew on, heading further down the highway, out of the area where the battles had taken place...

Sidewinder simply grunted in achknowledgement, trying to make it sound like his engine was having troubles so the people in the cars next to him wouldnt raise eyebrows..

Arachno kept following, using his blade to shove rubble from the previous battle out of his way. At the same time, he launched Blitz from the back of his form, with orders to continue gathering intel in D.C....

Burnout arrived at the entrance to the base, which was a large section of the fence that acted as a gate, a small building built on either side of the gate, with a few relatively hidden turrets within the two small towers. The gate opened as Burnout approached, having been with Prime and his associates for some time, while it made no move to shut for Sidewinder, the military operators assuming it was another AutoBot...

Jetlag flew over another turn-off some distance away from the the capital city, landing slowly on a low-lying building on one side of the street that ran onto the turn-off, waiting to Arachno to catch up...

Arachno, after making sure he couldn't be seen, shifted to robot mode and began clambering up the building, swiftly arriving at the top, next to Jetlag...

Blitz, in the form of a remote-controlled plane, zipped along the road at high speed, following the Autobots as he did so...

Jetlag transformed as well, leaving the propeller on his back for the moment. "We will have to wait, if we are to kill the newcomer and its ally...they can not stay within the monkeys' capital forever." he snarled in cybertronian to Arachno, pulling the dangling chain, which was still hanging from the glaive, closer to him, attempting to weld the metal back together...
