Nyx shrugged. "He's more of her counselor now," she said. "I mean I'm the one she jokes and pals around with and we share some girly secrets, but Thanatos is the deep one." She never really noticed how much Thanatos actually contributed. "He's the one you can turn to, to tell your deepest secrets to and he'd keep his lips shut about it," she said looking into her glass and swirling the liquid.

[The Kingpin]

Drake grunted. "of the lot of you he's probably the one who talks least" he said as he sipped the last of his drink and poured himself more...

[Shade]

"That's because he listens," Nyx said now truly understanding that silent, observing aura he always carried. "He might not be the greatest speaker, but he is a great listener." She kept staring at her drink, then chugged the rest down and then she reached for another...

[Zephyr]

Dreig and Ray had been talking silently outside, and apparently it went well with smiles coming from the brothers and laughs from Ray.

Well i guess thats all then, you should go get some rest. Ray stated as his hands sank into his pockets. Thanks Ray... thanks for coming back. Dreig said as he headed to the door and walked in. He stood by the door as he closed it behind him without looking in anyones direction.

"Reminds me of myself" said Drake as he poured Nyx another drink, putting the bottles back on the table and continuing to swig his own...

[Shade]

Nyx raised an eyebrow at him. "You?" she asked. "You're more of the leader type." She sipped from her glass. "You give orders more expertly than giving advice," she said.

[The Kingpin]

"I only act as leader when i need to. otherwise, i preffer to keep quiet unless someone asks for my opinion or advice about something" he said simply as he took another sip of his drink...

[Shade]

"Hmph," Nyx grunted. She took another sip, then layed her head back and closed her eyes. This is nice, just sitting and talking, she thought. Odd that none of the other guys thought of that.

Thanatos sighed as he stared up at the ceiling. Dawn was just peeking out above the hills and yet he couldn't sleep. He threw back the covers and got up slipping on a plain whiet t-shirt. He walked down the hallway and out onto the balcony of the Dining hall. He looked at the old grand piano and he smiled. A little music always calmed him...

Drake closed his eyes, enjoying the heat of the fire and sipping his drink, emptying the glass and putting it on the table...

[Shade]

Thanatos sat on the stool and looked at the keys. He tried to conjure up a song that could put him at ease, there was a lullabye that was very faded in his mnd, but he set his hands on the keys and played.

Nyx could here piano music somewhere, but her drowsiness was clouding her mind she couldn't tell where it was coming from. She started to drift off, enjoying the heat of the fire and Drake sitting next to her...

Fitz flicked the scope up.

he twiddled a few dials on the scope, the eyepiece fading into focus, revealing a large stained glass window.... He clicked a button. The image flashed green momentarily and then held. A small green spot was visible through on the window....

He smirked.. everything going to plan...

He calmly pulled the trigger, the gun hopping on the spot, a silent whistle echoing out. A second of nothing....

Blanko was standing amongst the crowd, by the left wall... The other vampires attending the party were mumering, awaiting the elders speech. The grey haired man stepped up onto the podium, adjusting a microphone.... Blanko cleared his throat into his mic... A few seconds later, the stained glass window in the back of the room shattered, glass being thrown outwards, screams of suprise and fear calling up. The elder stumbled back and then toppled. Heads turned towards him, a large hole in his chest, red smoke wafting out of it. Simultaneously the heads turned back to the stained glass window. Screams exploded through blankos ears, people running towards the doors in shock and fear....

Drake enjoyed the music he was hearing, listening to the rhythem and eventually beginning to hum it, pouring himself another drink and looking over at the sleepy Nyx, a warm smile on his face. "You alright there, Nyx?" he said between his humming, making a mental note to try and play Hotel California on that piano later. he was starting to feel drowsy himself...

[Zephyr]

Ray sat on the porch, Father, i had to tell him, forgive me, but now... my mind is clear of all guilt. I'm proud of myself, are you? he said looking up at the sky.

Dreig stood in the entrance way of the den silently staring at Drake and Nyx with a smile on his face. With a twist he stepped away from the corner and headed to the dining hall pulling up the end chair and sitting down in it laying back and listening to the music as he closed his eyes. Everythings going to be fine now, i just know it.

[Shade]

"Hm?" Nyx asked and opened her eyes partly. She smiled when she finally figured out where the music was coming from. "Thanatos is on his piano again," she said drowsily and decided to finish the rest of her drink.

[The Kingpin]

Drake smiled. "Need to ask if i can get onto that thing sometime. it's been ages since i last played a tune" he said, finishing the drink in one gulp and relaxing in the couch with Nyx next to him, deciding that, perhaps, he could let the cases wait until around afternoon....

[Shade]

Nyx raised her eyebrow again. "You play?" she asked a little more awake now.

Thanatos had closed his eyes and was also losing himself in his music, as he always did. He was actually starting to remember some of the lyrics...

"You learn alot in 800 years" he said with a chuckle. "Hotel California's one of my favourite ones though. sounds really good on a well tuned piano or guitar" he added...

[Shade]

Nyx smiled at Drake. "Plays guitar too," she whispered. "You two could be brothers!" Except for the fact that they look nothing alike and they seem to have different values, she thought.

[The Kingpin]

"If i HAD a brother, maybe" he said with a smirk. he loosened his neck with a series of cracks, before looking at the bottles, which were nearly empty, perhaps containing two glasses worth each. "Want a last glass or two?"...

"Sure," Nyx said reaching out her glass. "Anything else I need to know about you?" she asked.
