I FINALLY got a full set of dwarven armor. It looks kickass, and has pretty solid defense, too!

Nice,I only have the sword due to it's higher damage output than my previous best. The only other dwarven armour piece I ever found was the shield but for reasons of my carrying limit I had to leave it behind. It was in the hands of some Bandit Chief if I'm not mistaken I fought him last after taking down all his buddies

got a full set of plate armour, enchanted to boost my carrying capacity by about...21 points, i think. add to that an ebony shield and sword, and it adds up to a rather sturdy armour set. I'm now looking for pieces of ebony armour to replace the plate.

Is plate light or heavy armor?

Watched Cowboys and Aliens last night. It was a good flick and I was rather suprised at what the aliens had come to earth for.

G4E: Heavy. hefty armour, but powerful compared to everything else I had access to at the time [before then I was using a mix of Dwarven and steel armour. jumping to steel plate armour boosted my armour rating by at least 50 points]. Still not much good if you're standing face to face with an Elder or Ancient Dragon though :P

IK: Yeah. was a good movie. In fact, I consider it a perfect example of how Daniel Craig fits as an actor. He doesn't suit James Bond's suave, cool nature. That movie series simply does not suit his grit. It needs an actor like Brosnan or Connery to do a good job. However, Neither of those two [well, Brosnan at least. Connery has pulled gritty roles off well in the past] would do as well as Craig did in Cowboys and Aliens, BECAUSE he fits the grit perfectly.

@ IK: Now I'm tempted to see it. It looked dumb, but seeing how you enjoy it and we have similar tastes, I might rent it.

@ KP: That armor just popped up in my game, but it's damned expensive. Also, Blood dragons just arrived, and I can't kill them without some help. I think I'm going to need new equipment soon!

pssst: go help The Companions in Jorrvaskr. That's how I found my set of steel plate armour. through doing jobs for them. loot from side quests [even if it's off the NPC enemies in said quests] tends to be very good compared to other loot lying around.

It turns out that nord lady in the bannered mare has an almost complete set of steel plate armor, so, sicne she's a follower of mine, I might swap my dwarven armor with her plate armor and buy the helmet and boots later.

PS i already finished the companions quests. :P But thanks for the advice.

Took on G-rank elder Devil blos today using the first form of the Hypnocatrice SNS and killed him with four minutes left. I resorted to sleep bombing him, but I woke him up accidently before I could place the bombs due to using too long a combo and another time, even though I had put the Blos to sleep, when my cat emerged from healing, it decided to hit him for some reason and ruin my plan.

well, he plays with a log on a string rather than a ball of yarn, so that may be why. then again, that's just as likely to be a result as it is a cause...

Of course, good gear helps too.

Found a mod that adds a variety of dragons to skyrim as well as making the vanilla ones tougher and do more damage.Handy if you want a challenge, though unless your really hardcore I wouldn't recommend.I'll put it this way, giants and mammoths won't be able to save your bacon the whole reason the mod was made I think so only the dragonborn can kill dragons single handedly
