Thunderheart nodded. "I would expect no less of him." he meowed quietly, half to himself.

[Hopeflower]

The dark ginger tom bowed his head. "You must think me weak," he mewed, flattening his ears as he awaited his father's reaction. "For not being able to protect him even from a rogue."

[TyrannoTitan]

"I am sure you tried your best to help your brother. I would expect no less from you, either. Sometimes...no matter how hard you try, things don't always end as they should. It is only the rogue who is to blame for Sunstorm's death...no one else." Thunderheart explained, suddenly very serious, biting back his own feelings of guilt. All of his kin knew the importance of family...of honor. Without a doubt, Blazeheart fought for Sunstorm as best he could, and for that, his brother would be proud...

[Hopeflower]

Blazeheart looked up, surprised. He'd expected Thunderheart to blame him for not taking better care of Sunstorm. "I...guess you're right," he meowed. "Maybe I couldn't have done any more for him..."

[TyrannoTitan]

Thunderheart smiled, sitting down beside Blazeheart. "At least you and your sister are safe...Sunstorm wouldn't want you two sharing in his fate, now would he?" he questioned, shaking his head. "Your brother was an honorable cat...he wouldn't want any of us to blame ourselves for his passing."

[Hopeflower]

"No....no he wouldn't," Blazeheart meowed, sitting as well. He sighed. "How's Demontalon, by the way? I saw you go in after she did."

[Shade]

Sunclaw subtley inched away when the little reunion started. She walked over to Stormheart. He growled softly, but let her approach. She laid next to him and started to lick his shoulder. "You seem irrate today," she said. "Hmm, more trouble," he grumbled. "They were once clan cats, it's going to be fine," Sunclaw assured.

Shadelight was eating a small weasel not too far away from the pile. The meat was stringy and not very satisfying, but she ate it anyway.

[TyrannoTitan]

"She's recovering well. Its not anything serious...never able to take things slow, that one." Thunderheart meowed, smirking, referring to his daughter's over-exertion while injured.

[Hopeflower]

"Good to hear," Blazeheart purred, feeling as though a weight had been lifted from his shoulders. "If only she did slow it down once in a while. She'll probably be insisting to go hunting or something tomorrow."

[TyrannoTitan]

"I'll be sure to tip Cloudhaze off. Maybe give her something to calm down." Thunderheart meowed, partly serious, not exactly wanting his daughter to reopen her wound because of her own stubborn nature...

[Hopeflower]

"Probably a good idea," Blazeheart mewed. "Maybe you should tell whoever's deputy these days not to let her out of the camp, too," he suggested. Knowing Demontalon, she was likely to insist on stretching her legs...and get into a fight in the process.

[TyrannoTitan]

Thunderheart nodded. "For now, I think you should get some rest. Then again, you aren't a kit any more...lets call it 'useful advice'." he meowed good-naturedly, tail flicking behind him.

[Hopeflower]

Blazeheart found himself stretching his jaws in a wide yawn. "Yeah," he mewed. "That's another good idea. It's been a long day." He glanced around. "Should I just find a place out here, or will I be allowed in the warriors' den?" he asked, not really sure if he was welcome to take his place among the Clan's warriors just yet.

[TyrannoTitan]

"I'm sure they won't mind. You were in the clan, after all." Thunderheart replied, glancing toward the warrior's den.

[Hopeflower]

"See you in the morning then," Blazeheart mewed with a nod. With a last glance at the entrance to the medicine den, he padded towards the warriors' den in hopes of a dreamless sleep. If he were honest, though, he wasn't really expecting to get one.

[TyrannoTitan]

Thunderheart watched the younger tom go with a quiet sigh. It was good to have his family back...even if they all had to deal with Sunstorm's death. At least...Demontalon and Blazeheart were safe, Thunderheart would make sure of that.

[The Kingpin]

Wraith walked over to Shadelight, smirking as he noticed the weasel she was eating. in the rush of the day's events he hadn't had time to actually speak to her. he decided he'd leap on the opportunity. "Good moooooorning....or should i say, afternoon" he growled as he got to her side, laying on one side to give his legs a bit of time to rest...

[Shade]

Shadelight purred in amusement. "Good morning to you too perky," she quipped. "What do you think of our new yet familiar clanmates?" she asked. She offered a piece of weasel to him.

[The Kingpin]

"All of them tried and proven Clan Cats and more than eager to return. i have no doubts in their loyalty" growled Wraith. "What i do worry about are the clan's problems with them. i've already seen Thorn respond badly to their return. i plan to talk to the cats i find acting coldly towards the newcomers and set them straight"...

[Shade]

Shadelight nodded. She looked a bit worried, for Stormheart. He had openly discussed his disapproval of the new-comers. Hopefully he wouldn't have to face his father about this. "Eventually they'll warm up to it," she mewed.
