Jurassic Park 3: Island Attack and Park Builder

These are the other two JP3 games that were made by Konami. The plot of Island attack is that you are Dr Grant and are stranded on Isla Sorna after the plan he was flying over the island to view it is damaged badly enough by a Pteranodon to force an emergency landing. Now, the only way Grant can get off the island is by getting to the port, where the coast guard has sent a boat to wait for him. The graphics in this game are good and the Dinosaurs are very easy to recognize. another positive thing about this game is that the flare gun you get has infinite ammo, which eliminates the worry of having to find more ammo. Another positive is that if you fall into a pit, you won't die instantly, provided that your health bar doesn't empty when you fall in. However, this game does have a few problems. The first one is that the hit detection is a bit flawed and a good example of this is that sometimes, when you shoot a gunpowder box to try and take out a dinosaur, if the dinosaur isn't in the right place, the explosion won't register. The second flaw is that in some parts, you might think you need to run and jump to get across gaps, but when you try that, you end up falling and losing health and you'll probably waste alot of health at the same pits before you realize you just need to walk and jump to get across saftley. The third and final flaw is that in one level and part of another, you can't heal, meaning that if you want to get through in one try, you have to pretty much know when the enemies are coming and where the pits are in the entire level that you can't heal.

Park Builder involves you making your own Jurassic Park, not unlike JPOG. One good thing about this game is that if you like a challenge, then this one can be a challenge for you, especially if you want to recreate every species of Dinosaur and Prehistoric animal in the game. The single big flaw worth mentioning of this game is that all you do is build a park, so those who aren't into JPOG or other games where you build a zoo or park are going to lose interest very fast.
