Wraith smiled. "Not to mention it'd give us more time to socialise. these days i hardly see you anymore because of patrols, clan diplomacy and other things" he growled. "now...you want to go and pay our old home a visit before we go back to camp?" he inquired with a smirk. it had been a long time since he saw the tree stump they had made their home for a few glorious moons...

Again Insolitus paused to take a drink from the stream that led to the Moonpool, not quite so eager as Renny to see the Clan cats. They probably wouldn't be happy to see him. And though he'd rather avoid a fight, this time he might not escape unclawed.

Insolitus sighed as he stood, flicking water from his whiskers. "I'm coming," he mewed, leaping the stream and falling into step beside Renny.

Insolitus let out a low hum, neither agreeing or disagreeing. Privately, though, he thought that maybe things wouldn't turn out to be so simple.

Wraith smiled. "Let's go then. it's not too far" he meowed, turning towards the old Thunderclan border once more, closer to the lake, the stump already visible in the distance. he made sure to be walking as close as physically possible to Shadelight. it had been too long since they had been able to walk together in privacy. "I remember the first time you led me there....had a hurt leg....you helped with Marigold...I remember seeing it as one of the most peaceful moments of my life" growled the black tom with a smile of reminiscence...those were the good days....aside from the trouble with Shadowclan and Riverclan, those were relatively peaceful times...

Wraith looked at Shadelight with a smirk. "Sooo.....lying down on the ground purring at the attention and the peace isn't enough to show it?" he growled, suddenly plopping onto his side, a look of mocked satisfaction on his face to emphasize his point...

Shadelight purred again. She herself laid down and rolled onto her back. "I meant I never would've guessed you'd become my mate or be the father of 3 strong warriors," she mewed.

Wraith chuckled. "Do you regret anything about it?" he growled, shuffling over, even though the stump was still a fair distance away...

Meanwhile, Nightclaw was just starting to wake up after the exhaustion of the night vigil. he wondered whether Hawkclaw was as exhausted over it as he was.....then again, it wasn't likely. he had woken up unusually early the day before to impress his father, and most of the others were asleep. he contemplated getting up and looking for her, or maybe going to the medicine den to check in on the cat that was sent there when his father came back with all those former Warriors...or perhaps.....just lay there...

Stormheart still slept in his dark corner of the den, while Sunclaw was starting to wake as well. "Nightclaw you awake?" she hissed quietly to him.

Wraith smiled. "That's all that matters. now....you want to go see our old home? or would you rather we just laze around here in the sun and enjoy what's left of it before it goes down?" he purred with a chuckle...

"hm?" murred Nightclaw, still barely in the mood to heave himself to his feet. he made a mental note not to wake up early again....it was only logical they'd choose darker cats like himself for the night vigil....better to let himself have normal sleeping times and take the night vigil normally rather than wake up so early the day before that he's left immobile while the rest of the clan is moving around actively outside....
