Thanatos sighed and stretched out on the floor, a little nap wouldn't hurt him. Diana kept staring at the fire with such intensity, it was as if she was feeding the flames with her stare. Nyx turned her head to Drake waiting to hear his next masterpiece...

an idea struck Drake. the mood wasn't right for the lyrics, so he wouldn't sing it, but the music itself was good enough to compensate. reaching into his pocket, he produced an ivory coloured pick, and began to play a Spanish tune, the song in question: Enrique Iglesias' 'Could i have this Kiss forever'...

Nyx sighed as the tuned played out, she recognized the song, but said nothing. Diana looked down at Thanatos and felt a smile tug at the corners of her mouth. Thanatos had closed his eyes in a blissful sleep, but as always his mouth was slightly opened for air. She looked at Nyx and Drake and decided that they were too engrossed in the song to notice. She reached her hand out to his face and traced the fine elegant jaw and cheekbone. He looks so innocent, too innocent for me, she thought and put her hand back on Raksha's fur.

Nyx saw a small movement at the corner of her eye and had a fleeting glance of Diana tracing Thanatos' face. That girl flip-flops more than I do, she thought then turned her attention back to Drake...

Drake continued to play the tune, getting evermore intricate in the tune though his focus remained on Nyx and the others, a smile on his face at the sight of Diana tracing the features of Thanatos' face with her fingers, before his hawk-like eyes returned to Nyx, his smile warmer now and his tune seeming to get just a bit more emotional as he looked into her golden brown eyes, his fingers seeming to play the tune by their own will, as if they knew the song and didn't require Drake's focus to play it...

Nyx smiled warmly at Drake and stared back into his eyes. Diana looked at Drake this time with more interest, then she turned her gaze to Nyx, both were staring at each other with such love it nearly broke her heart. So long since I have felt that love, she thought. She looked down at Raksha, who looked up at her and it seemed that the same misery she was feeling was reflected in those bright yellow eyes...

Drake brought the song to a strumming end, the tune echoing within the Guitar for a few moments as Drake relaxed, his hand dropping from the guitar and resting in his lap as he looked at Nyx, then at Diana and the unconcious Thanatos...

Nyx looked at Diana and suddenly felt guilty for some reason. The vibe that was coming off of Diana unnerved her and she looked at her with a worried expression. Diana looked back at her and shrugged, giving a half-hearted crooked smile. "What now?" Nyx asked.

"You know the name of the 'Prince' of New York?" said Drake as his hand began to slowly pluck at the strings, random notes hinting towards an origin in the song Hotel California...

"Not really, no," Nyx said. Thanatos sighed slightly and stirred in his sleep. Out of force of habit, Diana rested her hand on his head and stroked his hair comfortingly. Nyx looked at Diana who had turned her attention back to the fire and was absently stroking Thanatos' hair. She raised he eyebrow at her and shook her head turning her attention back to Drake.

"Wow, that's well informed," Nyx said. "But I think we should take Vincent's advice," Diana suddenly spoke up. Nyx looked at Diana with a stern look. "I haven't followed his advice when I was with him, certainly not going to listen to it now," she said. "And since when did you ever listen to anyone's advice?" "Since I realized that my friends lives are on the line," she snarled and turned her eyes to Nyx. She shrunk back a little when she saw the flames reflect against her cold green eyes...

"I'm here to make sure you don't have to worry about risks like that. now, tomorrow i'm going to see Alexander. he gives me the information, he's dead, nobody knows i even exist. i keep going until i've pinned Siete to the ground and flayed him" said Drake sternly, his icy blue eyes seeming to glint red for a split second...

"No one except Siete!" Diana burst. "He'd be bragging about it by now!" Raksha whimpered, feeling his mistress' discomfort. Thanatos finally opened his eyes slightly and turned to Drake. "She is right you know," he said drowsily.

"In that case, i'll kill each one of the influencial Vampires i come across one at a time, with a note asking for Siete's location until either all of them are dead and the Vampiric community is plunged into chaos, or i get Siete's location, accurate and undeniable. I'm sure after they start seeing the really powerful ones around getting gruesomely hacked to pieces and left to disintegrate in the sunlight, they'll start thinking about complying to demands" said Drake simply, having put his guitar down now, the pick in his pocket once more...

Diana scoffed and went back to stroking Raksha. "You make it sound so easy," she said smuggly. Nyx furrowed her brow at Diana, why was she making so many excuses?

"You don't know what you're getting yourself into!" Diana snapped as she jumped to her feet. Now Thanatos looked at her with concern. Diana looked around at Nyx and Thanatos' faces and nearly burst into tears. "It's just... I can't do this!" she said and ran out of the mansion...

"No, I'll go," Thanatos said and stood. "No one is in the right position to talk to her, but me." He walked out of the mansion then broke into a run toward the forest.

Diana pushed her way through the trees, tears streaking her face. Why did she always have to rope her feelings into herself then let them out in like a tempest? She heard someone following her, but she kept on running not really caring if one of the others was coming after her or not...

Nyx watched as Thanatos left then turned back to Drake. "This is bad," she said simply...
