A dark room blinked into view.... everything tinged orange.... Two humans a few feet away... Their expressions, curious... Slowly, everything slid into its place in the Hornets mind.... Last he could remember... was... Kevin... In the middle of a forest.... or was it a field? Strangely... he wasn't sure.... The memory was damaged. He couldn't smell anything... Wasn't like his sense of smell was very effective anyway, but it was still strange for there to be nothing.... Then he remembered his situation.... He was a wreck... It was suprising that he could even see... Then he tried to groan, realising that this was the original iris Neeblestrix had built into him... No light amplification.... No analiseing... Not even any zoom.... At least it could rotate the slightest bit.... It was only then he realised that he hadn't even groaned. Speaker was broken...... One of the humans spoke, an old bearded man... "Yes... In better shape than it was before... I have been doing some work on fixing it up. I want to see if I can get it working again." The younger human spoke, a boy... The Hornet recognised his voice from the two people who had found him outside the farm house "You won't tell my mom will you? I PROMISED her I wouldn' touch it...." The old man chuckled and ruffled up the boys hair, saying kindly "Its ok... She never understood robotics much anyway.... Now, lets go up for lunch before Martha has our heads!" The boy laughed and the man led him away towards a wooden stairs near the back of the dark room, clicking a light switch before walking up out of sight, the Hornet being plunged into darkness....

Realiseing his luck, the Hornet tried to smirk, a single motor beneath the broken visor over his face whirring as it attempted the expression....

Kevin sat in Nebbletrix's chair behind the desk in the video store. He watched Sting, who was acting like he was going to eat his soul (The red droid from Portal?). After a few minutes, he yelled "Yo, Nebby! I got your cling crap!"

JoJo came up to an old house at the city limits. It was painted black and made out of wood. Behind the wooden eteirior was 4 feet of metal and it was a safe house. Soon after geting his powers, Blake mysteiriously got rich, you can guess how, and decided to build this, incase he was being hunted down for the chance he was seen. JoJo walked up to the door with out any knob or key hole. He reverted to his regular form after letting Yoruichi down. A tentical shot into the crease in the door, sliding the lock out of place and the door swung open. JoJo hastilly hurried inside

Yoruichi pulled her wings into her back, taking a step forward before she paused, not at all sure what she would do if something else happened to hurt the ones around her. I might just go insane...why am I torturing myself like this?! she asked, closing her catlike red eyes in an attempt to gather her thoughts.

Neeblestrix shouldered his way through the door into the shop, raising an eyebrow when he saw Kevin. He nodded and said thoughtfully "Ah, I guess you'll be wanting those guns...." He steped back into the storeroom behind the shop, near the stairs up this room. He picked out a black rectangular case and brought it in, hauling it onto the counter. He flicked up the latches and opened it, revealing a slender rifle, about as long as someones arm, a scope mounted on the top and a circular ammo drum, different clips with different symbols on them were located in various pockets around the case. He said aloud "This should suit your needs..."

The Hornet hung paitently from the clamps keeping him suspended next to the work bench... the old man, whose name he had yet to discover, was busy replacing a few wires in his knee, which was handy as they led to a part of his diagnostics system. If the old man could fix them up, he might be able to make the rest of the repairs himself... the boy, he had worked out was named Martain. He enjoyed when the kid came downstairs, his conversations with the old man about what he was were usually funny. the boy had a great imagination, one of his theories was that the Hornet was actually an alien envoy sent to negotiate with the govenor, but a misunderstanding had led to his spaceship being shot down, so he crawled to the farm house.....

Sadly, Martain was apparently caught up with school most days...

Meanwhile, a circular drone zipped through the city sky, the hologram of a large bird projected beneath it, closeing in on the residence of one Valentino Leone... It angled down, swooping towards the huge building below... It was shaped like a ring, a fan on the inside acting as an internal heliblade to keep it airbourne, 2 arms folded along the front of the ring, 2 legs along the back. 2 small thrusters were atached to the top of the ring to make it faster... The machines crescent head poked foreward, held out by a mechanical arm, two blueish eyes scanning the building ahead. The drone swooped intowards the structures roof, slowing and dropping onto it, legs poping out to full length, bending to asorb the impact, arms hunched up, clawed fingers clicking.... It glanced around before releaseing a satisfied evil giggle, one of its hands swiveling around and folding back, a small gun barrel pokeing out, silently firing a large pin into the roof before moving around to fire several more....

Meanwhile, Valentino was in his office, busy sorting out various deals he had planned. across from the large rosewood desk was a cream-coloured wall with wooden panelling and several 5 foot wide, 2 foot tall black spots halfway up the wall, lining the entire wall from right to left. on the roof, three security guards were patrolling, watching for a threat. "Hey Tony, go get us a coffee, will ya? i'm thirsty" called one guard. "Like hell i'm getting somethin' for you. you do it" responded Tony. "Tony, if i could, i would. but if i go, what's to stop an attacker from gettin' to the boss?" responded the guard. "Oh riiiiiiiiight. what're you gonna do, Mike? scare it off with that ego of yours?" responded Tony hotly. "Ugh...shut up, both of you. my sister's brats sound more mature than you sometimes" grumbled Rick, the oldest of the three guards and the most skilled of them. "Mike, go get the coffee" he said. "Hey. Why should I do it?" responded Mike. "Cause he said so!" interrupted Tony with a sneer. "Because you're the one who suggested it" said Rick, straightening his tie and leaning against one of the large Crates on the roof, which usually carried random stuff like ropes, wires, various tools and duct tape, screws and nails. they were used for when undergeared workers came along to install one thing or another for the building's top two floors, which belonged to Valentino personally on busy weeks when he couldn't retreat to his mansion. "Fine" mumbled Mike as he headed off to the cafe downstairs to get the cups of coffee for him and the others...

The drone peaked up momentarily, watching the guards from behind the large wooden crate. He ducked back down again, an impish giggle coming from it. He finished firing the pins into the roof, organised in a pentagon, right over Valentino's office.... He fired one last pin into the center of the shape, pulling wires out from it and connecting them to each pin before scampering away and putting two figures up to the sides of its head momentarily. Suddenly the end of each pin exploded, driving charges down through the roof, the central pin explodeing and throwing rubble into the air. Quickly, the assassin poped up, scampering over to the small crater, the material within it creaking as it neared giving away. The drone exclaimed through a recording of some tv show "Tally ho!" It jumped into the air, the hole giving away, rubble falling to the room below as the drone dropped through it, landing amongst the wreckage.....

Kevin whistled, picking up the rifle in his black gloves. He eyed the weapon through his mask and said after a moment "Yes, yes, this is nice, tell me, weapon stats? How much range this thing has to hit a target, ammunitionn.."

Neeblestrix folded his arms and explained "Its called a Bass rifle. I invented it... It used to be the hornets, but he is slightly dead right now... it can fire beams of consintrated sound, able to break windows and damage internal organs from short range. it takes 12mm slugs, 50 slugs a cartridge. fires them at speeds rival to a railgun, can peirce nearly anything. Can be set to fire silently, or more correctly, at pitches unhearable by human ears, be careful around dogs though, if you have them, certain grenades can be attached to the barrel and launched fair distances, but only I have those and in very limited supply. watch the recoil though, can be fairly tough at times.... Scope can be set to IR, night vision and even a heightened X-ray based version, but thats mainly expairmental... needs a good targeting system to effective, which your brain is unlikely to have."

Neeblestrix said plainly "No. Its honest truth. My brain doesnt have one either. Well, you have what you need...." Neeblestrix hoped the annoying child would recognise the obvious dismissal...

Yoruichi finally decided she had nothing left to lose and followed JoJo, making sure her fire was safely contained in her body. She didn't want to take the risk of accidentally burning anything if she was startled.

"What the hell?!" exclaimed Tony as he eyed the smoking hole in the cieling of the Don's office. "****! the Don is gonna be PISSED about this!" he said, looking over to Rick to find he was already gone...

"What the hell is this?" said Valentino as he got up from behind his desk, his golden Cobra head-handled black walking stick held in front of him, beneath both hands as he eyed the rubble...

The mysterious drone popped out of the rubble suddenly, cackleing madly, it pulled one hand up, the fingers folding back and a portion of its wrist slideing up to replace the hand. Its arm shot out, a gun barrel appearing at the end of the transforming hand, lighting up with gunfire as it spat bullets towards the man behind the desk....

Neeblestrix turned around with a grunt, sitting down at the shops counter, not really expecting any customers after the bad rep the shop had got for mutant attacks.

several thudding sounds were heard as the bullets made contact, penetrating the suit, no blood coming forth. he crouched behind the desk and a bleeping sound was heard as the black panels on the wall split diagonally and slid behind the wooden panelling around it, a series of high pitched whirring sounds coming as several small mechs flew out, blades spinning all around their forms as a three barrel micro-gatling gun on the front of each droid, began to rotate, their glowing green 'eyes' rotating and turning red as the barrels of all the 20 something droids opened fire on the bot...

The drone nimble rolled to the side, bringing up its arm, rattleing off bullets towards the aggressing droids, one of them was thrown back in a cloud of sparks. The assassin's hand reappearing and grabbing a pin on its left wrist, pulling it back and releaseing a missile, the tiny projectile arcing through the air and colideing with one of the droids a miniscule explosion consumeing it, the intense heat destroying to bot. The Assassin stumbled back as the bullets rattled into its thin frame, one catching the side of its head and blowing the flat panel to the side, momentarily throwing it off balance. It's machine gun came up again, this time sweeping across the room rattleing off shots into the airbourne droids...

A door was kicked open behind the droid, and it was sent hurtling across the room, colliding with one of the flying droids, the pair of them slamming into a wall and the defense droid exploding as it's blades bent against the concrete wall. "You ok, Boss?!" called Mike, holding an MP5 in his hand. "About god damned time you turned up! if it weren't for the armour i'd be dead already!" said Valentino, annoyed. "Sorry, boss"...

The drone reached up, grabbing the smaller airbourne droid and pulled it out from behind itself flinging it away. The machine poped off the wall landing onto its stilt like legs, its left arm rotateing around, the plateing folding back to reveal a cylindrical weapon with a blue glowing tip. A recording played through the machines speaker in a russian accent "Say hello to my little freind" The weapon hopped back a warping echo spreading through the room as the blue bolt was launched out of the weapon, hammering into the bodyguards chest and flinging him backwards through the door way, smoke rising from the weapons tip....
