Just dealt with the Kut Kut tat wants to be a Rathian (Garuga). He isn't as bad as you made him out to be, G4E... Though I still got killed by a backflip that came out of nowhere...

He is in the original freedom.... it's mostly because he's fast and hits hard. Really, though, he IS pretty easy once you recognize his attacks.

If I recall correctly, in Freedom 1 every tail attack would poison a hunter hit. Ranging from the backflip to the basic tail rotation.

Yes, not to mention his fireball did OBSCENE amounts of damage unless you had rathalos level equipment (even then, it did lots of damage!)...

How the heck is anyone supposed to fight this thing without rage quitting? That damn wind barrier keeps pushing me back everytime I try to attack, which allows him to fire his wind gust and snowball me... I've failed that quest 3 times now... CAPCOOOOOOOOOOM!

I'm trying to geta thunder weapon... but I need more Machilite Ore than I have even on MH tri... and Machilite Ore's a pin to get... Time to ehad to the volcano!

Was talking to Gira. The farm they give you gives you Machalite ore on regular basis

Ah yes... the farm... Too bad it tends to give me more Iron Ore, stones, and Dragonite Ore (The second mining spot, that is), than Machilite Ore...

Finally decided to just pretend I was going up against Alatreon, and got out my ice longsword, and promptly kicked Kulsha's a** to the next dimension. Also managed to make a nice Kulsha hat... Now to complete the rest of the armor and use that for the rest of Low Rank...

I forget my low ranked armor up until level 5. At level 5 I made the Tigrex armor and kept with it until G-rank, where I went on to make Tigrex S armor. Its the one I use now still, though it is a bit weak against the guild G-rank quests (stuck on HR8 but too lazy to go make a new armor set)

I went Genprey - Tigarex - Silver Los - Akantor.

Silver Los armor is one of the most reliable ever.

I prefer Blango armor and Kusha armor.

@ Gira: Poison him; it helps, then get a thunder weapon.

Just stumbled across a nice source of Machilite Ore... Basarios. The only problem is that their hide's so frickin tough... But that's why bowguns exist...

Ugh, I HATE Basarios. Moreso than the Gravios, sicne it charges constantly (like Diablos, but with thicker hide and only digs once).
