Same here... I've even tried watching Quest for Camelot to get inspiration to post in FRPG... and it backfired due to how cruddy the movie is... Though oddly enough I still love the film nonetheless...

Playing the fanmade Warriors game.

Finally kicked Brokenstar's scrawny a** after my nth try at fighting him.

Victory dance! 8D

G4E:I was like that when I tried to fight the death egg robot in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 back when I was younger. It had taken me a good while before I got to the boss and I didn't pay attention enough to realize that I couldn't jump into the boss when it's hands weren't at it's sides.

GF: he's the first major boss in the game, has about 10,000 hit points. More than that I think. He's mainly annoying because he spams poison moves at you, making you have to remedy your character just about every turn and costing you an opportunity to attack. @_@ That's nothing compared to the final boss though. Holy sh*t. Scourge has 65,000 hit points and several one-hit-kill moves.

@ IK: Urgh, I HATE bosses with stupid little secrets like that...

@ HF: Reminds me of the Balrog in The Third Age.... up until you fight the Witch-King of Angmar, he's the strongest creature IN THE GAME: 75,000 hit points. Plus, he hits like a freight train and can drain both HP and AP (substitute for MP in that game) with one attack. Overall, a pain in the ***.

And that final boss.... I hate bosses with insta-kill moves....

Not only does it take forever to get him down to minimal health, you can't use status moves on Scourge either, which makes beating him a mega pain. Poisoning or paralyzing moves activate his special ability, which knocks out everyone in your party at once. The one time I tried it I almost threw my drink across the room out of pure rage. >_<

... It's times like those that I love to rage at the game makers...

Reminds me of when I took on a Barioth the first time... I thought FLash Bombing him would make him easier... I was dead wrong...

GF: tell me about it. It went roughly like this; "I know! I'll poison him, then he'll take damage for a couple of turns that's roughly equal to ten percent of his Max hit points. 8D ....wait, he has a special ability? Aw SH*T! Now I gotta start the fight all over. AGAIN. D:< Why were we not warned about this sh*t?!"

HF:That reminds me of the Egg Viper battle in Sonic Adventure in a way. After you deal the last hit, eggman tries to take you out by hitting part of the walkway that your on to make you fall into a bottomless pit. Luckily, Eggman only has to be hit 7 times to beat him in that battle.

That's easy street compared to fighting Scourge. XD I was playing on my grandma's computer because there's literally nothing else to do at her house. I was underleveled for the first couple dozen times I tried to take him out. Took hours of effort, and a LOT of grinding to get my character (you play Firestar in this game) up to level 71. Even then, he knocked out each cat in my party once or twice before I finally turned him into wormfood. Good thing Firestar knew a move that could revive them all by that point. >.>

@ IK: That reminds ME of Humbaba from FFX-2... when you kill it, it casts meteor, meaing you can lose after you kill it.

G4E:It's also like the Iceman fight in Mega Man 1, where if Iceman's projectiles can damage you even after he's destroyed.
