ARPG repair and improvement topic

Got something to say that isn't fitting anywhere else? Post it here!

Stallo is right. in fact, STALLO was the one who pulled it off in ISS once....along with numerous other people...hence why this rule was put down in ARPG in the first place. but now we want to loosen it up. and CS, as helpfully suggested in TT's post above arguing against removing the rule: can animals speak English? this rule is restrictive because we're bound to one animal type. things get EXTREMELY boring really fast. the whole idea is to loosen it up so that the various players can communicate without ripping eachother apart...it makes for a more amusing experience...

Yep.

I've seen a Camel stare over into a Zebra Paddock, making weird noises.

Camel: I dare you to go bite that kid who is watching us talk
Zebra: Your on *approaches Stallo*

and on topic:
I think a good way to interduce some fun might be to upset the ecosystem of the Rpg. Such as a particular prey source nearly running out, leaveing the carnivours depending on it to go find food elsewhere, enroaching on other's hunting grounds

Very funny. :P

So basically your saying like:

In the Savannah region, herbivores become scarce, so Lions roame into...Forest Regions?

For godsake stay on topic people!
If you dont have a suggestion then take your idiotic rambleings to random land or the ewar sheesh.

and CiK: no, as that wouldnt have much of an effect. the lions arent going to be all that amazed at a bear (they would probably just eat it)

Then the wolves/ tigers eat the Hyena/Cheetah :P
Just one animal wont make much of a difference. That kindve thing already happens. It would need to be something triggering a NEED for that species to be there. Same reason why humans fight. We cant all share.

DOC: Oh yeah, the wolves and stuff have an advantage in the forest, where the Lion/Cheetah etc, have the advantage ibn the Savannah. oh and Doc I am talking about making a pair of Hyenas go in the forest and start building the population and the Hyenas adapt to their surroundings, you know their skin color changing and stuff like that

Well, Nature already does have interspecies being kind of nice to each other. I have a whole book on it. Crocs let certain birds go into their mouth, and the birds clean the croc's mouth. This is only one example. And, it dosen't have to be as realistic as possible to the extent were you can't do much. This is a text based RPG were dealing with here. Meant for entertainment purposes. So, I say remove the law in the ARPG, and the SRPG too.

But we don't want people having a croc allied with a LION, as in constantly following eachother, hunting with eachother, etc. Its completely bullsh*t. My reasoning is, ya, sacrifice some RPing options to keep the RPG from turning into a nooby landfill of bullsh*t posts.

CIK: Ya, it makes more sense. But not as in buddy buddy, spend all their time together. Thats just stupid. Allies, meaning one would help the other if one was in trouble, kind've like Crusher and Darkness.

Or, when one or the other is in trouble, the other pops up and rescues him/her? (Not everytime, animals arn't exactly super fast, all knowing heroes.)
