"More visitors?" Demontalon meowed, looking at who else was poking into the den out of the corner of one eye. "Don't I feel special. Long time no see, Hawkclaw. How've you been?" Hawkclaw was hard-pressed not to let her jaw drop. She knew that scent like she knew the scent of her family. The voice was no less familiar. "I've been...well," she mewed. Her gaze swept over the black she-cat's wound.

Nightclaw stared at the cat for a while. there was something familiar about the voice, the scent. but he couldn't pinpoint it. he cocked his head curiously, not sure what to say. "You look familiar....but i can't remember why" he mewed...

Nightclaw's eyes widened when he saw the eyes. "Demony!" he mewed cheerfully, using the nickname he used for her as a kit. "I'm Shadowsoul's son. Nightclaw. you used to play with my siblings and i when we were kits!" he mewed...

Hawkclaw had to smile. "It's an idea," she mewed. She flicked a glance at Demontalon with a small smirk and mouthed, Demony? The black she-cat's return wince was barely visible. This was going to come back to bite her in the tail, she just knew it.

Demontalon immediately looked at the ground as her long claws slid out. "...We lost someone," she murmured. "If we'd been there just a little bit sooner...." She shook her head slowly, raw grief making her heart twist painfully.
