The demo for it is somewhat limited, with onlly 2 levels on Campain for you to do, and 1 skirmish place, but that doesn't enter your mind when you see your troops out there battling a pair of Hornets or Elephants. There are so many new vehicles in the game that should have been included into Halo 3, it's not funny. I give the demo an 8/10

Posted: Sat Feb 07, 2009 9:07 amI agree, the demo is really fun. The Cut Scene graphics are ten times better then Halo 3's...as are the in-game graphics. Much more realistic.
Also, I tried out Skirmish with both the Covenant and the humans, and I prefer the Covenant a lot more. I actually built a Scarab...that thing is ridiculously powerful, as well as ridiculously fun to use
Tried to attack the human base with two Wraiths and a few squads of Jackals, only managed to take it down to 75% health. Sent in the Scarab, base was reduced to ash in seconds.

Posted: Sat Feb 07, 2009 1:55 pmI've downloaded the demo, but I have yet to play it (I'm itching to try it out, though, since nearly everyone I know who's played it says the game's awesome). I DO know, though, that Honor Guards are apparently better than Spartans.

I haven't even faced an enemy on easy. I immediately went to Normal, and kicked their *sses easily and without problem. Heroic? Two words describes what happened: Cluster f*ck.
Have yet to beat a heroic enemy. But my strategy for RTS games is to "turtle", which basically means focusing on defense instead of offense. Might have to adapt...
Scarab still pwns. And DM: Spartans and Honor Guards VS Infantry? Honor Guards without a doubt. But vehicles? HA HA! Honor Guards barely effect them, while Spartans can JACK the vehicles, making them completely useless against Spartans.
Still, my favorite is still the Covenant.
