And I would sit back and laugh as they bash their heads off the figurative walls in frustration at yet another anime-addicted kid :P

Seriously. from the Japanese people I've met, it seems they generally carry a considerable amount of irritation at how anime has effected people's reactions to them.

I'm actually starting to take less and less cues from anime, and more and mor estuff from japanese mythology and mmedia in general... though I do still like Anime.

I do get your point, though.

Just by the way, I added an important little OOC part to my newest post in the DIRPG. Anyone interested in joining the game as a merc instead of just a dinosaur, read up. :D

Survival RPG.

Being a hard *** in an RPG where there isn't a no killing rule is kinda a bad idea.

I'm just going to say that the no killing rule was a suggestion by Doc IIRC (I believe in the early 80's pages of the RPG Requests topic).

Had I realized that so few people were going to join in the first place, therefore making the death of even one or two players (let alone three at once...) a crippling blow to the RPG, I wouldn't have agreed to that idea in the first place.

The extra NPC mercs were meant to counter that, but apparently I didn't bring enough...

Now with most of the major players dead or inactive, I don't have very high hopes for this RPG to go anywhere anymore (IK can't exactly defend against a GIGANTIC raptor pack with two NPCs and four terrible fighters as backup, and KP and CS are off doing their own thing).

Needless to say, I'm more than a little bit disappointed and am now going to bed. Good night.

Hey, atleast it was a fun ride...If IK makes it all the way to the end, I'll be proud. I'll be cheering him on the entire way. If not...

And Then There Were None... At this rate, someone's gonna need some class A plot armor...

Gira, you could've actually survived had you equipped your character properly. inadequate armour, and practically useless weaponry. a crossbow and a magnum revolver? the former is slow as hell, and the latter is too inaccurate to hit anything further than close-medium range with any reliability.

should've brought an assault rifle or SMG instead. that, or looted it off one of the dead team members earlier on/asked for one from anyone who had a spare weapon.

As it stands, I don't have very high expectations for Persephone's survival, but that rests in your hands, not mine. you CAN still make it. you'll have to be ******* awesome though :P

Great... I wasn't expecting a sort of Spanish Inquisition!

I actually WAS planning on making a sort of self-challenge when doing Persephone. I didn't want to go power-playing my way through, so I decided to make things challenging for me. Truth be told, I'm surprised Persephone lasted as lnog as she did. Were this the E-war Persephone though...

Alright, time to survive!

In KP's defense, DM, this IS a survival RPG. Its a bit silly that they were basically on a theme park ride, taking a scripted tour through the jungle with equally scripted deaths waiting for them.

It might've been a bit much, but that risk was inherent in the RPG.

Never said I was mad at KP. I'm mad at myself.

Overall, I just... don't care anymore. I give up. That d*mn RPG was barely fun for me anymore anyway. It was just turning into a chore.
