My guess is that the eyes are either those of a Carnotaur or a Dilophosaurus. However, since the developers mentioned the dinosaur with the glowing eyes as being "new", this makes me think it is most likely Carnotaurus.

I imagine the "raptor mates with other raptor" and the "T-rex craps on ground" scenes got cut from the brain storming session pretty early. Though the "triceratops eats some grass" scene could make it to the final product.

After looking at the Dinosaur trailer of the JP game, i've got a rough guess as to what the New Dinosaur is.

Troodon.

It's small, fitting the camera view and the number of eyes in close proximity. it's fast, and vicious, and incredibly intelligent. and at that size, it'd be logical it'd have some form of venom to make hunting such large animals easier. and after the rough description of how the dinosaur would kill, it's fairly easy to imagine Troodon fitting that hole fairly well. imagine a few dozen Troodons hording over you, paralysed, and eating you alive, completely aware and feeling it, but unable to move to defend yourself. that, my friends, is terror :P

KP: Makes sense. I've been toying with that idea since I saw the screenshot...but for some reason, and I can't put my finger on why exactly, I also think that maybe that's a bit too obvious...maybe that's what they want us to think it is.

Yeah, it did look kinda like Troodon. I'd like to keep the options open though; you never know until you know, after all.

Okay I lied; now we know what the new enemy is. KP was right, at least, according to the Jurassic park wiki.

Troodon is in the list of confirmed dinosaurs.

"*The Troodon is an all-new dinosaur in the Telltale Jurassic Park Game: Jurassic Park: The Game. It was originally the unnamed nocturnal dinosaur in the game, but has since been revealed. This marks the first appearance of the Troodon in Jurassic Park. It poisons with it's bite and causes hallucination in it's victims, slowly making the victim suffer."

Well, that's fun, isn't it? Poison and hallucinations and ninjas, oh my. XP

This game looks very promising... Sure, the graphic aren't top notch, but everything else about it seems great...

Oh, and KP... Being eaten alive by Troodons? I'd perfer THAT over having a pair of invisible Carnotaurs toying with me before I die... I seriously thought the mysterious dinosaur was Carnotaurus...

I doubt you'd say that when it actually and inevitably happens in-game, gira. *MWAHAHAHAHA*

Pushed back to fall. For the sake of the developers I hope it turns out to be worth the extra wait.

The 360 version of the game (the one I'm getting) is going to have the full game on the disc instead of being released in episodes. >:D Take that, PC and PS3! MUAHAHAHA!
