Space E-war

Where good and bad RPGs and E-wars go to die.

"A race of droids created by the Forerunners," replied Grievous. "All I know is that they turned on their masters after they tried to destroy them, once they gained sentience. I had a run-in with them a while back. It wasn't very fun, especially since they threatened to bring about the end of the galaxy when they decided that organic life was a threat."

A Shortsword burst through atmosphere, releasing a stream of bombs across a area near Vassek, vaporizing every Dalek troop in the blast radius, allowing the Vardian forces (now considered allies for the time being) to get closer to the tower. The Shortsword flew back up to where the Wolf's Bane was orbiting, ready to reload more ordnance...

The Assassin replied in a tone of surprise "A threat? Strange." it looked to Spectre and said plainly "You are correct. Now tell me, Spectre. What makes you think you are talking to a machine? Or is that not what you are trying to imply?"

the Vardian armed forces moved into Vassek, troops rapidly filling the hallways and stairwells, as Serephir and his men were now walking down the hallway to the landing pad, seeing Grievous, Spectre and Lissarkh in the distance, surrounded by other figures...

meanwhile, the sky directly above Vassek was swarming with various Vardian aircraft. at lower altitudes helicoptors filled the skies, eliminating any enemy infantry visible, while the high speed fighters flew past at higher altitudes...

Spectre casually walked forward, raising a hand as he flicked the machine's metal body, taking a step back. "That is why. You are made of 100% artificial materials, unless the Maricans like harvesting organs. That makes you a machine." he droned matter-of-factly...

Grievous turned to Serephir as he approached, saying, "Ah, General, excellent timing." Before he could go any further, a silvery figure emerged from the ground next to Serephir, turning into a exact clone of him. The T-1000 tackled Serephir viciously, throwing him near the edge of the landing pad and letting him skid along the ground, dangerously close to the edge. Grievous activated his Lightsabers, slashing one through the machine's torso. The blade didn't do anything except create a silver slash mark across the T-1000's gut. As the wound sealed, the machine looked up at Grievous and smirked. "What? Surprised?" The T-1000 kicked the cyborg in the gut, making him stumble back.

The door leading to the landing pad exploded violently, and a small group of Daleks and T-800s marched out into the open, flanking the Dalek commander, who laughed. "You should have escape while you could! Now you all shall be exterminated!"

"I guess chatting time is over..." Spectre droned as he whirled around to face them, stealth camouflage activating, disappearing from sight...

the T-20s opened fire on the Daleks as Serephir leapt to his feet, blades drawn. the VAMCEB soldiers collectively opened fire on the T-1000, one firing at it with an anti tank rifle, the recoil knocking their shoulder back, though the armour's compensation system minimised it. "One way or another, the Daleks' presence on this planet has ended" he said. above, one of the massive destroyers shot one of the remaining HK craft, the machine being vapourised instantly. meanwhile, below, the Aerial APCs rose towards the peak to allow the troops and allies to board. in anticipation, 8 Valkyrie gunships rose up around the landing pad. "Surrender now, and your death will be a quick and painless one. resist, and you'll see a much worse fate" warned Serephir, his mind currently entirely focused on the T-1000, though his warning was directed to the Daleks generally...

A hail of fire erupted from the ARIS squad. Bullets ramming into the T-800's with unerring accuracy. Within moments, most of the terminator's weapon carrying arms had been disabled. The Dalek soldiers were similarily pummeled with fire, the bullets concentrated on their heads, a number of shots making it through the shields and smashing into the metal with loud impacts, destroying some of their strange eye stalks.

To add to the carnage, the dropship's engines pulsed and the craft swivelled around, 4 guns attached to its 'head aiming at the new enemies and opening fire. The repeating disintergrators laying down a swathe of weapons fire.

It was a suicidal moves by the Daleks, coming out right it into the open and trusting their shields.

The commander laughed and the Daleks fired back, bombarding the enemy troops and ships. "We may have been defeated this day, but you won't be alive to see us again!" The T-1000 marched towards Serephir, arms turning into blades, but then Dare shouted, "Everyone, get on the ships!" She raised a remote and hit the switch. Suddenly, an explosion erupted from the ship above, which began wobbling, losing strength to remain in the air. The commander shouted, "Don't let them get away! Kill them all!" Even the T-100 paused, looking up at the shuddering ship as explosions erupted from its compromised hull. The ODSTs, Grievous, and Lissarkh charged into the APCs, not very eager to stay any longer...

The Commander was suddenly launched toward the edge of the platform, Spectre appearing with another low hum, having roundhouse-kicked the Dalek toward the edge, backflipping back out of the line of fire, turning around completely as he bolted toward the APCs...

As Serephir looked back at the Daleks, he gave the order for the helicoptors to fire, a plasma missile flying straight at the Dalek commander, another two going right at the T-1000 as the APCs took off, the Vardian crafts. Serephir leapt off the landing pad, having called in the Silver Scorpion just moments prior, it's stealth systems going down momentarily as Serephir landed on a wing, the craft hovering as he climbed inside, before leaving after the APCs, the entire group escorted by support craft. in the streets below, the Vardian Army eliminated what remained of the Dalek forces...

The dropship's clearance guns made short work of the t-800's. even if they survived the impacts, the kinetic energy sent them flying back through the door way. One of the Tank Hunter ARIS fired a shell from its Shrike-5 anti-armour guns. The noise of the weapon practically shook the landing pad, massive hydrolic pistons absorbing the weapons recoil. The targeted Dalek was left looking like a garbage can which had had a grenade dumped in it. The ARIS had no intention of 'getting away' not when the Daleks had effectively just declared war.

Reacting as one, the entire Drone swarm went weapons active once more. In the space of a few seconds, what was left of the Dalek fleet was ripped to shreds, Longbows doing most of the work. The damaged fleet didn't stand a chance.

The commander skidded to a stop and fired a full-power blast at the missile, destroying it completely, while the T-1000 dodged the ones fired at it by leaping into the air, landing near the Daleks. The furious commander turned on the rest of the enemy troops, only to have a massive chunk of his own ship come crashing down, crumpling the Dalek like a tin can and carving a huge chunk out of the landing pad, which began to collapse as it lost grip on the tower. More chunks of ship rained down, crushing ARIS' troops and Daleks alike, carving away more of the platform. One, particularly large explosion hit the landing pad, the sheer heat vaporizing the T-1000 and remaining Daleks...

The commander's ship fell apart, piece of the ship falling down the cliffside Vassek overlooked, crashing into the large ledge below. Grievous watched the ship be destroyed by the ODSTs' charge, and sent a message to all parties concerned: "Return to Geonosis, back to the conference meeting. We have business to attend to. I will be sending refugees back to the city and have my droids repair any damage that was sustained during the Dalek and Vong occupation."

a few soldiers in one of the few tanks close enough to Vassek itself to be at risk of being crushed, leapt from their stations and retreated, just as a lump of starship came crashing down, crunching against the tank, damaging it from the weight, though the lowermost parts of the massive tank would still be operable, though nobody wanted to try and find out. the rest of the Vardian occupation force remained to help secure the planet, planning to leave when the place was definately 100% secure...

meanwhile, the Aerial APCs, along with the Silver Scorpion, entered hyperspace, heading for the Executioner...

Spectre made a long mechanical sigh, slumping down into a seat on the aerial APC. The entire situation was out of control...first the Vong drive out the TGDA and defeat the combined fleet, only to be destroyed by the Marican rogue forces. The Daleks swooped in unexpectedly...such greedy behavior was suicidal...it interested Spectre in a way. "If I hear the word 'exterminate' one more time, someone is losing a leg." he droned to no one in particular...

The dropship picked up as much ARIS drones as it could before leaving the area, the others staying back and making no attempt to save themselves, only self destructing to ensure their wreckage couldn't be salvaged from the rubble. The ship feebly wobbled out of the explosion, heavily damaged... It didn't really make much difference wither or not it returned to the Harbringer that had deployed it.

The Malevolence headed back to Geonosis, while the rest of the TGDA fleet remained where they were, sending down less war-based droids to assist in securing the city again...

Meanwhile, a single, massive structure orbited the UNSC colony named Conga. The structure, an orbital defense platform, was called Nassau Station, and on the platform's bridge stood Admiral Preston Cole, one of the most famous men in the UNSC. In front of him was a line of Ensigns, all at consoles in front of a massive viewport. Suddenly, one of the Ensigns piped up, "Admiral, we've got contacts! Dalek ships." Cole narrowed his eyes. After the recent information gained from ONI, he was well-prepared to deal with this threat. "Prep the Super MAC and--" "Wait, more contacts. These are different and seem to be moving to engage the Daleks." "Are they in our database?" "Let me check..." The man's face drained of color as he stared at his screen. "Admiral, the contacts match those of Covenant Battlecrusiers and Carriers." An eerie silence settled over the bridge, until Cole finally broke it, "Send out an SOS. Tell HIGHCOM we have a problem." Cole stared at the holographic display that had popped up, showing the diagrams of known Dalek ships, as well as Covenant Assault Carriers and Battlecruisers, and sighed...

"Interesting situation over Trandosha. I'm surprised the Vong left...but looks like they wont be troubling anybody anymore for now. Nice job my Lord...however I'm still curious on why you remained in Geonosis" Admiral Thrawn asked, communicating with the Dark Lord of the Sith through private communication.
"It's not that big of a deal, I'm just curious to see what else Grievous has in mind. The Vong still exist and they dont know how to give up. But if the Dalek are a threat to me, I wouldnt mind help slaughter them myself" Revan said. The leader of the Empire turned to his wife who wasnt paying much attention to the conversation. She easily could have listened if she was interested.
"Well good luck...I'll continue to do on what you have asked" Thrawn replied.
The communication between the two ended. Revan then fully focused on the massive holographic screen in the room that continued to show the situation.

On Transhoda's surface, even with such hell that occurred on the planet, the three pods launched to the planet's surface from what seemed like ages ago hissed, springing to life once more. The large structures had blended into the rest of the city quite well, undisturbed by the three invasionary forces, and only now showed signs of activity. Various parts of the structures were pushed out, revealing the dark depths of the pods themselves...

the ships arrived at the Executioner, entering the gargantuan hanger and landing. as the Silver Scorpion landed, Serephir climbed out, a pair of senior officers saluting him as he walked towards the lift, the APCs' doors opening to allow the soldiers, Grievous, Lissarkh, Spectre and the unknown task force to disembark...

Blaze sat in his quarters, his weapons dismantled on his desk, the VAMCEB soldier maintaining his weapons and making sure everything was intact. on a small retractable table, one of the few bottles of Velinarian whiskey was propped up, a small shot-glass placed on top. Jarmun meanwhile, was in the recreation room, playing a game of billiards, having challenged Blaze to a round sometime in the near future. on a counter close to him, a cup of iced coffee stood, half empty. Jarad was in his room, fiddling with a bunch of electronics, inventing yet another strange gadget, an odd coloured liquid in a plastic cup not far from him. the various cleaning drones went about their typical duty, scanning the already clean ship for any form of dirt, their memory banks having completely forgotten the event with Thara several months prior...
