The payment deadline passed and I wasn't aware they were having trouble with my card, so they suspended my account briefly. I fixed it though.

When my Dad asked me what was something I wanted for Christmas, I told him any Nic Cage movies he could find.

XD

Excellent.

This Christmas will probably be spent watching completely non-season-appropriate movies. Horror movies, most likely.

*the most evil of laughs*

Same, probably. If only because the animated The Grinch Who Stole Christmas is the only acceptable Christmas movie.

The only Nic Cage movie I've seen is Wicker Man, so

Had to start Mass Effect 2 over again due to getting the Reaper IFF too soon, but now I'm at the home stretch.

RIP

Yeah, I made sure that was one of the last things I did. Even though it was my first run and I wasn't expected to get it right, I would have felt terrible if I didn't have the chance to do everything I possibly could to get everyone back out alive.

Beat all three games. 1 and 2 multiple times. I don't intend to play 3 again though. Still a bit bitter over how the story ended.

I am proud to say I made it through the Suicide Mission with everyone intact.

ME2 complete. The rocket launcher was a bit too slow for my liking in hitting the final boss's weakpoints. Next time I'll probably just go with the collector particle beam.

I went with a good old fashioned nuke gun and the Widow Rifle.

On an unrelated note, merry Christmas guys, and an early happy new year. I hope next year is better for you than this one was, and wish you a lifetime of peace, prosperity, happiness...and all that good stuff :P

Mer Chrismis and all those other good holidays. And let's keep Carrie Fisher in our thoughts, shall we?

KP: I assume that the extended cut from ME3 was too little too late to make you want to play it again?

Yeah. By the time that came up, the combination of disappointing products, huge numbers of 'DLC' that should have been in the base forms of said products, and the ludicrous prices of said DLC just pissed me off. I've been boycotting EA. The last EA game I purchased, IIRC, was Mass Effect 3, and before that ME2. I haven't touched any other EA games since then [with the exception of Dragon Age 2, but I forget where in the timeline that fits]. In all said cases, it was strictly because Bioware were behind it, and they were a good studio.
