First riddle: What part of a bird is on the water but always stays dry?

Hm, well the whole bird is on the water, but the underbelly is the part that would get wet and the feet. Would it be the top part of the bird?

No. But a good guess. I didn't explain it properly. Sorry about that.

Let me rephrase it: What part of a bird is up in the sky, and on the water but always stays dry?

It's better...and I'm going to guess that it's the feathers.

i hate to admit it , but Stallo's right. the shadow cant get wet, and the area of the bird's body that isn't covered with light is shaded, or shadowed as the case would be here. at the same time, it's voer water or land, and never gets wet or dirty...

Hey! Shadow was MY awnser! *takes awnser away from stallo* LOL, is it not ironic that the awnser is the user who created the riddles name? If taht is the awnser. Other wise I just look like a fool here.
