My friend got me it for christmas. I'd heard of it before but never played it, and it's really fun( Exept the bit where the girl mutates into the NMC(Neo-mitochondrian creepyguy ) , that can't possibly be fun. ). I just started truly playing it today, and i'm up to the part where Aya has to fight the retarded guy with the gas mask and the flaming machete ( Again). I think This game's a great RPG/horror mix so far, With a Real-time battle system(sorta) And combining aspects like those of DC and RE with the FF7-8 games.

Explain it?

It's a survival horror game made by squaresoft.
It's set in our world, but with a few extra bits stuck in.
Living inside the cells of all organisms are micro-cells called mitochondria.
Some say(in this game) that it was a part of an organism that the first bacteria absorbed at the start of life on this planet.
Other debating scientists theorize that the mitochondria may have purposely merged into the cells of bodies as nucleic parasites.
Anyway, The year is 2000. and aya brea is going on another case.
2 years ago, the mitochondria awakened inside the cells due to an over populated body of a woman. Codenamed mitochondria eve. In the first game aya fights the horrid mutations and finally defeats eve. Now, the NMC's(Neo-mitochondrian creatures) are almost wiped out. Untill one day, at a skyscraper hotel.....

Yeah, not many have heard of it since squaresoft's/ENIX's only ultimate games were FF and KH. Oh yeah, this game's made by squaresoft. Forgot to mention....

I'm up to this annoying bit in the desert (Country town, kinda like RE5 area). I mean, I went to comfort a crying girl in an abandoned bathroom and what does she do? Mutates into a bloody skull/ape/chicken/weirdo thing that jumps at me, that's what!
Only person in the town is this half-sexist county man, with a Duo-barrel.
Even though I don't like him, i think it's safe to follow a guy with a boomstick. Wait, was there something wrong with that last sentence?

What system is it for and dose it have good graphics

It's an oldie. It's for the PSX and it has Improved DC2 graphics.

WTF is a PSX and what are DC2 graphics?

Man this game is starting to bug me. Litterally. Why do the mutant Invisible water-spider NMC's come after me? Is it because i threaten them to beat it by blowing them up with a shotgun? Most probably. And there's other new enemies where i'm up to too. There's slugs that blow up when you touch them. Annoying hard-to-hit mosquito mutants. And those goddamn invisible bugs! I'm stuck on the part where I have to get petrol for the car.

EDIT: I got past the petrol. The character has a shower, and meanwhile..... A GIGANTIC MUTANT 3-STORY HIGH FAT MUTANT GUY, WITH A MEGANORMOUS FLAMETHROWER STICKING OUT OF HIS JAW, IS LUMBERING OVER TO MY MOTEL! Although, It was easy to beat; Duck fire, run away when it flames. Shoot when it roars(More like trumpets ) and when it draws it's arm back run like hell to the nearest nook or cranny you can find. Now I'm up to a part where I have to fight this massive vacuum garbage ANMC.
