I'm amazed this topic doesn't exist!

(knowing my luck it probably does and i just can't find it :P)

But anyway, people can post their Playstation 3 PSN ID's here.

Mine's o-eternal-o

The only online games i have are Metal Gear Online, and Little Big Planet.

I will be getting Tekken 6 when it comes out though

Feel free to add me though regardless of the games you have

I would make an XBox one too, but i don't have one :P

PSN: TyrannoTitan.

Haven't played much online...LOTR: Conquest is about the only one I've played online. For MGS4, I've stuck to the single player for now.

I'll add you next time i'm on ^-^

You've GOT to play MGO. I'm obsessed with it. Although, i'm no pro. And there really are some pros on it. But there is a beginner lobby, so it's more inviiting for new players.

I love playing games online. It adds so much more.... adreniline to it. It makes it far more exciting. Like the difference between playing laser quest and paintballing :P

Is LOTR good?

lol, I've heard good things about MGO, but I just can't imagine an online MGS game.

As for LOTR, yes, its very good. Its not particularly a good "story" game, but the multiplayer is really fun. IIRC, its like 16 players in total on a battlefield, so it can get pretty epic.

Really? A lot of people complain about lag, but it's not that bad. Most the time it's just people's crappy connection.

I can understand why you feel that way. But i bought... well, borrowed MGs3 Subsistence years ago and i played that online. That was really buggy, but i loved it. And MGO2 is even better :)

Yeah, i can't imagine the story having much depth. The only LOTR game i really liked was Fellowship of the Ring. I liked the RPG element of it.

Sounds cool. I've just known MGS to be rather slow and careful (As its a stealth game), hence my reluctance to see an online version. Regardless, sounds interesting, might check it out later today.

In Conquest, its basically a LOTR Star Wars: Battlefield, if you've ever played that. As I said, I just enjoy the fairly large amount of players that can appear in a single game, as it gives a very LOTR feel to it (Though in my opinion they could've gone higher, with, say, 32 people in total, but that might be a bit laggy).

Jesus christ I hated that game.

So how does PSN compare to X-box Live? Are they basically the same thing or what?

PSN is free to use, thankfully. Most of the downloadable content, of course, is not.
