Might make sense, if there's a shocking plot twist involving his scar and the Horcruxes

That's an interesting idea. So then Harry comes to the conclusion that to kill Voldemort, he must kill himself

unless he can find a way to get rid of the scar without killing himself. if he finds a non lethal way, it will most hurt a lot.

Hmm...if it was non-lethal to Harry, then it would be non-lethal to Voldemort. It would be feasible too, I mean, exactly why was he left alive? (I may be missing something, as I said, it's been a while since I read the last book)Because he was the key to Voldemorts revival, why did he not blast Harry in the fourth book instead of Cedric? Because Harry was keeping him alive. *ends rant before it gets out of hand*

well, i think harry's the one who must fulfill the prophecy. in my conclusion, harry must fight voldemort to the death. once that fight starts, there's no backing down.

There will be no winner as if Voldermort kills harry he is killing himself.

harry and voldemort are evenley matched. if harry's scar is a horcrux, voldemort kills himself if he kills harry.

So that means...either they both die, or neither of them die

It's not, hasn't anyone read The Half-Blood Prince?

Dumbledore said Voldemort was going to make Harry's Death his final Horcrux but the curse as you know back fired, and as far as we know he did not kill until he Killed the Riddle's gardener and Dumbledore believes that he made Nigini or whatever his snake is called, his last Horcrux.

the snake is indeed one of voldemort's horcurxes. that mean's they'll have to find the snake and kill it to have one less horcrux to find.
