Nyx giggled and walked out to the lake as well. Suddenly she broke into a run. "Last one in is a fledgling!" she called back to Drake.

The scene changed gradually and she was back in her room, but she was staring at Nyx and they were playing 'War' on the rug. "Two Jacks, now we go to war," Nyx said and laid down one of her cards, a Queen. "I win!" Diana said as she laid down an Ace. Nyx glared and pushed the pile of cards toward her. "Come on, there's a slight off chance that you'll win," Diana tried to reassure her friend. The scene changed again and she was watching Thanatos play on the grand piano. Once he looked up he glared at her. "What are you looking at?!" he called up to her. She shook her head and tried to duck away behind the door. Her life was flashing before her eyes and oddly enough, Siete didn't pop up once, all the great times with her friends in her slave days and her free years, that was all. And she couldn't be more happier...

Drake smirked, going into a sprint and suddenly appearing at the foot of the lake. he looked back at Nyx and laughed. "I love doing that". and with that he dumed the towels and his gear, a smug look on his face...

Nyx glared and kicked into high gear, jumping into the lake. "Ha, I still win!!" she said as her head came up. She shook her head and water splattered everywhere.

"it wasn't a fair win though" said Drake with a smirk. "I still had all that stuff to dump". and with that, he dove in after her, making sure to land as close as possible. as he popped up, noting the soaked look of Nyx, he smirked. "Whoops". above, the sunlight drenched them in warmth as it rose higher into the sky...

Nyx glared at Drake and splashed him back. "Whatever you're still the fledgling," she protested. She looked up at the mansion and smiled. "I hope Diana's sleep won't be interrupted this time," she said.

"Remember that same fledgling is the reason you're in the sun" said Drake with a smirk. hearing the comment about Diana, he nodded. "I hope so...what was it that Thanatos and Diana were suggesting on our way back from the warehouse?" he said, having become curious about it...

Nyx cringed she didn't like bringing up past relationships. "Well, it's not like I was like Thanatos after we were free," she said. "I went out into the world and I met a people that were very good friends for awhile and then we lost track of each other." She sighed and laid on her back looking up at the sky. "There were these two guys I met a few years back and like I said they're very tight with the heads of the clans and they know everything about anything," she explained. "But I'd rather not revisit those memories of the days I spent with them."

Drake nodded. "Well, i've given the call to Brimstone to hunt down Siete and make sure they're accurate about his position. hopefully next time they'll get the right info. in the mean time...some time soon i may pay a visit to one of my old friends in the Vampire hunting community...maybe i'll be able to pin him down that way" he said as he moved his hands and legs to keep himself afloat...

Nyx furrowed her brow in deep thought. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to try the vampire way, she thought curiously. She closed her eyes and shook her head. No way, I can't let Drake see them, not after all this, she thought again...

Thanatos laid down on the sofa his eyes closed and his mouth slightly open for air. He had played to try to lull everyone into a peaceful sleep, but seeing as he didn't want to go into his own room he decided to lounge on the couch instead. He suddenly felt something nuzzle against his arm, he opened his eyes drowsily and saw Diana try to make room for herself. He was a little confused, but then he saw that her eyes were closed, whatever she was dreaming it had to be good, so he scooched over and she laid down next to him. He looked left to right then placed his arm around her and closing his own eyes. Finally no bad dreams, he thought and immediately fell back asleep...

Drake, meanwhile, had dived below the surface, and was swirling around Nyx like a shark, finally slipping above the surface behind her and wrapping his arms around her, giving her a kiss on the neck. "Worry about thinking later. enjoy yourself for now" he almost whispered in her ear, as he kept moving his legs to keep the pair of them afloat...

Nyx smiled and slipped easily out of his grasp and under the water. She started to fiddle with him. She slid her hand around his waist feeling the impressive six pack, then slid back to the surface and slid her hands up and down his back. She went back under and plucked at his foot and his hand...

Drake twisted himself as he dove under, facing Nyx with a smirk as he dove down under her, grabbing ahold of her leg and dragging her upwards, ticking her on the stomach before letting her go and pulling her topside. "I may not swim that much, but don't tempt me to start getting sneaky" he warned, a sly smirk on his face...

Nyx giggled and blushed. "It's my job to bring out temptation, don't fire me from my job!" she said and giggled again.

Drake smirked. "you can't say i didn't warn you" he said, before diving underwater, just as a series of tugs began occuring around the various strings of Nyx's outfit. after a number of them were almost ready to completely come lose, he came up again, the same sly smile on his face again...

"Now see, that's what I'm talking about," Nyx said sneaking her hand down to the strings to try to tie them again. "You make yourself such easy prey." She started to circle Drake. "If you were a human I'd have you sucked dry long ago," she said.

Drake smirked, saying "I'm here as long as you are...want to lie in the sun or swim, i don't mind". he went under, coming up behind Nyx. "Although...now that you mention it" he breathed as he gave her a gentle kiss on the neck, just barely letting his fangs graze her skin slightly as he did so. "...maybe that isn't such a bad idea"...

Drake ran his hands through Nyx's hair as she kissed, and met her with his own as she reached up to eye level. he noticed that they were just out of their depth in the water, the towels and gear all nearby. "Why do i get the feeling you've already made up your mind on that?" he said as he broke the kiss for a moment as he let himself drift just within his depth before wrapping his arms around Nyx in an embrace...
