Saying ANYTHING is the best piece of media made by mankind is an opinion of that single individual. I may watch GL for the hell of it, if I get time, but I can predict right now that I will not enjoy nearly as much as you do, Gira, because my tastes are entirely different (I've never been an anime buff, for one thing, and the subject matter of the show may not be something I'm even remotely interested in).
I could easily say MLP is the same way (I honestly don't think so, though; it's an excellent, high-quality cartoon, but that's the basic gist of it), and I highly doubt you would agree. Enjoy it? Yeah, sure, I think you'd like the show, but not as much as myself, or TT, or the thousands of other fans. The same thing is true for GL. I am not going to think it's awesome. Good? Quite possible, because I have seen anime exceed my expectations before. Even then, I can think of DOZENS, if not HUNDREDS of other TV shows or films (hell, even Flash shorts maybe) that I would prefer. It is nothing against the anime, and it is nothing against you. That's just the way I feel.
Expressing your opinion is all well and good, Gira, but when you start shoving it in other people's faces to get them to watch the same show, or look at something in a certain way, you're overdoing it, and you're working against your own goal. The more you annoy TT about it, for example, the less likely he's going to watch it.
Ah, that was a good rant.
