Preferring Night over Day

Postby LV-426 » Thu Jun 23, 2011 1:18 am

Does anyone else here prefer night over day? I have noticed that I am much more active at night then in the day. I love the dark, I love the feeling of mystery it brings and I love the feeling of danger it brings. You could call me a creature of the night. I usually don't fall asleep until at least until 5 am

Nah. I like the day. Night's too dark for me, and makes me anxious.

It's part of my job description as Webmaster to be highly active at night. because I'm 7 hours ahead of most of you, and more in the case of those of you on the West Coast. but as far as sleep is concerned, i much prefer night to day. I simply cannot sleep if there's even the slightest hint of light in my bedroom. my solution is to cut off all electricity in my room. from the moment there's enough light outside to change the tint of the edges of my curtains from the glow, sleep goes from an immediate, welcome action to a colossal task bordering on impossibility.

I am a creature who belongs to the night. XP though like KP, if there's too much light seeping into the room somehow, I can't sleep. Luckily I have thick blinds and the sun rises behind my house. Still, I'm most active when it's dark out.

I regularly sleep until 1 PM, and stay up until 4-5 AM.

So yeah, I like night more. Its way more peaceful.

@ KP: Sleep is impossible for you if light itself exists in your room? Oh what wonderful torture I can do with that...

I perfer nighttime personally, but I can sleep almost ANYWHERE at ANYTIME. Even if it's as bright as can be, I can sleep like a rock. The only problem? If it's too hot out. If the temperature is above 70 degrees, sleep is impossible. Heck, it has to be FREEZING or lower for me to get to sleep. Once I do fall asleep, however...

GF: It seems so, join us Gf, join us creatures of the night

Night is always more peaceful, I like to write at night or watch a movie. I tend to think more clearly at night

Gira, you couldn't pull off effective torture if the equipment, victim, torture chamber and instructions were right in front of you :P

and G4E, My biological clock is smashed into so many contorted pieces that there literally is not a time of day I dislike. sometimes if I'm in a particularly lazy mood I'll go to sleep at around 10 PM, and wake up at 4-5 AM the following morning, and spend the whole day active. usually happens on days where I have alot of things in mind. going to the barber, going to get something from some shop or mall or electronics bazaar, dealing with University stuff, hanging out with friends, whatever. so yeah. I'm a night AND day person. just depends on what kind of mood I'm in at the time.....as is the case with most things about me.

I love calling myself a creature of the night, it freaks people out so much. I love the night, I love the feeling of mystery it brings. I love the sound of chirping crickets, owls and howling wolves. I love the how it's the time that people associate with horror. But to me the night is more beautiful then the day
