..... D'OH, I MISSED!

Anyways, just got back from some Monster Hunting... and I have a new warning... if you ever, EVER see a very tiny Los during the HR 51 Double Trouble quest... ABANDON SAID QUEST IMMEDIATELY.

Allow me to elaborate: I had done all the HR51 quests and completed them a few days ago. The Double Trouble one was one I was able to do rather well. I've done it several times, and each time, succeded in it without a single death...

This time, however, it was a total mess.

The first try today, ended with me getting Wombo-Combo'ed by both Ian and Los, especially after the latter's poison claws attack. We retried it again, and once again, it was a dwarf Rathalos. This time, we managed to kill the Ian, but RIGHT when I said we had this in the bag... cue Los entering Rage Mode and OHKOing one of my hunter buddies with a fireball...

and no, a car bomb won't work. I check for that sort of crap on a daily basis.

Neither would putting nails on the road and coming out with a hitsquad. got weapons installed in the car.

1) I have no limo, ho. I'm the one behind the wheel.

2) forcing me off the road would just kick up some dirt. I'd drive myself back up and keep going. Also, odds are I'd run you into the back end of an 18 wheeler. I know my roads alot better than you do, and with the amount of crazy drivers I deal with on a daily basis, I've got alot more experience in dealing with some nutter trying to run me off the road.

3) Dude, My lineage leads back to Saudi Arabia [600 years ago my family lived there ]. Sandstorms are hardly a threat. it's the people from places like Iran that fear sandstorms. cause nobody in their family have seen anything like it. they're generally unprepared. but me? psh. normal. besides, if you were close enough to drive me into a sandstorm, you'd be in it as well. these things are as large as hurricanes.


as for Gremlin Los, I've slain several of them. annoying, but satisfying. a good challenge.



Gremlin Los is probably not the common nickname for it. that's my nickname for it. 'Gremlin' anything is just a small, annoying, excessively dangerous version of the normal. Gremlin Garuga in MHF1, now THAT, is something to fear. TT and IK would likely be able to tell you that first hand. I honestly wish I could face the Original Garuga in MHF2 or MHU. with MHU nearly completed [aside from one Nekoht mission and the Training School's missions], I'd need a really good challenge. will probably start systematically DLing and completing the online quests once I'm done.

And Gremlin Garuga, eh? I might want to take him on... or even better, unleash him on you!

Anyways, can't wait for SHRPG to be up and running... I've had plans for it for MONTHS now, but I onl ypresented the idea here once I had streamlined out my plots and ironed them out...

and if you think Gremlin Los is bad, I advise you not to try facing a Gremlin Garuga in MHF1. you wouldn't last 5 minutes...

@ KP: No you don't. The original Dwarf Garuga in MHF might as well have been an elder dragon it was so tough.

yes I do, G4E. when you are capable of soloing HR9 Elder Dragons and wyverns without even going through half your supplies, in 20 minutes or less, without dying, you start to crave a challenge. at present, the only creatures in MHU that I genuinely have trouble against are the Fatalis trio. all the others are easily manageable.

Fanfics are fun... when you're in the right nood, of course. If not, it can become hard to think of somethnig to write.

I love reading fan fics, but I can't seem to write them! I like writing about wars or big events in history. But I make them my own of course, their slightly accurate to history, but fictional. And when I say I like writing about wars I don't just mean the fighting, they just evoke a lot of emotions in people, makes stories more interesting!
