There has been an update on this alpha build a while back. While the alpha was buggy and difficult to work with, the update was a vast improvement in stability and intuitiveness. I enjoyed it fully, and it was only a small part of an insanely larger whole. And its free. Did they mention it was free? Because it is. Very much free. Unlike another, subpar game that happens to be in development at this time <.<

From the first alpha. I was experimenting with a peculiarity of the build in that if you build straight down from the spawn point, you'd have a portal-esque infinite fall from the top of the map to the bottom. The machine gun has a wicked recoil that if you fire straight down and jump, it will give you extra air time. Combined the two concepts. Hilarity ensued
