Berserker without a doubt. They are immune to small arms fire, after all.

Depends, are the Berserks immune to plasma weapons?, or just bullets?. If they don't, the Brute could easily use a Brute Plasma Rifle, besides, I don't think it could get up after a hit with the GH.

Ya I get the joke, I was simply stopping an idea such as that from forming. You might have noticed I'm not a very tolerant person most of the time...

Gira: Gravity Hammer is still just a hammer with extra force. In Gears, they have advanced weapons, and only explosives have any effect on the Berserkers...and they have to be high explosives.

So ya. Throw around the Berserker? Probably. But kill it? Nah.

Brute Chieftains are also not a force to be reconned with. Once they activate their invincibility, nothing can kill them. I doubt that the Brezerker can kill the Chieftain before then...

On another point, if you think about it, the Brute wouldn't need to face the Berserk, if they where by any means in a war to death, the Covenant could simply glass the planet, killing all life and possibly destroying the planet in the process.

Alpha: Semantics. These kinds of discussions are basically saying "Somehow, someway, they have to fight to the death. Who would win?"

Gira: Invincibility doesn't last forever. And from what I've seen in the Halo games, force still applies with the Brutes, as in they can get thrown about by explosives. The Berserker could just continually smack it around until the Invincibility wore off.

I know, just pointing out something.

But yeah, it also depends of what type of Brute Chieftain the Berserk is facing. In one hand, there is a Hammer wielding Chieftain and on the other there is a Plasma Turret wielding Chieftain. But my money is in the Brute nonetheless.
