Let the bas***d rot.

EDIT: and how exactly would you nurse a torn apart Space dragon back to health with a Fuel Rod gun?

The people's cruel and merciiless choice: A

You stare into the eyes of the great Space Dragon. Perhaps, under diffrent circumstances, he could have been your best ally, but no, fate has pitted the two of you against each other. Besides, his wounds are too great to repair. You yank open the mouth of the Space Dragon, then place the Fuel rod down the throat, but before you can fire it, Meta-Ridley clamps down onto the Fuel Rod's barrel and begins to suck on it, absorbing the rounds in the weapon, the creature's wounds now heal from the added energy. As Meta-Ridley gets back onto it's feet, a flaming arrow bounces off the Dragon's hide, causing both of you to turn. You instantly notice an entire horde of Space Pirates, Sharpclaw, and Koopa, all of them rushing at you, thirsting for your blood. Meta-Ridley takes off into the horde, ripping them left and right. You:

A. Leap into the fray. THIS IS SPARTA!
B: Fire off your remaining Fuel Rod shots into the horde, despite the risk of harming your newly found ally
C: RUN FOR THE HEATHER!

To get things going, I will call an early vote.

People's Answer: A.

You leap into the horde and swing the fuel rod cannon (Rather then, you know, fire it) into the nearest enemy, the weapon colliding harmlessly with the shelled hide of a Koopa. Meanwhile, the majority of the horde is now dog-piling on your "ally", battering it with their weapons (Rather then, you know, firing them) and using the severed limbs of their slaughtered comrades to bludgeon it to death. The sheer numbers of the enemy, it seems, is winning the day. However, they are also condensed quite nicely in a single area. You:

A: FIRE THE FUEL ROD. Meta-Ridley's death is a justified sacrifice in the line of duty.
B: Hide. If you wait until they all leave, you could salvage the space dragon for parts...
C: Keep smacking that Koopa. That b*stard needs retribution in the form of a swift smack to the face.

I'm going with A. If the Koopa shrugged off a hit from the fuel rod gun before, then even if it did have an effect by hitting it in the head, some of the horde might turn their attention to you while you're busy.

A

killing a large number of them will make survival easier for you, even if at the price of a questionable ally's life. B would depend heavily on luck. not a good idea, and he odds of getting another chance to splatter a huge chunk of them like this are slim at best. C wouldn't be worth it. i mean, which is better? smacking one Koopa, or splattering dozens? besides, you can keep smacking it after you nuke it's friends. but if you smack it you may lose your chance at nuking said friends.

People's logical choice: A

After stepping back a few feet, you rapidly discharge the remaining ammunition of the fuel rod into the horde, blowing apart Koopas and Space Pirates in all directions, leaving few survivors. Said survivors, horrified by their allies' sudden and terrible deaths, drop their weapons and flee toward the palace. You drop the now useless fuel rod cannon and pick up one of the few intact weapons left from the fighting, which happens to be a Carbine from Halo. As you begin your walk toward the palace, you remember that you had an 'ally' in that mess, and instead move toward the pile of charred bodies to find Meta-Ridley. The space dragon is in a similar state, unable to act fast enough to absorb the energies, with charred body parts spread across the immediate area, making its mechanical components useless. Disappointed, you:

A: Proceed onward toward the Palace.
B: Chase down the survivors. Maybe with their deaths, you can catch Raptoris by surprise.
C: Hide. For all you know, the survivors have already reported the incident to an even larger force.

I'm going to go with B. If they're allowed to escape, they'll alert Raptoris. Better to silence them now than when the enemy is already aware of what happened.

B

the first is wreckless, though, were this not life or death, would be fun :P . as for C, you won't need to hide if everything you're hiding from is dead, will you?
