I've played a bit of the game after I got it in the THQ game pack around Christmas. Its quite good, graphics are awesome, the attention to detail is amazing (Tanks having some difficulty getting over rubble, instead of just destroying it as they ride through).
Though I've only played against AI.

Have it, but barely played it. It was a cool game and all, just didn't feel like playing another WW2 game at the time. Didn't get very far into it. Never even tried a skirmish

Really? It forces you to sign in? I don't recall...
Unless it uses the same sign in sh*t as Dark Crusade or DoW2. Then I must've signed in without thinking.

My version of Dark Crusade Doesnt have windows live
And I' guess it depends on what version you bought. My copy of CoH doesn't require you to be signed into anything IIRC

hmm maybe because its been so long you've played i guess cause with all the new patches you do need to sign or plug out your internet
but thats like 5 gig of patches
