JPOG On Steam...?

It has been brought to my attention that JPOG has been launched on steam...but not by Universal or Blue Tongue Entertainment. Blue Tongue Entertainment has been shut down since 2011 and with the death of THQ, it's clear there isn't anything more to be seen from them.

So who put JPOG on steam? A Fifteen year old who claims to have created a full recreation of the game in a mod. Except he didn't. It's the same game with a few color swaps here and there and different labels. This kid intends to resell a partially altered game.

Wat.

So not only is the guy attempting to sell a game that isn't his...he's advertising things he can't do, with images that aren't his.

Nice.

What confuses me is that he is apparently free to do it, as the companies responsible for JPOG no longer exist....

Last I checked, when a software's manufacturer shuts down or otherwise ceases to exist, that makes the software public property. Free. It should NOT be possible for some random bystander to lay claim to the product and start SELLING it.

Jurassic Park itself is top priority copyrighted material. Universal, once they get wind of it, WILL crack down on him.

it's only a matter of time. Looks like he's already getting a fair amount of backlash from people about this.
